You’re a loving pet parent and you want someone who will care for your pets with the same care, attention, and reliability that you do. Whether you’re heading to work, out for the day, or away for the weekend, I’m here to provide dependable, compassionate care so you can relax knowing your pets are in good hands. While I may not have years of formal pet sitting experience, I bring years of hands on experience as a pet parent to two golden retrievers - one full of energy, and one a senior with special care needs. I’ve also frequently cared for friends and neighbors pets, providing everything from walks, playtime, and medication support. As a law enforcement and military spouse you can trust that your pets and your home will be safe and in great care. I understand how important your pets are to you, and I take that responsibility seriously. I’ll treat your pets like my own with patience, attentiveness, and lots of love.

While caring for your pet in your home I will follow your instructions closely to keep your pet’s routine as consistent as possible. I welcome you to share preferences for feeding schedules, walk times, playtime, administering medication, and other needs. Your pet will also receive plenty of positive attention and I will take care of any other details we discuss so you know that your pet is safe and happy when you are away.

Megan helped us check on our 3 golden retrievers while we were away for a long weekend. She sent us photos every time she visited and we really liked how detailed she was on her daily reports. That really helped us feel less worried and relaxed during our trip. When we came back, our dogs were happy and healthy! We highly recommend her!!

Schedule
Being a self-employed mental health therapist and a stay at home dog mom means I have flexibility in my week to care for your pet. If you are requesting house sitting please know that this includes 2-3 drop-in visits and optional overnight stay. We can discuss individual needs and details about this at our meet and greet!

- Every pet parent has unique ways that they take care of their pet. Please let me know if you have any special requests or needs that you want me to know ahead of my visit! Please note: If you are scheduling a dog walk I am only able to work with pets who are leash trained. Unfortunately, dog training is out of my scope of practice. This is to ensure the safety of both myself and your pet. As an alternative I am happy to bring them outside to your yard for some play and exercise!
