Since most cats prefer their own home, I’m usually on their turf! I’m very respectful of the privacy of the home while also maintaining the environment to match their usual routine. I aim to closely follow any specific instructions, keeping the space clear of objects harmful to pets, and ensuring they have all their favorite treats and toys handy! In addition I have no problem looking out for the safety of the home, such as bringing in mail, packages, or leaving on lights.

A typical day
I will match your cat’s energy; if they prefer to be left alone; I won’t force interaction. On the other hand, if they are more social; I will stimulate them both physically and mentally. I offer ear scratches, chin rubs, and energetic games! And of course I value the importance of fresh water and a clean litter box!

Pet care experience
I have both formally and casually been in the business of pet and children care for over thirty years. I worked for several families independently to care for their small dogs, kittens and aging cats on a daily basis. Additionally, I had a home daycare for 20 years where I nurtured infants, up through pre-school age. Caring for others is my life's work! On a more personal level, I grew up with pets, and I have always been surrounded by the pets of friends and family. I currently have two sibling cats (Thunder and Storm); and three grand-pets! Just as when I operated a home day-care, I keep safety a top priority. It is extremely important to me that the pet parents I work with feel their animals will be safe, comfortable & happy!
