Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover and proud dog mom to Baker, our 5-year-old adopted coonhound. He’s such a big part of my life that he even inspired me to write and publish a children’s book about him, Learning to Count with Baker the Dog! Having Baker has given me years of firsthand experience with the responsibility, attention, patience, and love that go into caring for a dog. My husband and I also regularly help care for our sister-in-law’s two dogs when she’s away, sometimes having them stay with us for several days at a time. We also love helping our friends by watching their dogs in our home when they need a sitter. I know how important it is to feel completely comfortable with the person caring for your pet. Whether your dog is staying with me, needs a walk, or just needs some extra attention and company, I’ll treat them with the same care and affection I give Baker. I’m happy to follow your dog’s normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications, or other instructions you provide. I also understand that every dog has their own personality, and I’ll take the time to learn what makes yours feel comfortable and happy. You can expect dependable care, great communication, plenty of updates and photos, and lots of attention for your pup.
