“Amy was absolutely fantastic with my three cats while we were away for over a week. She was always on time, sent great pictures, was communicative, played with them each visit and really knew their personalities a few days in! About: Hi there! I’ve had dogs and cats in my life for as long as I can remember, and I currently share my home with two of each. Whether it’s a tiny terrier, a gentle giant, or a quirky cat with a big personality, I’ve cared for animals of all shapes, sizes, and breeds. Animals have always gravitated toward me, and the feeling is mutual. I’m that person who greets the pets before the people — and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Whether your pet needs a long walk, a cozy overnight stay, or a quick drop-in visit, I’ll treat them like one of my own. I offer all services on Rover and bring years of hands-on experience, a calm energy, and a deep respect for every animal’s unique needs. I can’t wait to meet your furry family member! I'm incredibly flexible with my availability for you and your pets. If it's a potty break or daily check ins for a week I have got you covered ☺️ Your pet's safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I know how important it is to feel confident that your furry friend is in good hands, so I always take the time to get to know each animal's personality, needs, and routines. Whether I'm walking your dog, checking in on your cat, or having a sleepover with your pet at home, I aim to create a calm, positive environment where they feel secure and loved. I'm experienced with leash safety, reading animal body language, and giving meds if needed - and I'm always happy to provide updates and photos so you know how things are going. My goal is to make every visit feel like a mini vacation for your pet, and total peace of mind for you.

“Sarah provided exceptional care for our pup throughout a couple weeks of needing extra help. She was reliable and timely and our dog absolutely loved his visits with her— cannot recommend enough!”

“Kacey took excellent care of my two cats when I was gone and went above and beyond what I would expect from a sitter. I would definitely hire again in the future and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring cat sitter.”

“Super detailed reports were very appreciated during our busy trip! She also got Tito to play which isn’t easily done as a “stranger” to Tito. Would definitely recommend!”

About: Hello, my name is Shari and I love taking care of pets! I have a lot of experience petsitting for both dogs, cats, rodents and reptiles. I grew up in a house with a lot of pets. Right now I help take care of my family's pets (they have one dog and two cats). Their previous dog, Max (sadly passed away three years ago) suffered from epilepsy and I've personally helped him calm down during his seizures. My friend, Dr. Rebecca Lazarus who is a veterinarian at Westpark Animal Hospital trusts me to watch her pets while she is out of town. She and her partner currently have five cats, four dogs, three pet rats, and a leopard gecko. Her pets require different medications and special foods which requires a lot of supervision and making sure everyone finishes their meals and takes their medicine. I am happy to provide a number of references if you would like! I would also prefer to schedule a meet-and-greet so we can talk more about any specialized needs required for your pet, and so that you and your pet can get to know me as well! I have a very flexible schedule, I do freelance illustration and other gig work so I am able to make my own schedule quite easily. I will never let a dog off their leash while going on walks, I will always make sure to feed them and provide fresh water daily. I will make sure they get plenty of play time and all the attention they deserve. I will ask questions about anything I’m unsure of. I will also never double book appointments, I only take one job at a time so I can give your pet all the attention they need.

“Puppers took to him instantly. It's good to know I can count on someone to take good care of my dog while I'm away, and that my dog isn't gonna turn into a depressed furball. Very much appreciated!”

About: Hey there, I'm Emily! I've been around dogs since I was little, they've been in my family and I even trained our new puppy when I was in high school. I’ve volunteered in an animal shelter for 4 years. I’ve taken animal science classes and have learned animal CPR. I also know how to take care of reptiles as I have a few of my own! I also have experience with small mammals such as rabbits, ferrets, sugar gliders, mice, rats and more. Clients can count on me to feed, play with, and be attentive to your pets needs. I currently have a part-time job, so I have more time to look after your pet companions! I am available during the day Mon-Wed, and anytime after 6pm Thurs-Saturday. I have enough energy to play with your dog or cat! I have patience if they are skittish or need a little extra time near strangers. And if your pet companion has scales, I can feed them when they need it and look after its well being and needs.

“Elizabeth is great with our pup! She walks him and plays with him and he always looks happy when she sends us picture updates. Elizabet is great at communication and is very helpful. We were nervous about leaving our puppy when we went back to work, but she eased our concerns and has helped make it a smooth transition. We will be rebooking for all our future Rover needs!”

About: I've owned pets since I was a toddler. I'm currently a cat, dog, and bearded dragon owner. I’m an animal lover! I specialize in caring for rescues and abused animals. I also walk and board dogs using the Wag app. I'm a self-employed single parent and entrepreneur. I create my own schedule, so I'm very flexible. I'm available for walks, drop-ins, and boarding your pet/s. I live in a huge single family home with plenty of space. I live close a metro park, so that is where I mostly walk my pet clients. I'm a local handy woman, but prefer caring for animals from the comfort of my home. I have a huge single family home with hardwood floors and also own a few crates to keep multiple boarders separated and safe if necessary. I’m currently available for full-time boardings, sittings, drop-ins, and walks. Taking care of animals and pets brings me great joy and I’m happy to be of service. I have a huge single family home and two fur babies to keep your pet company. I can easily crate your pet when necessary. Pets are supervised 24 hours a day.

17. Emily G.
“Emily and i volunteered together at a high-traffic animal shelter for several years. She was fantastic with dogs of all shapes and sizes. She was able to handle anxious ones, calm ones, high-energy, seniors, puppies, instinctively knowing what each needed within a few minutes of meeting them. She was especially good at calming them; in a high-stress environment such as a shelter, it is easy for a dog to demonstrate anxiety very quickly, but Em was able to ease their fears and work with them all. She is also very good with cats; her neighborhood cats know they can come to her for a greeting and, if needed, a snack or a bandage.”
