I've been around animals my entire life! My family has had pets for as long as I can remember—from senior golden retrievers to brand new kittens—and I have been pet sitting for friends and family since I was back in high school. I even now have two kitties of my own! When I take care of your pets, I'll treat them with the same care and affection I do my own. I've taken care of animals with behavioral struggles and physical health troubles within my own family and it has given me important experience to be able to take the best care of your pets, no matter what their unique circumstances.

I am Red Cross Certified in Cat and Dog First Aid. I also have experience caring for both senior dogs and puppies/kittens that are under a year old, as well as experience administering various oral medications and inhalers to dogs and cats. I also have experience with dogs that require a muzzle, for any reason. I do reserve the right to refuse any booking where a dog is not leash trained, for the safety of myself as well as your dog.

Where do I even begin? We have a 20-year-old senior cat, and we had never trusted anyone else to care for him before. Leaving him was something I was incredibly anxious about, but Alexis made the entire experience so much easier. She was so patient, kind, and gentle with our sweet senior boy. She did an amazing job giving him his medications and always kept me updated after each visit with thoughtful messages and pictures. Honestly, I don’t know who she comforted more—me or my cat! I’m forever grateful for the love and care she gave him while we were away. Knowing he was in such capable, compassionate hands gave me such peace of mind. I’ll admit I’m a bit of a nervous Nelly and very particular, especially when it comes to my cat. Alexis followed every one of my detailed instructions, little tips, and routines without hesitation, and she made me feel completely at ease. I truly can’t recommend Alexis enough. If you’re looking for someone who will care for your pet as if they were her own, she’s the one. Thank you, Alexis, for taking such wonderful care of our boy. It meant more to us than you’ll ever know.
Alexis made a personal visit to meet my cats ahead of time. They connected with her immediately, and they were also calm and relaxed when I got home. They clearly felt safe in her care, and I will definitely try to book her in the future.
Alexis is very detailed and attentive. She took great care of my cat while I was away! I highly recommend her to anyone who has furbabies with special requirements and needs.
We had Alexis watch our pup Bean over an extended weekend and she was absolutely amazing! Bean is super shy and has some medical needs, and Alexis was able to provide competent, solid care for her! We came home to a super happy, well cared for dog. She did a great job providing updates and asked great questions. We would absolutely have her back!
We had a great experience with Alexis watching our two dogs while we were out of town. She was very communicative throughout and flexible when we needed her to come by the house a few hours earlier than planned.
