About: Even though we do not have dogs ourselves, I grew up with many rescue dogs. Friends and neighbors have trusted me to care for their pups! I love to play with them, take them for long walks, or just cuddle. I am a full-time university professor. During the school year, I work from home on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I am also available Tuesday and Thursday late afternoons evenings. I am happy to schedule weekend care. My summer (mid-May to mid-August) is much more open and flexible. I am available for multiple daily home visits, but not for overnights. Since I had a "super senior" cat who needed daily meds, I am punctual and diligent about care. I am excellent at paying attention to details. I give all animals attentive, loving care!

About: I am retired, so I have plenty of time and availability to visit, house sit, play, and walk dogs around their neighborhoods or dog parks. I have no problem cleaning/refreshing litter boxes. I care for our two cats, and even though they're both semi-feral, they still need a lot of TLC and attention. Daily food prep, litter box maintenance, and play time. I take care to follow clients' wishes for their loved pets in their homes, including feeding, cleaning, playing, and ensuring the cats and/or dogs are loved and cared for.

I specialize in keeping anxious animals calm and grounded while their families are away, often using custom environmental cues (like playing or making soothing music) to help them relax. My approach to pet sitting is built on old-fashioned reliability, mature professionalism, and absolute respect for your privacy. When I watch your pets or stay in your home, my focus is entirely on the animals, not on a phone screen. I take pride in being a conscientious, neat guest, ensuring you return to a space that is just as clean and orderly as you left it, alongside happy, relaxed pets. Most pets tend to flock right to me. With six cats at present and a handful of cats and dogs down through the years we've built a rapport. Besides the basic maintenance of feeding and walking/scooping companionship is essential and it's important for them to feel safe and appreciated. Working both part-time and freelance, my schedule is pretty flexible and few things are set in stone. Tell me what you need and I'll work around your schedule. Our six cats, all but one rescues, are indoor cats. Bowls are washed twice a day before each feeding. Boxes are scooped daily with one going out of commission for cleaning every week. Baking soda is under the littler and sometimes a little more is mixed on top if needed. When I lived with dogs I walked them twice a day taking a good long walk around the neighborhood so they ould get exercise and fresh air. I refer to them as “he” and “she” not “it”.

About: I’ve helped take care of and train dogs of various sorts and sizes since I can walk along with my dad. I’ve gotten my love for animals as a whole from him and it’s the perfect therapy and job. Having many dogs, cats, birds, turtles, fish and pet crabs throughout my life has helped me to have an extra sense of care, love, and attention for all animals. I’m currently working part-time, so I’m available to play, train, and care for your lovable furry friend 7 days a week from 8am to 2pm and 9pm to 12am. I have a fenced front yard and backyard for your lovely pets to freely roam and play with me. I also have a 7 year old Shih Tzu and a 2 year old cat (both females) whom are very loving, calm, and ecstatic to meet a new friend. A crate is available upon request as well.
