Availability
We've had pets for the last 15 years, so pet care is just part of the routine. So that means meals multiple times a day, walks 3 times a day, litter box cleaning, nail trimming, vet visits, and all the normal things required for keeping your pets healthy. Then on top of that, we provide as much love, attention and games to keep our pets happy.

For pet-sitting, I feel it's always important to get the following info: * Name, number & address of regular vet AND emergency vet * Feeding times (including treats) as well as medication schedule * Info about favorite toys & games the pet(s) enjoy * House rules (e.g., is the pet allowed on the bed, when are routine bathroom breaks, etc.) * How does the pet interact with other pets in the household? With unknown animals?
A typical day
I'm a firm believer that when pet-sitting I both entertain the pets with games and also providing cuddle time (if the pet is open to it).

Pet care experience
I've been a dog owner the last 13 years, and did quite a bit of pet sitting (including cats) in NYC prior to that. Over the years, I've done twice daily long walks with my dogs, potty trained puppies, and administered meds to older dogs (including chemo). I have an extremely flexible schedule, and I have a spouse who can care for our pets while I'm working. While I'm engaged with a client, I'm 100% focused on their pet. In a client's home, I make certain to find out what the house rules are for the pet(s) to make certain we follow those rules and keep consistency while the owners are away.
