“10/10 I would recommend Alyssa. She came and walked our beloved dog while we were out of town and our dog was home with gramma. She came and met him before booking to make sure they were a good fit. She was flexible with the schedule when the weather called for rain. She kept us updated with pictures and summaries of their walks. She also gave him his meds, treats and water.”

“I’ve used Madison for all my walks and has been fabulous. She’s on time, clarifies any thing that needs to be and is able to do last min walks. I highly recommend. I live in a building that has people at the front desk always and they also rave about how caring and great Madison is. she will care for your dog like her own:)”

“Chris has been an absolutely amazing dog walker! We moved here from out of town and our poor dog was a little stressed with all the life changes and not having his usual walkers. However Chris came to the rescue and our pup got his pep back in his step! 10/10 would reccomend him as your dog walker!”

“Brittany has been a great addition to Corbin's routine. She comes daily to walk, feed and play with him. She provides me with super cute pictures and an update on how he did”

About: I’ve helped take care of and train dogs of various sorts and sizes since I can walk along with my dad. I’ve gotten my love for animals as a whole from him and it’s the perfect therapy and job. Having many dogs, cats, birds, turtles, fish and pet crabs throughout my life has helped me to have an extra sense of care, love, and attention for all animals. I’m currently working part-time, so I’m available to play, train, and care for your lovable furry friend 7 days a week from 8am to 2pm and 9pm to 12am. I have a fenced front yard and backyard for your lovely pets to freely roam and play with me. I also have a 7 year old Shih Tzu and a 2 year old cat (both females) whom are very loving, calm, and ecstatic to meet a new friend. A crate is available upon request as well.
About: I have been taking care of dogs for a little over a decade for my friends and family. I also worked at a dog daycare while in college, where I played, fed cuddled, loved, did house visits and overall cared for about any dog breed you can think of! On a regular day at the daycare, we would have around 25 different dogs at a time to care for. I also have have my own dog named Harley and he’s the best boy! I work full time. 5x 8’s with varying shift times and days but I will work around my hours to take care of your fur babies! I will always treat your fur baby like one of my own. They will have my full attention when I am with them and I will make sure their needs are met. I will follow all instructions you have and give them all of the love to make sure they are happy!
“Michael does a great job with our dogs. He is super reliable and the dogs are happy to see him. I highly recommend Michael for anyone needing a dog walker.”

“Sandra was brave enough to come in the first bitter cold of the season and patiently walked our 10 month old yellow lab. When we first had our meet and greet she was very professional and we knew our boy would be in good hands.”

“Randy walked my dog today, and I have to say I was nothing more than impressed. I got multiple pictures and constant communication. I really appreciate Randy walking my dog in the time that I needed. I will be reusing Randy’s services whenever I need someone to walk my dog that I can trust. Thank you, Randy.”

“Kaley was absolutely wonderful! She cared for my two, very large (and occasionally rambunctious) labradors for two weeks while I was in Pittsburgh for business. I can offer superlatives only for her reliability and her kindness to my boys, who adored her. I recommend her 100%!”

About: I am retired, so I have plenty of time and availability to visit, house sit, play, and walk dogs around their neighborhoods or dog parks. I have no problem cleaning/refreshing litter boxes. I care for our two cats, and even though they're both semi-feral, they still need a lot of TLC and attention. Daily food prep, litter box maintenance, and play time. I take care to follow clients' wishes for their loved pets in their homes, including feeding, cleaning, playing, and ensuring the cats and/or dogs are loved and cared for.
About: I have taken care of dogs of all breeds and ages, a leopard gecko, chickens, even ducks and my love for animals is always growing. Right now I am unemployed so I have plenty of time to have a nice walk with your buddy’s. Big or small I love them. I make sure my dog gets plenty of sun and exercise outside while feeding him his food with all the nutrients he needs, he’s thriving not surviving.

“Charlotte came to walk my dog three times when my partner was a patient at Cleveland Clinic and I was staying at a hotel nearby. She dealt with some logistical difficulties with the hotel and took care of Ahsoka. She got Ahsoka some exercise and dealt with her reactivity. Her communication was excellent and I could tell Ahsoka had been well-cared for.”

“Thanks for always taking such good care of Walter! He seems to enjoy his time with you and I love the information you give us. You also take the best pictures of Walter ever!!”

“Emily is friendly, kind and attentive, and I trust her to take great care of my Artie. She was even kind enough to bring my packages inside when she came over to walk him. I highly recommend booking with Emily.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - South Euclid
Christina was very good with Punkin and he obviously liked her. I would definitely use her another time. We were just traveling and got sick, but our dog still needed to be walked. Christina was a lifesaver for our little pooch. Thanks, Christina. You’re the best.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
