My Availability for Walks & Drop-Ins My schedule is highly flexible and built around my animal care commitments. I am in class two days a week from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM, and I work my other animal care job on Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays—but my work hours on those days are pretty flexible! Outside of my class times, I have plenty of availability throughout the week for morning, afternoon, and evening drop-in visits or walks. Whether you need a consistent mid-day break or a quick evening feeding, I can easily adjust my calendar to fit your pet's routine. Your pet's safety and comfort are my absolute top priorities. Because of my formal training as a future veterinary assistant and my experience volunteering at the shelter, I am highly attentive to animal behavior, body language, and home safety. During drop-ins and walks, I ensure your home remains secure, double-check that gates and doors are locked, and keep a watchful eye out for any potential hazards. You can trust that your furry family member will always be in safe, capable hands, receiving the same gentle care and respect that I would give to my own pets.

I have firsthand experience with the daily care, attention and patience that pets need to thrive. Beyond caring for my own dogs, I volunteer with a local animal shelter for a “Dogs Day Out” program where I take shelter dogs on outside to provide socialization, exercise and enrichment. These experiences alone have strengthened my understanding of dogs with many personalities and needs, allowing me to provide compassionate, attentive, and reliable care for every pet I get to meet. :) I work in the emergency department, so my schedule varies, but my partner and I live together so generally when I am not home he is there, and vice versa. When I’m not at work, I will spend all my time with your pet, taking them on walks, to dog parks, to get pup cups, etc, whatever you as the owner allow or prefer! I have a fenced in yard at my home, so dogs can be off leash to exercise, use the potty, and play time. During their stay in my home, they are welcome to be free roaming, not in crates, unless owners would prefer crates.

About: I’m a champion for human & pets alike. Familial animals have been apart of my life since I was a young child and the subsequent years into my adulthood. I’ve assisted in the basic obedience training of 10+ dogs both in youth & elder-hood; temporarily lived with anxious pups whilst their parents traveled out of state; & I’ve formed genuine bonds with clients’ pets that I’ve routinely walked and tended to for years now. I’ve departed from traditional 9 to 5 employment to commit myself full-time towards the enriching of relations between all living beings, in particular, one Pet/Parent client at a time! Pet caregiving, dog handling & house sitting are my full-time job! Which fortunately means I’ve got quite a fluid weekly schedule capable of integrating a broad range of client scenarios. Mondays & Tuesdays between 9am and 9pm are my most flexible hours — services needed Wednesday thru Friday can be readily accommodated during our initial consultation. For clients interested in Boarding services - my home is a decently sized, fully furnished apartment with climate control functionality. During their stay with me your pets are welcome to languor however they normally would at home. I strive to make the stay as comfortable as possible for your pets whilst honoring whatever caregiving conditions/training you may request. If house-sitting your home is preferred, you can feel confident that your residence & loved-ones will be tended to with exemplary care & that upon your return home, it will be in the exact same or better condition than when you’d left it!

He’s such a big part of my life that he even inspired me to write and publish a children’s book about him, Learning to Count with Baker the Dog! Having Baker has given me years of firsthand experience with the responsibility, attention, patience, and love that go into caring for a dog. My husband and I also regularly help care for our sister-in-law’s two dogs when she’s away, sometimes having them stay with us for several days at a time. Because my schedule is flexible, I can also adjust around each dog’s normal routine and specific needs. Whether your pup is staying with me, needs a daytime visit, or just benefits from some extra company and attention, I’m able to make their care a consistent part of my day. When caring for pets in my home, I do my best to make them feel comfortable, safe, and part of the family. Since I work remotely, I’m able to be home with them throughout much of the day for regular potty breaks, walks, feeding, playtime, and plenty of attention. I also make sure to follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible and will learn about their personality, preferences, and any special instructions before their stay. Because we have our own dog, Baker, I prefer to do a meet-and-greet before boarding whenever possible so we can make sure the dogs are comfortable together. I’ll follow all instructions for feeding, walks, medications, playtime, and any other care needs, while making sure their pet receives plenty of attention and companionship. I work remotely full time from home with a flexible schedule. Throughout my work day I diligently walk, water, feed, and play with any animals under my care. Pet needs can sometimes be unpredictable. My services can be made available to those in need of short-notice pet care. For those in need of pet boarding and short-term pet sitting I have a large fenced yard with plenty of toys, access to potty areas, and open access into my home. There is plenty of space for your dog to be comfortable and receive appropriate mental stimulation. Crate trained dogs are welcome though the majority of my experience is with non-crate trained dogs. I make a point to walk and play with your dog as much as necessary!

About: i’ve taken care of multiple pets at one time while house sitting (3 big dogs and one cat). Also have helped out with my Family member’s pets, 3 different digs 2 different cats. My cat passed away a few months ago and I miss being around animals but I do want to get another myself right now. She lived a long life and I handled her with such care I have experience with old and sick animals that may need a little extra love and help. I have a very flexible schedule right now with lots of free time right now. Specifically Thursday nights after 5 pm is my designated time for some self care and service work at a church so I can not help out at that time. i am an adamant cleaner and good about picking up after pets and also just being kind to them! i come from a very dog loving family and do not have any of my own but will take good care of them. Also, lots of experience living with cats and taking care of two of my own the last 3 years.
