“Angela was fantastic! She came over to meet us and our pets and exchange information prior to our weekend away. She followed our directions, spent quality time with our pets, gave lots of feedback (which is really important to us) and photos, and left the house in good condition. We will definitely be using her services again. Can't say enough good things about our experience!”
“Alyssa was Amazing! Communicated the entire time we were on our trip. Pictures from each drop in visit. Our dog absolutely loved her! Huge relief when traveling when we couldn’t bring our pup with us. Will for sure be reaching out to her again our next trip.”

About: I'm just getting started taking care of pets professionally, but I've been looking after my friends and family's dogs since I was a kid. Looking forward to getting to know you and your four legged friends! I'm currently in grad school at the UofM, so my schedule is mostly dependent on when I have class. For the most part, I am available both weekdays and weekends. I am looking forward to visiting your pets in your home and treating that space with the respect it deserves! If you have any questions about my pet-sitring philosophy, don't hesitate to ask!
About: I have been taking care of dogs for a little over a decade for my friends and family. I also worked at a dog daycare while in college, where I played, fed cuddled, loved, did house visits and overall cared for about any dog breed you can think of! On a regular day at the daycare, we would have around 25 different dogs at a time to care for. I also have have my own dog named Harley and he’s the best boy! I work full time. 5x 8’s with varying shift times and days but I will work around my hours to take care of your fur babies! I will always treat your fur baby like one of my own. They will have my full attention when I am with them and I will make sure their needs are met. I will follow all instructions you have and give them all of the love to make sure they are happy!
About: My family has had cats since I was 13 years old and we’ve fostered and found homes for many strays. I adopted my dog when she was 8 weeks old, 8 years ago. I understand the deep love and concern all pet parents have for their babies because I see Juju as my child. I would love to help provide trustworthy and compassionate care for your pets! I also rely on Rover when I’m at work 3 days a week and I’d love to spend my days off helping other pet parents and animals feel safe and supported. I only work three days a week so I have a lot of flexibility. I’m off every other weekend so I have some weekend availability too. I’m happy to feed, walk, play with, cuddle, and care for your pet in any way that you need! I’m also comfortable with administering medication.
About: I have taken care of dogs of all breeds and ages, a leopard gecko, chickens, even ducks and my love for animals is always growing. Right now I am unemployed so I have plenty of time to have a nice walk with your buddy’s. Big or small I love them. I make sure my dog gets plenty of sun and exercise outside while feeding him his food with all the nutrients he needs, he’s thriving not surviving.
About: I have been dog-sitting/house-sitting since sophomore year of high school, and my customers always have high praise. I ensure your house will remain clean, and your pets happy. I am respectful to your rules for your home and pets, and love to spend time with them! I love nature and willing to take your dog on an adventure during our walk, and I love to run with dogs, so I can ensure a great workout for your pup. I’m very easy-going and super flexible with my time. I hope I can help you and your pets! I own two cats myself, and they're very social, thankfully though since they are cats my time is very flexible. I'm truly looking for something to fill in my time just like any service. I've house sat for all different types of pet situations, with training varying to a lot to none. I want your pet to enjoy my stay and not fear me, and I want to give you peace of mind of that while I'm there.
“Marti took great care of my two kitties! I would recommend her to anyone looking for a drop in sitter. She was very communicative and helpful. I came home to two happy cat brothers😻”

About: Hi there! I’ve had dogs and cats in my life for as long as I can remember, and I currently share my home with two of each. Whether it’s a tiny terrier, a gentle giant, or a quirky cat with a big personality, I’ve cared for animals of all shapes, sizes, and breeds. Animals have always gravitated toward me, and the feeling is mutual. I’m that person who greets the pets before the people — and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Whether your pet needs a long walk, a cozy overnight stay, or a quick drop-in visit, I’ll treat them like one of my own. I offer all services on Rover and bring years of hands-on experience, a calm energy, and a deep respect for every animal’s unique needs. I can’t wait to meet your furry family member! I'm incredibly flexible with my availability for you and your pets. If it's a potty break or daily check ins for a week I have got you covered ☺️ Your pet's safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I know how important it is to feel confident that your furry friend is in good hands, so I always take the time to get to know each animal's personality, needs, and routines. Whether I'm walking your dog, checking in on your cat, or having a sleepover with your pet at home, I aim to create a calm, positive environment where they feel secure and loved. I'm experienced with leash safety, reading animal body language, and giving meds if needed - and I'm always happy to provide updates and photos so you know how things are going. My goal is to make every visit feel like a mini vacation for your pet, and total peace of mind for you.
“You will never book another sitter again after meeting Bryan! He loves and understands cats so truly and provides the best, most thoughtful updates. My cat is my baby and my best friend and I have never felt more secure with her in someone’s care!! He took care of absolutely everything and ensured he knew all about her quirks and personality and play habits and veterinary information just in case. She seems so happy and well taken care of! I assure you, your cat will love Bryan.”

About: I have 5+ years of experience walking and taking care of dogs, and I’ve loved every second of it. Exercising with a furry friend is always on my agenda! I am currently a full-time student at DePaul University in Lincoln park! I only have a class or two daily, leaving me open weekdays from 8-11 and 5-10! Weekends my availability depends, but I am flexible! I love to exercise and find ways to get my walks in daily, the buddy would just be an added plus! I currently live in a dorm, so any services would need to be provided outside of my residence. Im willing to stay overnights most days, depending on distance to Lincoln park / the loop.
About: I’ve helped take care of and train dogs of various sorts and sizes since I can walk along with my dad. I’ve gotten my love for animals as a whole from him and it’s the perfect therapy and job. Having many dogs, cats, birds, turtles, fish and pet crabs throughout my life has helped me to have an extra sense of care, love, and attention for all animals. I’m currently working part-time, so I’m available to play, train, and care for your lovable furry friend 7 days a week from 8am to 2pm and 9pm to 12am. I have a fenced front yard and backyard for your lovely pets to freely roam and play with me. I also have a 7 year old Shih Tzu and a 2 year old cat (both females) whom are very loving, calm, and ecstatic to meet a new friend. A crate is available upon request as well.
“Octavia took great care of our pups! Our one dog, Frankie, is very reactive to strangers and a hard sell and she warmed up to her so well! She took the time to make sure Frankie felt safe and comfortable! Both dogs were very happy to have her there! We can’t wait to hire her again!”

About: I've owned pets since I was a toddler. I'm currently a cat, dog, and bearded dragon owner. I’m an animal lover! I specialize in caring for rescues and abused animals. I also walk and board dogs using the Wag app. I'm a self-employed single parent and entrepreneur. I create my own schedule, so I'm very flexible. I'm available for walks, drop-ins, and boarding your pet/s. I live in a huge single family home with plenty of space. I live close a metro park, so that is where I mostly walk my pet clients. I'm a local handy woman, but prefer caring for animals from the comfort of my home. I have a huge single family home with hardwood floors and also own a few crates to keep multiple boarders separated and safe if necessary. I’m currently available for full-time boardings, sittings, drop-ins, and walks. Taking care of animals and pets brings me great joy and I’m happy to be of service. I have a huge single family home and two fur babies to keep your pet company. I can easily crate your pet when necessary. Pets are supervised 24 hours a day.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Cleveland Heights
Megan helped us check on our 3 golden retrievers while we were away for a long weekend. She sent us photos every time she visited and we really liked how detailed she was on her daily reports. That really helped us feel less worried and relaxed during our trip. When we came back, our dogs were happy and healthy! We highly recommend her!!

Jimena is great! When I first met her for the meet and greet, I knew immediately that I could trust her to provide my 3 dogs and 1 cat with the best possible care over the next four days (while I was out of town). Over those 4 days, whenever she had a question, she did not hesitate to ask. She also provided me with updates, including pics, after every visit. When I arrived back, everything was very clean and orderly. No complaints whatsoever. Will definitely ask her back the next time I have to travel.
Brittany was fantastic! She was so thorough and sent great updates and photos for each visit - I was able to relax on our trip knowing that she had everything handled. This was our first trip away from our recently adopted dog, so I was a little nervous about how she would do, but she warmed up immediately to Brittany (which was impressive!) and I could tell by all the photos that she was relaxed and happy. Will absolutely be booking with Brittany again!

Glenn provided consistent care and attention for my cat and undertook the challenge of caring for my parrot although he was without prior bird experience. Both bird and cat were happy and healthy upon my return and Glenn communicated daily reports on them while I was away. I couldn’t be more pleased.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Cleveland Heights with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
