About: I have owned dogs and cats for 27 years and have learned that each pet is unique and deserving of great love and care. I've trained a puppy, rescued a young dog, given dogs and cats medicine, taken care of an ailing senior animal, gone on long walks and given plenty of belly rubs. I recently left my full-time job to focus on freelancing. This gives me flexibility and lots of time to care for pets. I would like to establish long-term relationships with pets and their owners. If I'm checking in on your pet, I will respect your home as if it were my own. I'll follow your care instructions to the letter, and make sure your pet feels safe and happy. About: I've been a dog lover for as long as I can remember, and caring for my own pets has been one of the most rewarding parts of my life. My puggle was truly the love of my life and taught me so much about patience, responsibility, and the unconditional love that dogs bring to our lives. I understand how much our pets mean to us because I've experienced that special bond firsthand. I currently have a quirky little Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who keeps me smiling every day. He's incredibly sweet, loves attention, and has his own unique personality. Where do I even begin? We have a 20-year-old senior cat, and we had never trusted anyone else to care for him before. Kate did a wonderful job taking care of our young cat, Ruby, while we were away on vacation. She communicated clearly throughout our trip, including letting us know if her arrival times needed to shift. She quickly won Ruby over with plenty of playtime, snuggles, and attention, which gave us real peace of mind. She also went above and beyond to water our plants during the heat wave which we really appreciated. We came home to a happy, well-cared-for cat. What an absolutely lovely person. She did a wonderful job sitting my cat while I was away. She sent daily pics and updates. What I would also like to mention is when she came over for the initial visit my dog was here. She was severely abused by her previous owner and does not do well with strangers. The minute Kimberly walked in my house my dog acted like Kimberly was her long lost friend. Ive never seen her react like that to a stranger. Animals are good judges of character. I would recommend Kimberly, and I plan on using her services in the future.
Lindsay is the best! I can tell my kitties loved her, because they usually make themselves pretty scarce when they have pet sitters, but Lindsay has tons of photos of them. She also went pretty far out of her way to make a visit happen when an unexpected neighborhood festival made my home pretty tough to get to. Lindsay will really go the extra mile for furbabies!
