About: My name is Ivette and I currently study at Case. My husband is a USPS mail carrier and I work from home. Currently, I have one dog and two rescue cats🐾. During the pandemic, I spent a significant amount of time with my pets indoors where I had the opportunity to take care of two litters that my dogs had. I learned many skills during that time. With age, my dog became a senior dog and had to take oral medication so I am used to giving oral/topical medication to pets. I have been living in the Cleveland area since 2019 but I am originally from Texas. My current home has a fenced back yard and a good route for walks. Beyond caring for my own dogs, I volunteer with a local animal shelter for a “Dogs Day Out” program where I take shelter dogs on outside to provide socialization, exercise and enrichment. These experiences alone have strengthened my understanding of dogs with many personalities and needs, allowing me to provide compassionate, attentive, and reliable care for every pet I get to meet. :) I work in the emergency department, so my schedule varies, but my partner and I live together so generally when I am not home he is there, and vice versa. When I’m not at work, I will spend all my time with your pet, taking them on walks, to dog parks, to get pup cups, etc, whatever you as the owner allow or prefer! I have a fenced in yard at my home, so dogs can be off leash to exercise, use the potty, and play time. During their stay in my home, they are welcome to be free roaming, not in crates, unless owners would prefer crates.

About: I’ve managed a horse farm for 5 years and have had a lot of experience with training dogs as well as horses. Proficient in basic first aid, behavioral patterns and positive reinforcement training. I have a part time job with flexible hours so therefore I can be available often as well as provide reliable and repetitive services as needed. I live in an apartment so constant supervision is a requirement as well a multiple walks per day. Exercise is a requirement as well in my home.

I will admit I had a lot of anxiety about leaving my 16 yo pup for 6 days but I knew I was leaving him with people who care about dogs. They were so aware of my dogs needs because he is not a dog who likes dogs he prefers humans. So he was kept away from the the active dog area and he did very well. He ate his food which is iffy if he is away, he drank water which is rare, and he even started getting use to the other pups. I am so happy he adjusted and came out of his shell. I just moved back to Cleveland and I’m so happy I found a place he feels comfortable in so I can get some more trips in. Oh and I got updates and that helped ease my mind in a big way.
Colleen was a great sitter, and Peaches was great with my dogs! Great communication before and during the stay - she sent several photos and updates which was very appreciated! I also appreciated her flexibility on pickup time when I ended up being a bit later than anticipated.
Travis was great with my dogs. Our Flight back was delayed. He was very understanding of the situation and thoughtful. My dogs seemed to have had a great time with him, they were great spirts and excited when I arrived. This is my second time using Travis and I will definitely use him again.
Another wonderful stay for my pups. This was the first longer stay for my pup, Teddy and he can be nervous with new people. Seeing pictures of him playing with the other pups and cuddling with Susan and Jason made me so happy. I am so grateful to have found such a wonderful sitter for my two dogs.
Our pup Charlie was in great hands with Alyssa and her crew for the last 10 days. From the start, Alyssa was responsive, communicative, and made us feel completely at ease while we were away. She shared frequent updates, photos, and videos, which gave us real peace of mind. It was obvious Charlie was getting plenty of attention, exercise, and playtime, and he looked happy and well cared for throughout his stay. We came home to a relaxed, healthy pup, and we’re so grateful for the care he received. We wouldn’t hesitate to leave Charlie with Alyssa again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring to watch their dog.
Ivette was so incredible with my senior dog! She updated me about how he was doing including potty breaks, meals, and medications. He has special needs and she was very accommodating for all of my requests and went above and beyond with making him at home and comfortable. We appreciate that she was very helpful and flexible with some changes to our itinerary. Eich was very happy when we picked him up! I'm a very anxious pet parent and am always nervous leaving Eich but felt very comfortable that he was well taken care of. We highly recommend Ivette!
