Originally from Australia, I live in Cleveland Hts with my husband, who is employed locally. I have worked as a registered nurse and a piano teacher. I usually I prefer to board one dog at a time so that they receive all my attention and have lots of fun. Two to three dogs who know each other is also fine. I am home all day except for short excursions. I have owned many pets including cats, rabbits and dogs. My 13-year-old Papillon, Bob, passed away six months ago, and while I do not have a dog of my own at present, I enjoy caring for other people’s dogs (and other pets) very much. House-trained small to medium non-aggressive dogs suit me best. I have looked after a variety of breeds, including rescues, and I am especially good with shy, timid dogs prone to separation anxiety. All my dogs are allowed to roam freely in the living room and all receive at least one good walk per day in a dog-friendly area, depending on how much exercise they require. In addition, I have a fenced-in backyard where they receive supervised exercise. At night, my special boarders sleep by the side of my bed, or on the bed if they are allowed.
