Dogs have always been part of my life and my family. I am retired now, so my schedule is very flexible. My husband and I lead an active lifestyle and will make sure your dog is taken care of like family. We have a large backyard with access from a doggy door. We will keep you posted with photos and feedback on a daily basis. We have raised all breeds over our years as dog owners and have been blessed with wonderful senior rescues. Since my husband and I are both retired we are very flexible in our schedules and should be able to accommodate any timeframe that is needed. Our backyard is spacious and fenced in. There is access through a doggy door if that is negotiable for your dog. It can also be blocked if if required. We are very close to a beautiful park, which is wonderful for some nice long walks. We recently lost our 10 year old bull terrier to cancer and so our house feels empty without our beloved Walter. We will make sure your furry friend feels like family.

Tove & Gerry are the best. Our 10 year old Golden Doodle Marley had only been boarded once in her life. From the first minute that she walked into their home Marley was comfortable. They took great care of her, sent updates and pictures and cared for her like she was their own. Tove even slept with Marley one night when her tummy wasn’t feeling great. You couldn’t ask for two more wonderful people to watch your little one.
Tove & Gerald took the most wonderful care of our dog. They kept us updated with photos the whole time & kept our dog busy, happy, and well-loved while we were gone. Our dog was so happy with them that she was truly reluctant to leave when we picked her up!
Tove and Jerry were amazing with our dog! Leo is a bit shy and takes some warming up. Tove and Jerry were very patient with him and let him warm up to them on his own. Their house had a great setup and Leo loved going in and out of the doggy door. Tove kept us very updated and we knew Leo was in great hands. By the end of the trip I don’t think Leo wanted to come home! Would highly recommend Tove and Jerry to anyone looking for a Rover. Thank you Tove and Jerry!
This was my first time leaving Kylie with anyone other than family in her 12 years of life. I was nervous but Tove and Jerry took such great care of her, I almost think she was sad to come back home! They sent daily updates and lots of pictures. They treated her like a princess. Plenty of walks and tons of love. You can rest easy knowing your pet is well taken care of at their home. Thank you both so much!!

They watched our energetic dog and he had a great time! We got plenty of pictures/ updates, and Tove bought extra treats for my dog when I accidentally shorted him a few cups for his last day! It was such a relief knowing our dog was in great hands! Would definitely recommend booking them for your needs

A typical day
I love going for long walks in our many metro parks and can happily take your dog to their favorite sniffing and stomping grounds. If they prefer just playing in the backyard i can easily accommodate that also.
