About: My name is Ivette and I currently study at Case. My husband is a USPS mail carrier and I work from home. Currently, I have one dog and two rescue cats🐾. During the pandemic, I spent a significant amount of time with my pets indoors where I had the opportunity to take care of two litters that my dogs had. I learned many skills during that time. With age, my dog became a senior dog and had to take oral medication so I am used to giving oral/topical medication to pets. I have been living in the Cleveland area since 2019 but I am originally from Texas. My current home has a fenced back yard and a good route for walks. About: I’ve grown up with a cat my entire life. He is a bit shy and frisky for new people so I am definitely experienced with both extroverted, and more introverted cats. What sets me apart is my lifelong experience caring for animals and the amount of attention and care I give to every pet. I’ve been around all types of pets growing up and understand that every cat has a different personality, comfort level, and routine. Whether a cat is playful and social or more shy and independent, I’m patient and attentive to what makes them feel safest and most comfortable. I grew up with a Bichon who is now 12 years old and living with my mom in Columbus Ohio. I am a graduate student at the Cleveland institute of music and within my schedule have breaks and long blocks of time where I can go to hangout with, check in on, walk, and feed pets :) I’m almost always available to spend the night and take care of them in the morning before setting off for my day. The longest I would need to leave a dog alone would be 5-6 at most, but that would be rare. Most often, it would be 3-4 hours or less :) I always appreciate when pet parents create a list for me of things I need to know so I can continue to reference it throughout my time caring for their pet until I get to know the dog super well! I am careful to keep dangerous or toxic things off floors and out of reach, I ensure that small dogs have easy access to higher couches or beds (as long as pet parents allow this), I clean and refill their water bowl every morning and wash their food bowls. I will give your dog lots of love and cuddles and pets and attention and time outside and exercise and plenty of treats!

“Seymour is my shadow at home and we were nervous how he would do with the separation anxiety of a week away from us. He had an absolute BLAST staying with Tongyezhi and her family. He got walks, romps in the fenced in back yard and plenty of snuggle time. We got lots of incredible pictures which was great peace of mind knowing we didn't have to worry about him missing home. Tongyezhi is the absolute best and we will always go to her for any future boarding.”
“Karin took great care with my 5 month old puppy, sent photos and was great at communicating what Daisy was doing. It was nice that her dog got along with the puppy and she had a great backyard for the dog to run and play. You can tell that her and her husband love dogs. “Mike and his family (2-legged and 4-legged) are wonderful. It was my first experience using Rover and Mike is a wonderful representative for your company. They cared for my new rescue Ronnie who is very timid. Mike has a wonderful fenced-in backyard where Ronnie enjoyed romping with Mike's dogs Pickle and Snoopy his home is very dog-friendly, comfortable, and cozy and Ronnie made himself right at home. I received daily photos which gave me the reassurance that Ronnie was enjoying wonderful care. I even remarked to Mike that I hoped Ronnie would want to come home with me. “Angel was fantastic! She was easy to work with, highly communicative, and Walt came back happy and well cared for. She gave daily updates with lots of photos so I always knew how Walt was doing. He can be a little anxious but settled in really well. Angel was also very flexible with pick up and drop off times when our plans changed. Would definitely use Angel again!”
