About: My name is Ivette and I currently study at Case. My husband is a USPS mail carrier and I work from home. Currently, I have one dog and two rescue cats🐾. During the pandemic, I spent a significant amount of time with my pets indoors where I had the opportunity to take care of two litters that my dogs had. I learned many skills during that time. With age, my dog became a senior dog and had to take oral medication so I am used to giving oral/topical medication to pets. I have been living in the Cleveland area since 2019 but I am originally from Texas. My current home has a fenced back yard and a good route for walks. About: I always loved animals. They come second hand in my life. I always take good care of my pets. I have a dog as well I currently delivery drive and I’m also in school. I work once a week and school once a week as well. That is the only time I have a second room and a porch to separate the pets. I have a gate at my dog as well. I have lots of supplies

He’s new to Rover and doesn’t have the experience to handle unexpected issues yet. My dog got an upset stomach and had diarrhea the first two nights. Dejaun asked for an emergency contact but there wasn’t really anything for them to do as Kai wasn’t actually having an emergency, he just got loose bowels. Im not sure what caused this but think it was possibly from stress because some other dogs were also being boarded and one was acted quite aggressive towards Kai when I dropped him off (though Dejaun had a crate rotation system in place to make sure no fights broke out and everyone could move about safely). Dejaun did eventually go to the store to buy some pumpkin, bone broth, and goat’s milk to help settle Kai’s stomach after I asked my breeder for advice. When Kai was returned he still smelled like poop so I don’t think he was wiped down very well, but there wasn’t anything obvious stuck to him and Dejaun still took care of him. My one qualm is that Dejaun seemed to make up a $50 fee that was not added by rover, listed on his profile, added when he originally modified the booking request, or discussed during our conversation prior to me confirming the booking. I found that part rather unprofessional and uncomfortable as it was brought up in the middle of the stay while my dog was in his care. I double checked his profile to ensure I hadn’t simply missed it but it was not there so I ignored the request and he didn’t bring it up again. Since he didn’t push for it and continued to be polite in all other interactions, I will give the benefit of the doubt that maybe he forgot he hadn’t disclosed that earlier and upon realizing he let the matter drop quietly. I’m still giving five stars because he took the extra steps of going to the store to hunt down the ingredients for Kai’s tummy treatment and provided Kai with good care despite Kai’s unexpected illness.
They are extremely good sitters. I was apprehensive about leaving Lily and she was too but they soon put me at ease with pictures and text updates. I was able to relax when on vacation because I could see she was actually enjoying her stay. They new how to accommodate an older dog.
Our pup Charlie was in great hands with Alyssa and her crew for the last 10 days. From the start, Alyssa was responsive, communicative, and made us feel completely at ease while we were away. She shared frequent updates, photos, and videos, which gave us real peace of mind. It was obvious Charlie was getting plenty of attention, exercise, and playtime, and he looked happy and well cared for throughout his stay. We came home to a relaxed, healthy pup, and we’re so grateful for the care he received. We wouldn’t hesitate to leave Charlie with Alyssa again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring to watch their dog.
Ivette was so incredible with my senior dog! She updated me about how he was doing including potty breaks, meals, and medications. He has special needs and she was very accommodating for all of my requests and went above and beyond with making him at home and comfortable. We appreciate that she was very helpful and flexible with some changes to our itinerary. Eich was very happy when we picked him up! I'm a very anxious pet parent and am always nervous leaving Eich but felt very comfortable that he was well taken care of. We highly recommend Ivette!
she always does such a great job and is so amazing about keeping you in the loop and updated, i was away for about 11 days and i have a puppy and a senior pup and her and Colt (her pup) were such amazing sitters and were so great with both of my pups for the long stay 🐾 🦴 💜
We are so glad to have found Jessa to watch our pups while we went on our trip! It was easy to locate her property, and we loved that there was plenty of space for the dogs to run around - and far enough from any roads to be extra safe. She was friendly, flexible, helpful, and sent us updates & pics, including ones of our dogs cuddling on the couch with her kids 🥹♥️ Only things I would do differently next time would be to ask her for daily pics - there was one day we didn’t get any so the next day I did text and ask for some (not the end of the world, we were occupied on our trip), and to make sure to keep their training collars charged as they were both dead upon pickup (she did charge their trackers). Excellent care overall & our dogs clearly had a great time!
