About: I grew up in a house that was always full of animals and kids, so chaotic and energetic animals do not phase me, and I can adapt well to whatever care plan is needed for your loved one. As an example of this, the last two dogs I cared for were very different personalities. I took care of an elderly 14-year-old Jack Russell, who was a bit blind so would nip on occasion, and needed spoon feeding and consistent potty breaks starting at 6am. Conversely, most recently I did a house-sitting stint for an owner of a rescued 5 yo Pitbull mix that needed almost constant attention and good tiring play. I have also housesat for many cat owners in the past few years of ranging personalities and needs; some needing some attention and play, others just needing food and water topped up, while another needed me to help her clean herself as she couldn't go to the toilet. I know that there are people with strict routines, and I understand that getting an external sitter or a walker can really mess with the structure you are trying to create. I want to help build that, not tear it down. I pride myself in being able to use positive reinforcement as an effective disciplinary method. I do not bribe or abuse the animals entrusted to my care. I work remotely, so I can be very flexible to the needs of you and your animals. In the case of early mornings of 6am and earlier, I would prefer to have the animals stay here or I stay at the clients' residence. I live on the second floor in an apartment building where everyone owns a dog. Having animals stay with me is no problem at all, but there is no yard, so for dogs it would be exclusively dog walking/dog park if they were to stay here. I can be totally flexible in sitting at a clients' home.

“Anthony was great. Allowing someone access to our home and our dogs was something we’ve never done before, Anthony made the entire process a breeze and settled our worries right away. We set up a meet and greet, he was punctual, outgoing, and friendly.. our 2 German shepherds are normally a little weary of strangers, but they welcomed him right away. Anthony and his wife were so thorough with updates, pictures, etc. We scheduled with him for in-home boarding at our home, he visited with them more times than I expected, he walked them both days too. Mike was great for my first time ever having a dog/house sitter. Communications were right on time for each visit with photos and his thoughtful questions based on observed behaviors of my dog. She can be high maintenance at times and Mike did great with giving her meds, adjusting her diet when she goes on a “hunger strike,” and intuitively providing her extra care when necessary due to her anxiety and upset stomach.
