The animal could either stay in my room (upstairs), where I have a safe environment, or in the living room, where a sofa or pet bed will be provided. In my client’s home, I make sure to follow instructions and leave everything as it was before. I make sure to keep it all clean and tidy, and keep my eyes on the pet at all times.
About: I have been house/pet sitting since I was 16. I used to help my mom with her clients and eventually took some on by myself. I have watched dogs and cats with various diets and medical needs. I love sitting on the couch hanging with the pets, taking them on walks or throwing the ball around. I also do light house work while there such as vacuuming and laundry. I work full-time m-f. I am up early every day so a dog can get a walk in while its tolerable. I am fully available on the weekends to hang out with your pet, as well as during the week I do work 8-5, so I can be with your pet(s) outside of this window. I make sure the pet is cared for at the same level an owner would care for a pet. I don't want them to miss their human and I want them to be excited when I come to hang out with them!

Not only did they take incredible care of Artemis, Luna, Gunther, and Tails, but they genuinely spent time with them, got to know their personalities, and kept us updated throughout our trip. We never once had to wonder if our cats were okay because Jay treated them like family. What really impressed us was their attention to detail. They noticed a possible issue with Artemis’s back/spine and took the time to mention it to us so we could bring it up at his next vet visit. That level of care goes far beyond simply showing up to feed pets—it’s the kind of attentiveness that every pet parent hopes for but rarely finds. Our trip itself was chaotic and stressful, but the one thing we never had to worry about was our cats. That peace of mind was priceless.
