“Alicia was amazing with our cats! We had just moved cross country last year and having a stranger take care of your animals can be scary, but from the meet and greet and drop in visits, Alicia was great!! She was very responsive to messages/ questions, had no issues with our alarm and always made sure to arm it, and always sent pictures of the cats and gave us great notes! If you are looking for someone to trust while you are away, I would really give Alicia a try!”

“Natalya is the BEST. So flexible (we are in the middle of a big addition and temporarily don’t even have a front door any more!) and the dogs adore her. Adore. She is our all time favorite dog sitter and we will 100% use her again if she’ll have us.”

“Karen is completely dog oriented. She has many capabilities like dog training and that she is totally a dog person, I feel great about leaving Jesse in her care. She's compassionate towards Jesse and he has certainly fallen in love with her.”

“Colleen is wonderful with our sweet old lady dog, Rascal. She actively engages with Rascal and is attentive to her needs, which is especially important since she has dementia. My wife and I will be using Colleen's services regularly!”

“Kyla took such good care of our cat Bubbles while we were out on vacation for a week! Played with her, fed her, took care of her litterbox and even brushed her! She was also very conscientious about sending updates with pictures after each visit which was great. Highly recommended!”

“No complaints he sent pics of my fur buddies, he even put our FedEx packages in the house, very courteous. Definitely would recommend Redmond to anyone that needs a pet sitter and I will request Redmond again.”

“Zohar took great care of my senior Cat. These visits involved special diet and medication. She kept me up to date with pictures, videos, and messages. We were lucky to find her.”

“Double reviewing because she’s the best! We got stuck in Florida because of a hurricane, and Jay was completely flexible and made sure our kitties were taken care of and safe every step of the way.”
“Elizabeth was great! She was very active with Sadie and actually took the time to walk her. I even saw her running with Sadie once which is awesome! She also accommodated my last minute request so we appreciated that! We will definitely be using her again to watch Sadie.”

“It’s always such a relief knowing someone is there to look after my little buddy — even if he hides under the bed the whole time! Thank you for being there for him to make sure he had everything he needed.”

“I don't trust anyone else with my three cats the attention to detail and the amount of love he give our babies is more then I could have imagined I fully recommend using Paul you will always come home yo happy furry babies.”

“Maria took care of our two cats while we were out of town. One of them is diabetic and requires insulin injections. Maria is amazing! She is very detail-oriented and thorough. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone who needs pet care.”

“Natalie was able to accommodate on short notice. Summer is brutal so she is able to use her best judgment to take our dogs out so they could do their business but brought them inside to cool down and played with them for the remainder of their visit time!”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is something I truly enjoy. As a dog and cat owner, I understand how difficult it can be to leave your pets in someone else's care, which is why I treat every pet as if they were my own. I have over 10 years of experience caring for dogs, cats, and others. I am comfortable with young and senior pets, and those who need extra patience and attention. Whether your pet needs a walk, transportation, or daycare, I am committed to keeping them safe. I carefully follow feeding schedules, medications, and any special instructions to keep your pet safe, healthy, and happy. I also provide regular updates, photos, and quick communication so you can have peace of mind while you're away. My goal is to build a genuine bond with your pet and provide loving, reliable care you can trust. I look forward to becoming someone you can trust whenever your pet needs care! Fluent in English, Spanish, and Russian. Flexible rates. I am currently only working 4 times a week from home, meaning that I am open and available to take care of your furry friends and provide them with the care and time they deserve. In my home, I don’t have any animals besides a hamster, who is always locked up in her cage. I have a fenced yard and no toxic chemicals or plants that your pet could eat. The animal could either stay in my room (upstairs), where I have a safe environment, or in the living room, where a sofa or pet bed will be provided. In my client’s home, I make sure to follow instructions and leave everything as it was before. I make sure to keep it all clean and tidy, and keep my eyes on the pet at all times.

About: I have been house/pet sitting since I was 16. I used to help my mom with her clients and eventually took some on by myself. I have watched dogs and cats with various diets and medical needs. I love sitting on the couch hanging with the pets, taking them on walks or throwing the ball around. I also do light house work while there such as vacuuming and laundry. I work full-time m-f. I am up early every day so a dog can get a walk in while its tolerable. I am fully available on the weekends to hang out with your pet, as well as during the week I do work 8-5, so I can be with your pet(s) outside of this window. I make sure the pet is cared for at the same level an owner would care for a pet. I don't want them to miss their human and I want them to be excited when I come to hang out with them!
About: I have grown up with both cats and dogs and am a huge animal lover. I currently have a 1- year-old German Shorthair Pointer and she is the light of my life. I have experience taking care of dogs of all ages and sizes. I will treat your fur baby with the utmost care and ensure they are happy and comfortable during my visits! I have summers off from my current job, so I am free all summer. While it is true this is a way for me to earn extra income, taking care of pets gives me joy and is something I truly enjoy doing. I treat each customer's home with respect and care. I will communicate with the pet parent and ensure they feel confident in the services I provide.
Spring Valley cat parents share their Rover experiences
Ashley was absolutely phenomenal caring for my pets while I was away for a week. Leaving your babies behind is never easy, but she made the entire experience stress-free. She was reliable, communicative, and clearly treated my pets as if they were her own (even when Figaro got a little spicy). Ashley kept me updated with messages and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was traveling. When I returned home, my pets were happy, relaxed, and well cared for, and everything was exactly as it should be. It’s obvious that Ashley genuinely loves animals and takes great pride in providing excellent care. I couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter, and I would trust her with my babies again in a heartbeat. I highly recommend Ashley to anyone looking for someone dependable, caring, and attentive to care for their pets!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ JAY IS AN ABSOLUTE LEGEND. 💙 This was our first time leaving our four cats in someone else’s care, and as anxious cat parents, we were honestly nervous. The moment we met Jay, we knew our babies were in good hands—and somehow they exceeded every expectation we had. Not only did they take incredible care of Artemis, Luna, Gunther, and Tails, but they genuinely spent time with them, got to know their personalities, and kept us updated throughout our trip. We never once had to wonder if our cats were okay because Jay treated them like family. What really impressed us was their attention to detail. They noticed a possible issue with Artemis’s back/spine and took the time to mention it to us so we could bring it up at his next vet visit. That level of care goes far beyond simply showing up to feed pets—it’s the kind of attentiveness that every pet parent hopes for but rarely finds. Our trip itself was chaotic and stressful, but the one thing we never had to worry about was our cats. That peace of mind was priceless. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, communicative, compassionate, observant, and genuinely passionate about animals, stop scrolling and book Jay immediately. We’ll absolutely be booking with them again. In fact, I think our cats might be disappointed when it’s us walking through the door next time instead of Jay. 😂 Thank you for loving our babies like they were your own. We are endlessly grateful. 🌈🐱💙

Jason dropped in again daily for our cat while we were out of town for 9 days. He was flexible and understanding when we had a hiccup in our travel plans. Our cat sat on his lap, which is obviously a big deal. He goes extra lengths to make us and the cat more comfortable while we are way.
