“Jay was the perfect sitter for Scott. It was a pretty last-minute set, and Jay came before I left to get the run of Scott’s eating schedule. Jason sent lots of photos and even a video to help me feel at ease. That was my first use of Rover and I am super happy with Jay.”

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats since I was 14 years of age. This also includes fish and exotic pet care (birds and rodents)! I currently work part-time, and so I am available most evenings and weekends. I can even petsit during holidays as I am often free. This fits my schedule as I just have a bit too much free time than I think necessary. I have a fenced yard for my husky and my roommate's dog. I have two cats of my own that I clean their litter weekly. Feed and give water to them daily. I often hang around my cats in the office while I am working, and we snuggle when it's bedtime. As for dogs, when my husky was a puppy I taught her how to sit and laydown, take her out for walks currently and do play with her. She's spoiled with treats.
About: Hello potential client, If you decide to connect with me, you’ll be happy to know that I love staying in touch with you with pictures and videos of your pet. I take great care in making sure you are as comfortable with me as your pet is. I love taking the animals to the beach or downtown if that’s what they like. My strong suit is in communication. I’m very flexible. and consider it an honor to take care of someone’s beloved animal. Thank you :) I tend to be all in when I take on a pet sitting job. Meaning I don’t take on anything else while I’m taking care of your pet. My schedule is open. I tend to stay very focused on the pet I’m sitting for and nothing else I tend to stay at my clients home. That being the case I will abide by their routine and stick with whatever rules they have. In terms of staying at the house. I highly respect other people’s home and space. I make sure to keep it clean and organized and truly want my clients to be happy

About: Hello! I have been a Rover pet sitter in San Diego for the past 7 years. I just moved to Las Vegas and I am looking forward to meeting and caring for new 4-legged friends! At this time, I am offering house-sitting in the owner's home, dog walking and drop-ins. (I am temporarily in an apartment and will resume dog boarding when I find my own new home.) I grew up with dogs including golden retrievers, labs, and bull mastiffs. I absolutely love them all! I can't have one of my own because I travel for work and I couldn't bear to leave one in a kennel over and over, so Rover is perfect for me - I'd love to spoil your dog(s) when my schedule allows, and get my dog fix at the same time! When I was a kid, our family found an injured dog in the woods. We brought her home and nursed her back to health. I've been in love with dogs ever since. I was responsible for our labs while I was growing up: feeding, walking, playing and exercising them. The second I'm able to get my own pup, I will. In the meantime, I will love your pets every moment they are with me and I will keep them happy, safe and wagging their tails! *Update: I have been a 5-star Rover sitter since 2019. Absolutely love it! I am a loving, caring, responsible and honest pet sitter. I do require a meet & greet as well as pets that are already house-trained. I cannot care for aggressive, loud animals that haven’t been trained to interact with humans. I work from home (or travel for work) so if I am house-sitting at your home, I can be with your pets all day long. They will get lots of love and attention! For walks and drop-in's, I have a flexible schedule and can accommodate most schedules starting mid-morning. I love animals and will give your babies tons of affection and attention, plus all of their needs - meals, walks, medications, assistance for elderly or disabled pets, etc. They will be the center of my world while in my care!

“Drew took such amazing care of our babies! It was a huge relief knowing she was stopping in and helping while we had a busy work week. Our dogs love her and we do too, we will absolutely have her back in the future and I highly recommend her!”

“Thank the universe for Rachel! She is super responsive and SUPER on top of everything! She went above and beyond for my two kitties and I’m so thankful.”

About: I grew up with animals from dogs to guinea pigs. I have experience with owning and caring for a pet. I have the space and recourses to board or pet sit. I would love to care for your fur baby. I am free during day all week. I have an open schedule Saturday, Sunday and Monday. I have time to care for pets whether it is giving scheduled medications or just to be walked and played with. My backyard is completely closed with concrete wall. I do allow pets in my house. The pet will have easy access in and out of the house.

About: My parents have always had a pet. I have been around my pets or friends' pets my entire life. Since 2013, I have had the privilege of being a private dog-sitter in the Ann Arbor, MI area. However, I have recently moved to Las Vegas, and I am looking to continue the rewarding job that is dog-sitting. I am comfortable walking and feeding your dog. Depending on the process, I can also give any prescribed medication. If you own more than one pet, I have plenty of experience with multi-pet households. I work from home, so I can be around as much as needed to ensure your loved one has a pleasant experience while you are away. Before booking, I always appreciate a meet and greet with you and your dog to help establish a bond with them. I take pride in my ability to bond with pets and follow any and all instructions left by owners. When you are away for whatever reason, you can trust that your pet is being taken care of in a loving, responsible manner. I work as an online tutor, so I can be at your home morning, afternoon, and evening. I can also set my schedule to allow for walks or breaks your dog needs and give them the attention they need throughout the day. Your dog's safety and your home's security are my top priorities. I will keep a watchful eye on your dog and follow any instructions you provide. I enjoy providing you regular updates on your dog. I can also only contact you in case of emergency and everything in between. I will clean up after myself and your dog and will do laundry if needed. I am a guest in your home, and I will treat it with respect and leave it as I found it.
About: I am a dog owner myself, which means I know how much you love your baby and have their best interests at heart. I will take care of your pup as if it was my own! My schedule is very flexible, leaving plenty of time to serve your pups needs. Whether it may be feeding, walking, or sitting, your pup will be in good hands! Your house, your rules! I will attentively listen to any rules or concerns regarding your fur baby to ensure all their needs are met and they are well taken care of.
“Nikola is the best Banni sitter ever. She’s very sweet, loving and communicates everything. We get lots of updates, and pictures and helps to set up for next day. I have a peace of mind when I leave my Bunny at home when I travel. She’s very professional and someone you can really count on…..”

Lordyn was absolutely fantastic, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience! She kept me updated with messages and photos after every visit, which gave me real peace of mind knowing Aspen was happy, well cared for, and getting plenty of attention. Her communication was excellent, and it was obvious she genuinely cared about Aspen's well-being rather than just checking a box. It's never easy leaving your dog, but Lordyn made the entire process stress-free. I came home to a happy, healthy pup, and I wouldn't hesitate to book her again. I highly recommend Lordyn to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and communicative pet sitter!

Matthew is an amazing dog walker. He is attentive to specific needs of our dog and caters his time with her to best suit her. He is always on time and spends the full length of time with her. He sends plenty of photos along with a report of how his time with her was spent. He truly loves dogs and working with them to help them grow.

Chris and his fiancé were absolutely amazing and such a life saver on short notice. They were incredibly kind, patient, and understanding with Benjamin, who is still adjusting and can be a bit difficult when left alone. Benjamin warmed up to them right away, which speaks volumes about how caring and trustworthy they are. They were super understanding of Benjamin’s needs and took such great care of him. I truly appreciated the communication and patience. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate pet sitter.

Callie did so good on her drop in visit with Kyle! It was our first time leaving our puppy alone with someone else and we were super nervous. But she did an amazing job watching Kyle. She sent pictures and her communication was perfect. I would definitely recommend Callie to watch over your pet and will be using her again! Already looking forward to her helping us out more the next few weeks.

Laurie B is a gem! As a first-time user of the app and a new puppy parent, I was feeling a bit overwhelmed—but Laurie made everything easy. From the very beginning, she went out of her way to help me navigate the app and offered helpful tips and best practices to ensure a smooth experience. She was incredibly patient with both me and my energetic puppy, always checking in, asking thoughtful clarifying questions, and keeping communication open and clear. Her kindness, professionalism, and calm presence made a big difference—and most importantly, my puppy loved her. Laurie is the kind of sitter you hope to find: attentive, reliable, and genuinely caring. I can’t recommend her enough. Thank you, Laurie!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
