“Sierra loves animals as much as I do, is prompt with our walking schedule, and is willing to go the extra mile. I couldn't recommend her enough if you're in need of her services. She's welcome to take care of my Eva for as long as she's willing.”

“Karen has only been walking my 3 pups for 2 weeks but I can’t say enough about her communication, promptness and thoughtfulness. I trust her implicitly with my fur babies and they absolutely LOVE Karen.”

I know I can ensure your pet will be comfortable and safe! Im open to any availability! My schedule is flexible and im willing to make things work. I make jewelry, so i like to fit pet care within my schedule! I will be sure to have an understanding for each pet individually as just like humans they are all unique in their own way. I will provide open communication with pet parents and care for them as if they were one of mine!

About: Hi! I’m Blake, a dog mom and dog-food nerd who loves turning pups into part of the family while their humans are away. I work from home most days, so your dog will get plenty of attention, supervision, and cuddles—not just a few quick potty breaks. I’m calm, patient, and very tuned in to dog body language, so shy or sensitive pups are absolutely welcome. I also run a small treat business called Clumsy Chef 🐾 (inspired by my own spoiled pup), where I focus on simple, high-quality ingredients, check us out at: clumsy-chef.square.site What I’m Like as a Sitter I treat guest dogs like my own: lots of praise, play, and gentle structure Tons of photo & video updates so you never have to wonder how your dog is doing Comfortable with basic meds in food (if needed and instructed) Great for dogs who like a quieter, cozy environment vs. a chaotic, crowded daycare Currently working from home as a founder called Clumsy Chef, your pup's private chef. Quite a flexible schedule on weekdays, however some days I do need to be in the lab, so do pm me for scheduling! I I don’t have yard, but I can take your fur baby on walk in our neighborhood garden and there’s a dog park near by as well!
“Colleen agreed to talk our dogs for a walk when I had a sudden conflict, and I am so grateful for her! She sent pictures and was very professional. I definitely recommend her!”

“Natalie was amazing! I went out of town for a couple of days and she made sure I was worry free the whole time by updating me and send pictures of my pet. Marlie looked so happy every time I saw a picture. I would highly recommend Natalie for all of your dogs needs.”

“Kaylee is amazing, we were so comfortable leaving our high energy 10 mnth old with her. She was confident and caring and gave us absolute confidence that she was the right fit for us.”

“Nicole was on time and friendly. I’m solo parenting for a couple of days and needed the extra help walking atlas. Nicole was quick to reply to my request. Would hire again”

About: I am very serious about providing the best services for you and your pets. Pets are family. It is important to me that you are comfortable leaving your pets in my care. I love walking, running and playing with animals. I have experience with walking dogs, staying overnight and drop in visits. I am ready for anything; from throwing a ball, to playing frisbee in the park, to bath time, cuddling, to those much needed belly rubs and more. When I was younger my house was always filled with pets of all types. At one point we had two dogs, three cats, gerbils, hamsters, a rabbit and a chameleon. Right now I live in an apartment so we only have one cat. Her name is Fellini and she has quite the personality. As for recent experience, I spent about a week watching 4 cats for clients in their home. One of their cats had health problems and I had to administer medicine in her ear twice a day. I always made sure that cat was comfortable with me so I could give her the medicine. They had a strict diet and feeding schedule that I had no problem following. I also watch dogs (Rin & Sparrow) for a couple whenever they go on vacation or take out of town work. A typical day would include checking in on them in the mornings. Making sure that they had plenty of fresh water, and food. On occasion I would give them treats and make sure they had bathroom breaks. I would play with them by throwing a toy and keep them company for a while before I would come back at night to check in on them again. I would love the opportunity to meet you and your pets. Please feel free to contact to me if there is anything I can do for you.

“Natalie was amazing with Odin I really needed someone who can handle his energy and keep him separated from other dogs she was very kind and overall did the best she could to accommodate me and my dogs needs I will definitely be using her again! Thank you again!”
About: I love animals so much that I went to veterinary school. I had the opportunity of working directly with licensed veterinarians for an entire year, in a small animal medicine clinic. This experience helped me provide attentive care and recognize when a pet might need extra attention. I'm comfortable with monitoring pets 🐶🐱 for signs of illness or stress, giving medications if needed, caring for pets with different temperaments and needs, and providing calm, patient care for nervous or shy animals. Whether your pet needs walks, drop-in visits, playtime, or companionship while you're away, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I'm in the process of studying for my boards to become a licensed veterinarian. 🙂 Don't be alarmed! I made sure to set aside time throughout the week from studying to do what I love and that's caring for your fur baby. I am mostly available Thursday, Friday and Saturday. I’m a parent to my five-year-old cat, Amorie, so I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. You can rest assured your fur babies will be treated with the same love, patience, and care as if they were my own. I assist in pet care for cats and dogs. (Walks, in-home sitting) Be sure to inform me of patient's medical history and temperaments, and leave detailed instructions to ensure great service.
About: Very respectful of owners wishes/requests. I will never leave your dog alone! Extremely flexible schedule/works from home, loves outdoors and exercising with pets. Doors open all day for dogs to run in and out of the contained yard. Live close to a dog friendly hiking trail. Perfectly! As mentioned, I work from home and love the company! I am always around to tend to your pets inside or out. Routinely hike a local trail with all pets. I will never leave your pet alone! I have a contained yard and a neighbor with a pup who loves to come say hello! Also, always multiple people on premises for full time accompanying. If sleeping on the bed is permitted by the owner, I love it! But all to the owners discretion.
About: You name it, I’ve probably had it. Ferrets, guinea pigs, hamsters, chickens… at this point I was basically running a tiny petting zoo. I currently have two dogs of my own, and my parents somehow turned their house into an animal convention with seven dogs and cats combined. I grew up surrounded by animals and honestly treat them more like family than pets. I’m available on weekends and holidays! During the week, I work a standard 9-to-5 schedule! I walk my boys before I leave and as soon as I get home, it’s the first thing I do. My only request is to be informed in advance if your pet might be having an off day. Otherwise, I’m happy to engage in light outdoor play if there’s a backyard available. If it’s too hot, we’ll stick to indoor activities—and with this heat, I avoid daytime walks unless your pup has protective shoes.
“High recommend for weekly walk and walks in general! 😃 Maggie has been great. Her cards are very detailed and I love that as I’m unable to observe my dogs when I’m at work. She’s very caring, patience, and provides great communication. If you need your dogs to get the walks in when you’re at work, please book her! You won’t regret this, I promised. ❤️😊”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Spring Valley
What stood out about Lordyn was how naturally she loved on Mango. I never had to ask her to give extra attention or affection. She just did it because that’s who she is. When I looked back at my camera afterward, I saw her constantly giving Mango pets, talking to her, and making sure she felt human connection and love that every dog deserves. As someone who worries about leaving their dog behind too long, that meant a lot to me. You can tell she’s a true animal lover, not someone who’s just there to check the boxes. If you’re looking for someone who will genuinely care for your dog and make them feel loved while you’re gone, I couldn’t recommend Lordyn more. I feel incredibly lucky to have found her, and I know Mango can’t wait to see her again.

Karen was available on short notice to drop in, feed, potty, and walk our puppy. She was always on time and he was very well taken care of! Being a puppy that’s still learning, we appreciate her experience in dog training as we knew he’d be in good hands. We’d highly recommend Karen and plan to use her again!

Amelinda does a great job with my dog Buster. While I’m off working, it’s been nice to know that Amelinda comes twice a day to walk and hang out with my dog to make sure he does his buisness and doesn’t get lonely! She makes sure to capture their walks and gives me full reports. I trust her with my dog and making sure he’s living his best life!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
