About: Experience with senior dogs that need more special attention due to their diet and medication needs giving them plenty of exercise or playing going on walks and making sure that they get all the attention and love that fur babies need. Currently work part time and available after 2 PM on Monday, Tuesday and Friday. Fully available Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday. I will have plenty of time to take care of all pets needs whether it’s check-ins, housesitting, walks, feeding and even baths if needed. This all depends on clients wishes and what the fur babies need will be based off of clients comfortability with me being in their own space. My general rule is making sure I leave space(s) clean and respecting others homes and boundaries due to me being a guest and being respectful of property and the safety of pets and fur babies.

“Natalie was amazing with Odin I really needed someone who can handle his energy and keep him separated from other dogs she was very kind and overall did the best she could to accommodate me and my dogs needs I will definitely be using her again! Thank you again!”

About: I have taken care of my own dogs as well as others' fur babies. I give them the same rights as my own dogs. I want to make them feel like they are at home away from home.. comfortable, playful, and loved. My husband and I are always home! Our jobs are remote, so we have ample time to be with your fur babies. If you need flexibility, I can easily work with your schedule. I have a fenced back yard, and 2 of my own dogs to keep yours company. I allow my own dogs on the furniture, and yours will be too. I can accommodate if your dog likes/needs to be crated. I am always home, so you don't have to worry about your pet being home alone too long. I have a large german shepherd mix who is always welcoming. I also have a senior chihuahua mix, who likes to keep to herself. Your pets will always be under supervision and meet and greets are welcome, so you can feel assured that your pet will be safe with me.
“What stood out about Lordyn was how naturally she loved on Mango. I never had to ask her to give extra attention or affection. She just did it because that’s who she is. When I looked back at my camera afterward, I saw her constantly giving Mango pets, talking to her, and making sure she felt human connection and love that every dog deserves. As someone who worries about leaving their dog behind too long, that meant a lot to me. You can tell she’s a true animal lover, not someone who’s just there to check the boxes. If you’re looking for someone who will genuinely care for your dog and make them feel loved while you’re gone, I couldn’t recommend Lordyn more. I feel incredibly lucky to have found her, and I know Mango can’t wait to see her again.”

“Colleen agreed to talk our dogs for a walk when I had a sudden conflict, and I am so grateful for her! She sent pictures and was very professional. I definitely recommend her!”

“Karen is an amazing asset to have in your back pocket!! She has worked wonders with my chihuahua Nacho who has never been with a stranger alone before. Karen also has a big fan out of Bella, my mom’s shitzu. Bella actually whined yesterday after Karen left our condo!! Bella didn’t want her to leave. And this is only her 3rd day walking them!! She was also very patient and gracious with me since I was unfamiliar with the app and how to edit. Very grateful we found her!!”
“Fantastic walker. Great communication. Walks my 11 week old that just got 2nd set vaccines and still needs third set in 4 weeks. She listened to my instructions to keep pup away from regularly walked areas of my condos. Plays with her. Really great with dogs. I felt safe entrusting the life of my puppy to her. I have her on repeat!”

“Sierra loves animals as much as I do, is prompt with our walking schedule, and is willing to go the extra mile. I couldn't recommend her enough if you're in need of her services. She's welcome to take care of my Eva for as long as she's willing.”

“Redmond was an amazing dog sitter! He communicated really well the entire time, kept me updated, and made me feel comfortable knowing my dog was in good hands. Reliable and easy to work with”

“Alicia has been walking my dog consistently for a few months. She has been so awesome! Completely reliable and communicative about schedules. She hasn’t canceled ONCE!! She’s sends photos of walks and has followed all instructions on feedings. We love her!”

“Jill was amazing with my two babies! She was professional and very friendly. She took such great care of them. I felt comfortable they were in good hands. She was super accommodating with my schedule. I really appreciated all she did. Will definitely book with her again.”

About: I’ve been caring for Bella for the past 4 years and Milo since October of last year. I’ve also grown up with dogs since I was about 5 years old, so caring for pets has always been a part of my life. From daily walks and playtime to feeding, cleaning up, and making sure they feel safe and loved, I understand how important it is to treat every pet like family. I know every pet has their own personality, and I always take the time to make sure they’re comfortable and well cared for. I work full-time in the evenings, so I’m available for morning and early afternoon walks and drop-in visits on most days. I’m fully available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and always do my best to be flexible. I’ll make sure your pet gets plenty of love, attention, and care while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I’ll follow your pet’s routine, feeding schedule, and any special instructions you provide. I always take the time to help pets feel comfortable and cared for while respecting your home as if it were my own. I’m patient, reliable, and will keep you updated with photos and messages during each visit.
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my experience in taking care of animals. I was raised in a rural area, where all we have is animals. I would pet sit for my neighbors when they were gone for vacation. I also have have experience in taking care of animals that need more assistance. I would give them their medicine when scheduled too and made sure they were always comfortable. I would mostly take care of dogs, so I would take them for the daily walk, potty breaks, and play time. I have experience taking care of chickens, guinea pigs, horses, and goats. I would also brush and bathe them. It fits in my weekly routine because I have a part time job, and I've always had a passion for animals. I like switching it up for me because I someday want to pursue a career in pet industry. I care for pets by preparing everything they need. This includes, water, food, toys, walks, and making sure they take their proper medications if needed.

About: Hi! I’m Sarah Klopp. I specialize in caring for dogs for over 20+ years. I understand the concern that goes with finding a trustworthy source to care for your pet while you're away. I've worked in a veterinary office, and even under the eyes of professionals, the level of comfort when boarding is lacking. I currently have (1) adopted chihuahua who is gentle and friendly. However, I am occasionally the “go-to friend” for dog sitting needs. I am home all day during the week and am off on weekends. Although manners are applauded, being comfortable often involves their own plush blanket next to me on the couch. Overall, I'm a very patient and loving soul...just looking to share my free time with your fur babies. I work evenings and am home all day with the pups. The time I’m away is usually when the pups are in bed for the night. I let out when I return home and am up bright and early to spend my day with them! I have a fully fenced in brick wall with a shaded back yard. Dependent on the dogs’ needs and training, I can happily use crates when not attended, or I have dog gates to secure your pup in an open space with all the needs while I am away. Dogs will be in own safe space.
“Nicole was on time and friendly. I’m solo parenting for a couple of days and needed the extra help walking atlas. Nicole was quick to reply to my request. Would hire again”

About: From Pet Store Manager, Animal ER Receptionist, to pet sitting the group of 3 dogs, 4 cats and an extravagant fish tank. I have been working with pets almost my entire life. For awhile I wanted to be a veterinarian but after realizing that people only bring sick pets in I decided to jump into pet sitting / dog walking so I could enjoy time with happy pets. Myself? I have a young German Shepherd rescue named Rio. He gets along with every type of creature and has been quite the little adventure buddy. We love taking on new fur friends :) Just recently moved to Fort Collins from Seattle, WA so I'm rebuilding my pet clientele. Currently available any day, any time during the week and weekends. Available for drop in visits, dog walking, and extended pet / house sitting for both cats and dogs. Willing to help with fish and plants too for an extra fee! Pet boarding on a case by case basis. Please contact me for further details.

Matthew is so good with my dog and tires him out with a long jog! My dog even does tricks with Matthew that I didn’t know he could do😊Matthew is trustworthy and reliable. I would definitely recommend him to anyone…especially people that wants their dog to burn off some energy.

Karen was available on short notice to drop in, feed, potty, and walk our puppy. She was always on time and he was very well taken care of! Being a puppy that’s still learning, we appreciate her experience in dog training as we knew he’d be in good hands. We’d highly recommend Karen and plan to use her again!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
