About: I have 2+ years of experience working with dogs and truly love what I do. I’m skilled at reading canine body language, managing group play, and making sure every dog feels safe, happy, and supported. I’m comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments and always prioritize safety, positive interactions, and lots of love. ❤️ I’m currently in college but my program is 100% online. I’m very flexible and I will work around your schedule as best as I can! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine to keep them comfortable and stress-free. I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication, and any special needs. I pay close attention to canine body language and behavior to ensure pets feel safe and supported, especially in a familiar environment. I also provide plenty of affection, enrichment, and supervision while keeping the home tidy and secure. My goal is for every pet to feel relaxed, happy, and well cared for while their owners are away!
“Sarah has been extremely helpful, flexible, and patient while caring for my 3 month old puppy through all of the crate and potty training. Cersei is always happy to see her and I know that she is in very capable hands while I’m at work.”

“Sierra loves animals as much as I do, is prompt with our walking schedule, and is willing to go the extra mile. I couldn't recommend her enough if you're in need of her services. She's welcome to take care of my Eva for as long as she's willing.”

About: I’ve loved and cared for animals my entire life. I grew up on a farm, so caring for animals—and yes, even scooping poop! —has always been a normal part of life for me. Since moving to Las Vegas in 2002, I’ve provided pet sitting and dog walking for friends, family, and others throughout the years, and I’m often the person people trust with their pets when they leave town. My experience ranges from helping care for and wean young puppies to providing patient, compassionate care for senior pets as they reach the later stages of life. I’m comfortable with dogs, cats, birds, and other animals, and I understand that every pet has its own personality, routine, and needs. I’ve completed professional pet-sitting and dog-walking certification courses, taken pet CPR training, worked with the Red Cross, volunteered with animal shelters, and have experience with animal photography. I’m also comfortable following detailed feeding routines, administering medications according to your instructions, cleaning litter boxes, handling pet messes, and providing the everyday care that keeps pets comfortable and happy. My professional background in leadership, customer service, marketing, business development, and brand development has made me extremely organized, dependable, and detail oriented. If I arrive exactly on time, I consider myself late—I believe in being early and prepared. Most importantly, I treat every animal in my care as if they were my own. I communicate often, provide photos and updates, document important information, and pay attention to the little things. I want you to feel confident that while you’re away, your pet is receiving loving care, and your home is being treated with respect. Pet care is my full-time job and a priority in my daily routine. I’m an early riser, usually starting my day around 6:00 a.m., and I have flexibility throughout the day for walks, drop-in visits, pet sitting, and other care needs. I’m available seven days a week and am willing to work weekends and holidays. I also understand that plans can change and emergencies happen, so I do my best to be flexible and work with my clients whenever possible. Because this is my full-time focus, I can dedicate the time and attention your pets deserve while keeping their normal routines as consistent as possible. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities. I provide care in your home, where your pets can stay in the familiar environment they know and feel most comfortable in. I do not board pets in my own home. Whether I’m providing an overnight stay, drop-in visit, dog walk, cat or bird care, I carefully follow your instructions for feeding, medications, exercise, routines, and any special needs. I take the time to learn each pet’s personality and never force an interaction with an animal that needs extra time to feel comfortable. I also treat your home with the same respect I would expect someone to show mine. I’m mindful of doors, gates, leashes, keys, security instructions, and keeping your home secure while you’re away. I provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident knowing how your pet is doing. When needed, I can also provide pet transportation to veterinary or grooming appointments. From walks and playtime to litter boxes, feeding, medication, and the less glamorous cleanups, I’m here to make sure your pets are safe, comfortable, loved, and well cared for while you’re away.
About: I’ve been caring for friends/family pets with love and patience for years. I also have 2 cats and a dog of my own. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or overnight stays, I treat every pet like my own! As a freelancer, I have the flexibility to accommodate your pet care needs, whether it’s a regular walk, overnight stay, or last-minute visit. My schedule is adaptable, and I’m happy to work around your specific times, ensuring your pet gets the attention they deserve when you need it most. Your pet’s safety and comfort come first. I provide a calm, secure environment with a fully fenced backyard and a dog park just around the corner. I also have 2 cats and a small dog at home. If I’m staying at your home, I’ll follow your pets routine closely to help them feel safe, relaxed, and loved—just like you’d do yourself.

About: I grew up with dogs around me, I’ve always loved them. I’ve watched dogs for family and friends as well as supported training puppies in my own home and as well as others. I am not a dog trainer but I am very comfortable keeping up with basic tricks and manners :) I am currently looking for some opportunities to make some extra money. I am available during the day pretty consistent with normal work hours, however I can wake up early or stop by late to support your needs! I am currently not able to board or have animals brought into my home but I am looking forward to doing this in the future! I am able to support your pets routine and schedule in the home, as well as give them some extra enrichment and interactions. I will love your fur babies just as much as you guys love them!
About: I grew up surrounded by dogs! They are my weakness. I love to play and spoil them. <3 I am available to take care of babies and seniors. ;) I am a college student attending classes and my schedule is pretty flexible, and I spend much of my free time studying. Caring for a pet, whether through walking, playing, or simply providing companionship has always been something I’ve loved to do! Dog/Cat sitting would be a perfect opportunity for me to combine my love for animals with my desire to stay active. :3 I am responsible, attentive, and patient, ensuring that every dog/cat I care for receives the attention, exercise, and affection they need. Whether it’s taking them on walks, playing their favorite games, or simply keeping them company, I am committed to providing a safe and loving environment! At my dad’s house, I cared for four dogs! When I was there, I am responsible for walking them, ensuring they have access to food and water, and providing medication when needed. I also cuddled with them 24/7. :) My most recent client had three dogs and one cat, who I stayed at their house for seven days. I made sure to feed them, clean up their poops, and love them until their parents come home. Currently I do not have any pets, which makes me the perfect sitter for those dogs who prefer to be an only child. ;D I do have a fenced backyard with plenty of room to play tug of war & fetch with toys.

As a mother of two lovely pugs, pet care is a huge part of my daily routine, and it blends in seamlessly with everything I do. I’ve always had a passion for animals, so whether it's my own pets or others, it feels more like an extension of my lifestyle than a "task." I have just graduated college as a Medical Assistant and looking go back. Unfortunately I do have to save for that so I am doing Rover as a side gig to hopefully help with that. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, my approach is rooted in ensuring the pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved.

I understand the different needs of puppies, adult dogs, and seniors—from gentle care to energetic play and structured walks. I also work as a Realtor here in town, which gives me extremely flexible hours and means I’m very comfortable entering clients’ homes, securing them properly upon leaving, and respecting privacy. I’m confident greeting homeowners and pets and take responsibility seriously. I have a spacious backyard where dogs can safely roam, plus a pool for dogs who enjoy water (with a secure gate to keep it separate if preferred). I genuinely enjoy walking dogs and visiting dog parks, and I do best with friendly, non-aggressive dogs. My focus is always on keeping pets safe, happy, and well cared for.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
