Torri was very conscientious and attentive to our pets' needs from the meet and greet right thru the sitting assignment was completed. He paid attention to details and aimed to please. One of our dogs needs medication daily and special attention. Not only, was he absolutely a gem with our three dogs, he cleaned the guest bedroom, bathroom and laundered linens before he left our house. He was impeccable and we could not be more satisfied. He was a great choice and great fit for our household and dogs. We will not hesitate to use him again in the future and would be happy to provide him with a recommendation whenever necessary. We are so grateful for Torri!!!!!

Munchkin, who is blind, is hesitant being with people other than me. Not the case with Kemoni! At our meet and greet, Munch already had her head resting on Kemoni's knee! While I was gone, I received photos and videos of their adventures...it was such a relief to see them having fun. Highly recommend Kemoni to love on your pet when you're away ♡

Sierra was house sitting our Belgian malinois Ayva. She said right the way that she doesn't have an experience with this type of breed yet. We explained all the details and directions to take while she was here with our dog. It was easy stay with no issues. She sent pictures to us daily to make sure that we know our dog is fine. House was clean as well, which was very important.

About: My parents have always had a pet. I have been around my pets or friends' pets my entire life. Since 2013, I have had the privilege of being a private dog-sitter in the Ann Arbor, MI area. However, I have recently moved to Las Vegas, and I am looking to continue the rewarding job that is dog-sitting. I am comfortable walking and feeding your dog. Depending on the process, I can also give any prescribed medication. If you own more than one pet, I have plenty of experience with multi-pet households. I work from home, so I can be around as much as needed to ensure your loved one has a pleasant experience while you are away. Before booking, I always appreciate a meet and greet with you and your dog to help establish a bond with them. I take pride in my ability to bond with pets and follow any and all instructions left by owners. When you are away for whatever reason, you can trust that your pet is being taken care of in a loving, responsible manner. I work as an online tutor, so I can be at your home morning, afternoon, and evening. I can also set my schedule to allow for walks or breaks your dog needs and give them the attention they need throughout the day. Your dog's safety and your home's security are my top priorities. I will keep a watchful eye on your dog and follow any instructions you provide. I enjoy providing you regular updates on your dog. I can also only contact you in case of emergency and everything in between. I will clean up after myself and your dog and will do laundry if needed. I am a guest in your home, and I will treat it with respect and leave it as I found it.

Gabriella and her husband were absolutely amazing! They watched our dog, Lily, and our cat, Garfield, while we were away, and we couldn’t have asked for better care. They are truly a power couple! They followed every instruction to a T, gave our pets so much love and attention, and kept us completely at ease with daily pictures and updates. It was clear that Lily and Garfield were happy, comfortable, and well cared for the entire time. To top it all off, we came home to a spotless house, with the sheets and towels washed and everything looking wonderful. It’s such a great feeling to return from a trip and know your home and pets were cared for as if they were their own. We highly recommend Gabriella and her husband to anyone looking for reliable, trustworthy, and caring pet sitters. We already have them booked for another weekend!

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats since I was 14 years of age. This also includes fish and exotic pet care (birds and rodents)! I currently work part-time, and so I am available most evenings and weekends. I can even petsit during holidays as I am often free. This fits my schedule as I just have a bit too much free time than I think necessary. I have a fenced yard for my husky and my roommate's dog. I have two cats of my own that I clean their litter weekly. Feed and give water to them daily. I often hang around my cats in the office while I am working, and we snuggle when it's bedtime. As for dogs, when my husky was a puppy I taught her how to sit and laydown, take her out for walks currently and do play with her. She's spoiled with treats.

About: Hi! My name is Lea, and I'm a college student looking to earn extra income while doing something I enjoy caring for animals. I've helped care for my nana's dogs over the years and currently have a cat of my own. I pride myself on being responsible, dependable, and attentive to each pet's individual needs. Whether your pet enjoys playtime, walks, cuddles, or simply having someone keep them company, I'll make sure they feel safe and comfortable while you're away. I understand that pets are family, and I'll treat yours with the same care and respect that I give my own. I'm currently taking online summer classes, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for your pets. I can provide regular walks, feedings, playtime, and lots of attention throughout the day. I love animals and enjoy making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. When caring for pets, I always follow the owner's instructions closely to make sure their pet's routine stays as consistent as possible. I make sure pets have fresh water, are fed on schedule, get plenty of exercise and playtime, and receive lots of attention and affection. When caring for pets in a client's home, I respect both the pet's routine and the owner's space, keeping everything clean and secure. My goal is to help pets feel comfortable, safe, and stress free while their family is away.

About: My name is Drew, 28, and what makes me the best sitter for your fur baby is the level of care and attention I give to every pet! I’ve been the sole caretaker of my sweet girl Luna for 8 years, so I’m very in tune with routines and the small details that keep pets feeling safe and comfortable. I grew up around a variety of animals: dogs, cats, chickens, and pigs so I’m confident handling different personalities, energy levels, and care needs. I’m active and enjoy getting pets the exercise they need, while also providing calm, reliable companionship :) I treat every pet like my own and communicate in whatever way makes you most comfortable, whether that’s frequent updates or just a quick check in-so you always feel at ease while you’re away! I’m excited to meet your little fuzzy! I do this full-time, so I have open and flexible availability throughout the day! I can adjust my schedule to match your pet’s exact routine and needs 🐾 I follow your pets routine, bring baggies for walks, and have a crate if needed. Pets are welcome on furniture for cuddles (if allowed) 🥰 I keep things clean, calm, and stress-free so they feel right at home while you’re away!

About: I am very serious about providing the best services for you and your pets. Pets are family. It is important to me that you are comfortable leaving your pets in my care. I love walking, running and playing with animals. I have experience with walking dogs, staying overnight and drop in visits. I am ready for anything; from throwing a ball, to playing frisbee in the park, to bath time, cuddling, to those much needed belly rubs and more. When I was younger my house was always filled with pets of all types. At one point we had two dogs, three cats, gerbils, hamsters, a rabbit and a chameleon. Right now I live in an apartment so we only have one cat. Her name is Fellini and she has quite the personality. As for recent experience, I spent about a week watching 4 cats for clients in their home. One of their cats had health problems and I had to administer medicine in her ear twice a day. I always made sure that cat was comfortable with me so I could give her the medicine. They had a strict diet and feeding schedule that I had no problem following. I also watch dogs (Rin & Sparrow) for a couple whenever they go on vacation or take out of town work. A typical day would include checking in on them in the mornings. Making sure that they had plenty of fresh water, and food. On occasion I would give them treats and make sure they had bathroom breaks. I would play with them by throwing a toy and keep them company for a while before I would come back at night to check in on them again. I would love the opportunity to meet you and your pets. Please feel free to contact to me if there is anything I can do for you.

About: Experience with senior dogs that need more special attention due to their diet and medication needs giving them plenty of exercise or playing going on walks and making sure that they get all the attention and love that fur babies need. Currently work part time and available after 2 PM on Monday, Tuesday and Friday. Fully available Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday. I will have plenty of time to take care of all pets needs whether it’s check-ins, housesitting, walks, feeding and even baths if needed. This all depends on clients wishes and what the fur babies need will be based off of clients comfortability with me being in their own space. My general rule is making sure I leave space(s) clean and respecting others homes and boundaries due to me being a guest and being respectful of property and the safety of pets and fur babies.

Shando was amazing with our dogs. We have 2 very enthusiastic French bulldogs and he was able to calm them within moments of their initial meeting. He stayed in our home and took the dogs walking while we were away sending pictures and updates. When we returned home the dogs were so relaxed and happy. It was truly the best experience with a dog sitter we have had to date. We look forward to welcoming Shando back when we leave for another trip.

About: Animals have been a valuable part of my life since childhood. Growing up on a ranch taught me how to care for, communicate with, and train a wide range of animals. I’ve raised dogs and cats from birth to seniorhood and understand that each stage of life brings unique needs. While working as a nanny for nine years, I regularly cared for family pets: walking, feeding, managing routines, and handling training or behavior support. I’ve worked with dogs ranging from 4 to 160 pounds, including those with reactive behaviors. One dog in my care required careful walking protocols due to aggression toward other animals, and I consistently ensured his outings remained safe and structured for over a year. I’m comfortable with both regular and emergency medical care. I’m the emergency contact for a household of cats, including a diabetic cat who receives insulin injections, and I’ve administered medication to dogs as well. My goal is always to build trust and connection with the animals I care for. I believe that patience, communication, and consistency lead to happier, well-adjusted pets and peace of mind for their people. What I offer: Dog walking and potty breaks: customized routes that keep your dog on it’s paws, sniffing trails, and short sprints that match your furry friend’s energy levels; I’ll incorporate slow-release treats and gentle social cues for comfortable socializing. Pet sitting and drop-in visits: careful feeding, fresh water, sprinkle of enrichment ( puzzle toys, scent games, light training cues), cuddles, and a quick photo update so you know your baby is thriving. Behavior support and training help: positive reinforcement focused, gentle redirection, and practical training. Medical support and emergencies: I’m comfortable with regular medical routines and happy to be your emergency contact for household needs (e.g., insulin administration for diabetic pets). I’ve administered medications to many types of animals. Your dog will be entertained! Creative activities your dog will love: The classics: tug of war, fetch, tag Treasure hunts at home or in the yard: hide treats or toys in safe spots to boost problem-solving and physical activity. Scent-work mini-games: hide a familiar scent (like their favorite toy) and let dogs “track” it down! DIY obstacle courses: low-key agility course using cushions, cones, and tunnels for mental and physical stimulation. Story-time strolls: a calm, slow-paced walk with gentle narration to reinforce calm behavior and bonding. Mindful café: practice “settle” and “leave it” at an outdoor coffee shop or park bench, rewarding calm behavior with a travel-safe treat. Flexible, friendly, and always up for a little extra creativity! Tell me what your pup loves, and I’ll tailor the adventures to fit. I run a nonprofit so I work from home most of the time. I am a night owl who gets up pretty early. I can accomedate different schedules easily. In your home, I maintain your pet’s regular feeding, walking, and play schedule while also keeping their environment clean and safe. I’m respectful of your space and make sure your pet feels secure and relaxed while you're away. I also provide updates and photos, so you know how things are going. Please let me know how I can make your pet more comfortable.

About: I have had pets my whole life! I’ve taken care of elderly, new borns, puppies, big dogs, cats, turtles, fish, birds and more. I’m a real animal lover. 🩷 I am very flexible & can work out any schedule! I’m currently working part-time. My schedule isn’t the same every week but I can accommodate as much as I can! I just need at least 2 weeks notice, but sometimes I can accommodate in case of emergent pet care. I am very adamant about pets safety. Having pets in this generation is like having kids! I will provide the most loving and safe service I can offer to your children.

FAQs for House Sitting - Bonnie Springs

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of July 2026, there are 1,674 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Bonnie Springs. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:

  • Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
  • Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
  • Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
  • Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.

The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Bonnie Springs walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.

It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Bonnie Springs maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:

  • Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
  • Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
  • Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.

Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Bonnie Springs choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Bonnie Springs. On Rover:

  • 95% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
