During the summer time I do this either early in the morning or late at night so their paws aren’t hurt by the hot ground. I feed them once in the morning and at night. I can adjust this depending on your dogs needs. I usually pick up all the poop in my backyard at the end of the day to avoid a buildup of waste in the backyard.
