“Elsie was fantastic and my fur babies loved having her taking care of them. She sent plenty of pictures and updates and I was completely at ease while I was away traveling. I’d highly recommend her to anyone that is needing any type of pet sitting services and I’ll definitely use her services again.”

“Elizabeth and Eric are wonderful! They sat for us while my boyfriend and I were both away for work for a few days. Elizabeth and Eric are very kind and considerate, and were so caring for our two cats. I appreciated their communication and consideration every step of the way through the sit; they made us feel very comfortable that our cats were in great hands while we were out of town. Elizabeth even checked in once the sit was over to make sure everything was great upon my arrival back home. So thoughtful! We will definitely contact them for future sits!”

“Lulu has done an excellent job for us and we will definitely be hiring her again! Joey, our pup loves her. She stayed at our house overnight and left everything spotless! She’s been very flexible with us which is super important with our sometimes hectic schedule. I also appreciate what she has resourceful And can adapt if there are changes and is quick to figure out things in our building such as entry codes. Very nice to hire someone who is smart and resourceful.”

“Kaylee is outstanding! I took a leap hiring her as I had not used her before, and I think she may be newer to Rover. But, she is definitely not new to caring for animals or housesitting. She sent lots of pictures, gave me a lot of updates, and I could tell the animals were very comfortable with her and got a lot of love and attention. My house was also very tidy when I came home and little things done I didn’t ask for. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a responsible pet sitter. I will definitely be using her again. Thank you, Kaylee, for being such a loving pet sitter. You had my mind at ease our entire trip.”
“Maria exceeded our expectations. She stayed in our home and watched our two dogs for a few days. We felt assured of their safety and they had lots of fun. She stayed in contact, provided plenty of pictures and videos and abided by our schedule and diet we have for them. She comes with fun toys and they appeared to have enjoyed their time with her. We would have Maria watch our treasured dogs again.”

“Erika was incredible with my pup! She was a fantastic house guest and handled my hyperactive golden with grace and love. She is absolutely the go-to if you live in Vegas!”

“Samantha is amazing! We have used her twice in last few months. She is very responsive and sends frequent updates. The first time, our garage door stopped working and she was easy going to work with it to resolve the issue. Would definitely recommend!”

“Brenda Lee took excellent care of our dog Bruno. I felt very comfortable leaving him in her care. We had major travel delays coming home and Brendalee was able to extend her stay with Bruno so we didn’t have to worry about him. I appreciate her flexibility and willingness to make sure everything was under control at home. She really went above and beyond.”
“Sierra did amazing with her sitting of my two girls. She was communicative and respectful of my home. She sent photos of my girls throughout the sitting, and updated me with any needed information. I will definitely be booking with her in the future.”

“Nina is the best! I can't imagine being able to go away without knowing that she is taking such great care of our fur babies. She stays in constant contact, and is very loving & caring with them. I have complete confidence in her & know they are safe & well taken care of. I highly recommend Nina! ❤️”

About: I have been taking care of other peoples animals for years. I have a passion for animals :) I used to work for a dog boarding place for a couple years where we took them out to play for long periods of time. I will make sure your dogs get the loving and attention. I enjoy playing with dogs and taking them to the park. I am very patient with dogs as well. I am available after 1115 am Sundays thru Thursday and I am available all day Friday's and Saturdays if you ever need a sitter. I will spoil them like they were my own. I love all dogs, small, large, and medium sized. :) can text or call if you need a sitter

“Jackie was great! She pet sit my two dogs and cat. She was communicative and sent photos during my trip. I felt totally comfortable having her in my home and caring for my pet kids. Everyone was happy and relaxed when I got home and my house was immaculate. Highly recommend Jackie and will be booking with her again - I feel lucky to have found her!”

About: I was raised with large purebred dogs, and now currently own 3 very happy cats! I have some veterinary clinic experience, so I know how to care for any animals that may need prescriptions or active treatments (including cat baths!). I have lots of experience with dog training, mainly for tricks - but I can also teach proper leash training and basic commands. I do not enable puppy behavior, even if it is super cute. I also used to foster a feral cat for 6 months before finding him his fur-ever home, so I can also acclimate with some spicy kitties! I work from home as a freelance artist! My own pets are set up with automatic feeders, water fountains, and automatic litter boxes, so I'm able to provide pet care for others virtually any day of the week, any time! I have a lot of flexibility. I believe communication is key! Especially with cats, which are quite sensitive to environmental changes, getting details on normal routine/habits are essential for seamless pet care experiences for everyone involved. I will be asking clients about their typical routine (including food + walking routines), any possible medical-related concerns, as well as how often they would like updates on their beloved fur babies.
About: I have previously worked as a dog bather and kennel attendant. I’ve grown up with dogs and am currently helping care for my family’s elderly dog. I have my own cat and snake! I love all animals so much! I have worked with old dogs, puppies, dog aggressive dogs, high energy dogs, blind dogs, dogs that require medicine administrated to them, and scared and shy dogs. I know I can ensure your pet will be comfortable and safe! Im open to any availability! My schedule is flexible and i’m willing to make things work. I’m in the process of starting my own jewelry business, I have a deep love and passion for animals that I still would love to incorporate in my daily life. I will be sure to have an understanding for each pet individually as just like humans they are all unique in their own way. I will provide open communication with pet parents and care for them as if they were one of mine!
About: Hi, I’m Brianna :) Im a registered nurse here in Las Vegas that loves dogs! I have had a love for dogs of all shapes and sizes ever since I was a little girl. I moved to Las Vegas in 2023 but back home we have a family pet Chihuahua, Chloe, who I trained and took care of since I was 13. Chloe did have her fair share of health complications so I am pretty familiar with senior care for dogs as well as following strict rules and schedules for any medicine your dog may need. I do not have any pets or children so I can ensure you i have the time and space to care for your pet. I also only take one boarding request at a time so I can promise to give your pet 1:1 attention and care! I live in an apartment complex with plenty of walking space around the community, and a park very nearby. I will be home most of the time to keep your dog company. I can provide potty breaks very frequently and give your dog all the attention or playtime they may need. Your dogs are welcome to sleep in the bed and on all furniture. I am open to board any dogs no matter size, age, or breed! I am very flexible of any accommodations your dog may need regarding sleep, eat, or play so please feel free to let me know anything your dog may prefer!
“This was a Rebook with Jessica J. I prefer her as my sitter for Zion. She is the best sitter that I've ever had. Jessica follows instructions to the T. She is kind, caring, understanding and knows about dogs and their behaviors, etc. Zion took to her right away and loves playing with her with his toys. She walked him daily and sent us pictures and videos of him. While we were gone, we knew Zion was being well taken care of and thats a good feeling. With much appreciation, Mike & Rita”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Summerlin South
Elise is an amazing sitter. She works hard to ensure it’s a great fit even before the first appointment, which shows her commitment to ensuring the pet and pet parent feels comfortable and safe with her service. She’s very affable and is definitely a sitter you would want to rebook again and again.

Wow; Tony was the best. We are so grateful to have found him. He went above and beyond for our dog. He walked him, played with him and let him sleep on his bed. We have a large GSD and were a bit nervous about leaving him with someone. Tony was able to handle our dog without any issues and seemed to be very comfortable with him. When you have a large dog, that’s always the fear. He sent many pictures and videos showing our dog having his own vacation. We would all give him 2 paws up.

This is my second time using Allison. Her communication is great and she always seems to send the best photo updates. All my babies always look so happy & content, which definitely helps ease my mind while I’m away. I would highly recommend Allison & will definitely be booking with her again in the future.

Ziad was magnificent! He followed all instructions for the dogs to the tee and went above and beyond when Chuy had an accident and got poop all over his fur! Ziad washed him and cut off the matted fur, totally unexpected but Ziad came to the rescue! Ziad even put out my trash and brought the bins and left the house in the same condition! I highly recommend him and will be booking him again for sure in the future! Book him!!!

Meghan was the best! Not only did she take great care of my pup, but she left my house in perfect condition. She sent frequent photos a happy dog, and kept me up to date. She even dealt with some "accidents" in the living room, which she cleaned thoroughly. I'll never hire anyone else!
She was amazing. I have never left my dogs with anyone besides family and was very nervous. She responded quickly everytime I reached out. Took care of them above and beyond what I asked. Even had my house looking and smelling way better then I left it. Would highly recommend her to anyone in need of having their animlas treated correctly

We used Annie for the first time this weekend and she was great! Very thoughtful and attentive to our pup even in the heat! Received multiple pictures with updates throughout the weekend and made sure to check-in when she had questions. Will definitely use her again :)

Gabriella and her husband were absolutely amazing! They watched our dog, Lily, and our cat, Garfield, while we were away, and we couldn’t have asked for better care. They are truly a power couple! They followed every instruction to a T, gave our pets so much love and attention, and kept us completely at ease with daily pictures and updates. It was clear that Lily and Garfield were happy, comfortable, and well cared for the entire time. To top it all off, we came home to a spotless house, with the sheets and towels washed and everything looking wonderful. It’s such a great feeling to return from a trip and know your home and pets were cared for as if they were their own. We highly recommend Gabriella and her husband to anyone looking for reliable, trustworthy, and caring pet sitters. We already have them booked for another weekend!

Christian was great with keeping us updated with photos and info a be out our girl while we were gone, that helped me a LOT- we rarely have the whole family gone and need someone, but I'd 100% be comfortable next time (which is likely to happen a couple times a year!

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Summerlin South walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Summerlin South maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Summerlin South choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
