“Candice is a great dog sitter! She made sure to keep me updated about my dog and sent lots of pictures along with other updates throughout the day :) She also made sure my dog had a good time and kept her busy with playing with the other pups and toys too!”

“Karyn did an amazing job with our pup. Prior to the booking she communicated well and gathered details on our pups needs to ensure it would be a good fit. Once we arrived, she was very welcoming and took time to get to know our dog first. She made arrangements for him to have a separate space in her home given his young age. Karyn also did a great job of providing updates throughout his stay with pictures video and feedback. At pickup, our dog was happy and had a great stay. We would 100% recommend Karyn to others!”

“I left my Baby with Brandon for the first time. I was so nervous as I have never left her. Brandon was very calming and Baby took to him immediately. I was so impressed by Brandon and his wife. They took wonderful care of Baby, she had so much fun with them. Brandon sent me pictures all day of their adventures and Jaquie even got her to eat, which is amaxing bc she never eats for me. I’m looking forward to our visits!!!!”

“Megumi, David, and their family were EXCELLENT sitters for our Billie girl! They were so loving and their family gave our puppy plenty of love and exercise during her two day visit. We feel so grateful for their intentionality in communicating how Billie was doing throughout the visit. They sent videos and updates during the day :) They were also very accommodating in letting us pick up our puppy during later hours (I work late in the ER) which was so helpful. They are professional and kind, and I recommend them for anyone seeking a loving sitter for their pup!! Thank you, Megumi and David!”

“This was my first time booking with Anna and I was really impressed. My dog enjoyed being there. We got photos of our puppy. She even was able to recognize a symptom my puppy had, so we took him to the vet. We have to change our puppies diet but if it wasn’t for he attention it probably would have gone unrecognized by us. A+! We look forward to sending our little guy under her care.”
“Definitely will be returning. I made a BIG oopsie and book for the day after the day I wanted. Al was very very generous and accommodated us on a very very very short notice. Thank you so very much for yall support and helping me with my baby “Mont”. He was pleased to have stayed with you and when I am in town again he will be back for sure. No more mishaps tho. lol. Thanks a ton yet again. (:”

“Yilin watched my dog after I contacted her with very short notice. She took good care of her and sent several pictures, which is all anybody could ask for. So I recommend her, and I will definitely reach out to her again when I need someone to watch my dog!”

“We were visiting Las Vegas on an extremely hot day and needed a safe, cool, and welcoming place for our 115 lb Cane Corso, Liberty, to stay for the day. Wendy was incredibly kind and provided a comfortable environment that immediately put us at ease. While in Wendy’s care, Liberty—who occasionally experiences seizures—had an episode. Wendy handled the situation calmly, professionally, and with genuine care and compassion. It meant so much to know our dog was in such capable hands during a stressful moment. If we are ever back in the area, we would absolutely contact Wendy again. Highly recommend!”

“I highly recommand Loan. She really well taking care of my baby Soonie for 2 days started with daycare and 2nd day with boarding. Time to time she often send pics for her status update and made me so relief. She takes care of Sonnie with true TLC. Soonie ate well, played well, peed and pooped well. Loan really helped me to have wonderful vacation in Las Vegas”

“This was my first time leaving my dog with a caretaker since I adopted her over a month ago. I have to say, I am very impressed with the level of care that they gave her, and the photos they sent me gave me a sense of calm and reassurance that I left her in the right hands. Tony and Gina went above and beyond to provide the best care for my dog, and based on the many reviews here, I can tell that they truly care about their clients. I will absolutely be using them again in the future! Thank you both for taking care of my babygirl.”

“Linda was great. She was able to accommodate a last minute dog sitting request. She sent me pictures throughout the day, and my pup was super happy when I picked him up later that night. When I got home, I immediately rebooked her services for the following day. I will 100% be using Linda again.”

“Linda was perfect! She and her husband were so welcoming and made my dog Piper feel right at home! Piper was so excited to get dropped off, and she had the best day playing in Linda’s backyard with her dog Beast. I received photos and updates throughout the day which I was so grateful for! Linda and her husband will be my first pick next time I need a dog sitter!”

“Found a nice family for our dog. Tried a one day doggy day care to have our dog and the sitters well-acquainted, the communication before, during and after were good. We look forward to having BF them board for our dog in the next week and on.”

“David and his wife were so kind and helpful. They met me outside to drop off the dogs and met me outside to pick them up. They loved on them all night and made me super comfortable leaving them there. They’re the best!!!!”

“I truly couldn’t be more grateful. From the start, you were incredibly accommodating. You took such great care of Barkly and made the whole process completely stress free. I felt so reassured knowing Barkly was in good hands. It’s not easy trusting someone new. I would absolutely book again and highly recommend your services. Thank you again 💗”

“Fran and her pups took amazing care of our boy! We were so happy she accommodated our request with only a couple days notice. Even more happy with how well she treated Max. He enjoyed his time with her and her pups so much that he passed out for the night when we got him back!”

About: About Me I’ve always been surrounded by cats and dogs—they were more than pets, they were family. While I don’t have my own pet now, I genuinely enjoy welcoming furry friends into my home and caring for them as if they were my own. I know how important it is to leave your pet with someone you trust. That’s why I create a warm, loving environment where they feel safe, comfortable, and happy. Since I work from home, your pet will never be left alone—they’ll always have companionship and attention. Whether they love cuddles or prefer their own space, I respect their needs and ensure they feel at ease. My home is pet-friendly, spacious, and cozy. Pets are welcome on the couch, and my complex has a dog park and great walking areas for fresh air and exercise. Looking forward to welcoming your furry friend!😊 I work from home everyday, and actually I always at home, so your pet will always be under supervision and in the company of a kind and caring person. In my apartment, pets are allowed to be on the couch and feel like a full member of the family. I have a spacious apartment and enough space for a pet if it wants to be alone. Our complex also has a dog park and many places for walking. as well as a fairly guarded area.

“The meet & greet went extremely well, but then my pup got so scared when I had to leave next day. Lillian did her best to make Apollo feel comfortable and welcome, even giving him private space to get used to his new environment. Day 2, he’s much calmer and is starting to make new friends. You can tell from the start that Lillian truly loves and cares for her fur kids.”
“Sun was very accommodating, caring, and responsive to our young puppy's needs. She communicated clearly and precisely, and was able to adjust her schedule to our changing needs. Our puppy had a wonderful home away from home playing with her 2 dogs. Absolutely recommend her, would gladly work with her again next time we're in Las Vegas with our dog.”

Jamie took such wonderful care of Mylo! Finding a sitter was challenging, but she was incredibly flexible, kind, and accommodating. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing Mylo was in good hands today. I truly appreciated her help and would definitely recommend her.

I recently lost my other furbaby, and I noticed that my senior dog was also deeply affected by the loss, too. I didn’t think his dementia would make him as vulnerable, but it did so I was looking for someone with dogs who could provide daycare for my dog, and I found Matt on Rover. He has two dogs of his own, Tito and Sky, who are great with my dog. They are the welcome committee and are energetic just as they are easygoing with him. Matt was also very understanding when my dog pooped in his living room. He didn’t make me feel bad about it, knowing that my dog was a senior and not quite as sharp as he used to be. I feel comfortable and confident leaving my dog in Matt’s care while I’m at work. He keeps me updated on how my dog is doing throughout the day, so I don’t have to worry about him. I highly recommend Matt if you’re looking for a dog lover who is comfortable taking care of your furry friend.

Roberta took wonderful care of Lucky while we were in town visiting. She was very flexible with timing, watched him on Christmas Eve, and even gave him the sweetest Christmas gift. She also sent adorable videos and pictures, which we really appreciated. We felt so comfortable knowing Lucky was in such great hands.

This was our first timing using Rover, and we had a wonderful experience with Priya. She was so great with Maple! She was flexible with setting up a meet and greet before, answered all of our questions, and even dropped Maple off late so that we could enjoy our wedding. Thank you Priya!

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NV ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
