“Karyn is awesome! She took really great care of Dax, especially because he was a little nervous. I will definitely use her again if I'm in this area. She has a big ❤️ for dogs!”

“Always the best! Ozgu is my go-to sitter as she always goes above and beyond in providing the most wonderful care for my fur baby Clover. Her dog, Harper has become Clover’s favorite friend to spend time with and they’ve become besties now. Clover always looks forward to spending time with them!! I never have to worry about her when Clover is with Ozgu since she sends me lots of pictures of Clover looking so happy and having the best time. I’m so happy to have found the best sitter and best friend for Clover 😊”

“My pup always has such a great time at Alexsander’s and with his pups! Love getting the pictures and videos throughout the day of how much fun he’s having. Highly recommend sending your pups to him!”

“Since my birthday and our wedding anniversary are on the same day, we needed a doggie-sitter on short notice. I think our boys felt special since Anna and her mother made time for them. They were clearly cuddling up in her mom's lap in the photos and video I requested. They're Yorkies dogs & have velcro in them. After picking them up all night long, I kept an eye on them, and their vitality appeared to be fine. Therefore, tomorrow they will return back. We come often so looks like we've found our sitters, and we're very particular. We were delighted with their care of our fur babies!”

“Found a nice family for our dog. Tried a one day doggy day care to have our dog and the sitters well-acquainted, the communication before, during and after were good. We look forward to having BF them board for our dog in the next week and on.”

“Loan took good care of my baby. She’s awesome. The best sitter that I can ever find. She provided updates, took my baby for potty and provided food as per my instructions. I would recommend Loan to all pet parents 😊”

“We’re so grateful to have found Liliia! She is incredibly sweet, patient, and attentive with our two fur babies. One of our dogs, Reeses, has pretty intense separation anxiety, and our other pup, Peanut, is usually chill but sometimes picks up on Reeses’ energy. So we’re always nervous about leaving them with sitters. But since we found Liliia a few months ago, we finally feel at ease. She takes the time to understand their personalities and gives them the comfort and care they need. Every time we return, our dogs are calm, happy, and clearly well cared for. Liliia gives us regular updates and goes above and beyond to make sure they feel safe and loved. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving sitter!”

“Patrick was super communicative, and very patient with our shy pup. We received lots of picture updates, and Gil had lots of time to play with other dogs and a safe environment.”

About: I've owned dogs my entire life and currently have an 8 year old Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mix. I've gone through extensive training over the last 8 years that I've used to help friends and family with their dogs, as well as providing dog sitting care. I absolutely adore dogs and have worked with many different types of breeds of all sizes. I'm an active outside person with access to many parks and walking paths within 2 miles of my house. Im a stay at home dog mom so I have the ability to provide around the clock care for your fur babies. I have access to many beautiful outdoor areas and make full use of them! My backyard is big enough for medium/small sized dogs to run and play, but long walks and lots of playtime are also an everyday activity here. I have a fenced in yard as well as cameras that alert to motion around the property. I also have crates and gates to section off areas of the house should your pet need more safe place reassurance. For safety, and to make sure accidents never happen, the cats have their own space and never have access to the same spaces your fur baby is in. My pets are highly socialized and have been around many different animals/pets and are always well behaved.

About: I have a 10-month-old female Goldendoodle and spend all day working from home with my husband, so pets always get plenty of attention and care. I can provide both a calm environment for relaxing and fun playtime for high energy dogs. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and making them feel safe and comfortable. 🌸 Can provide constant care for dogs with separation anxiety. 🌸 Bed & couch is allowed unless you prefer otherwise. 🌸 Puppies are always welcome, whether or not they’re housebroken. We can do potty breaks as often as needed. I work from home full-time, so dogs get lots of attention throughout the day, including potty breaks, walks, playtime, and many many cuddles. I enjoy creating a calm and comfortable environment while also making time for fun activities and exercise. I make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved, with plenty of supervision. Your dog will have an access to a secure enclosed yard for safe outdoor time and play. I follow each pet’s usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special instructions. NOTE: I can care for any friendly small&medium dogs. For large dogs, i prefer similar characteristics to doodles since my dog gets scared otherwise🙈 But i’m always happy to schedule a meet&greet to make sure our dogs are a good fit for each other.
“Sun was very accommodating, caring, and responsive to our young puppy's needs. She communicated clearly and precisely, and was able to adjust her schedule to our changing needs. Our puppy had a wonderful home away from home playing with her 2 dogs. Absolutely recommend her, would gladly work with her again next time we're in Las Vegas with our dog.”

“I couldn’t have pick a better choice than Jaclyn and her family to watch over Shorty. They kept me updated with photos and text on Shorty’s stays. Being that my schedule was changing hour to hour Jaclyn was very flexible with drop off and pick up time. She and her family will be my #1 choice when I visit Las Vegas”

“Destinie was great with our Louie and we would be thrilled to have her watch him again for us. Her communication was great and Louie was very happy! Thanks so much Destinie!”

“Great first overall experience on Rover. Brittany accepted my husky into her home for the day while I was at work with photo updates. Recommend this sitter to others. Thanks!”

“Vivian is the best sitter we could ask for! She was very attentive, thoughtful, and communicated well with us before and throughout the entire stay. She took care of our dog Jewang like her own. We are extremely grateful. Thank you so much!”

“We received several pictures and video during a short day of daycare and were happy to see our pup looking comfortable and playful. Numa’s family is very kind and we are so happy to have met them. We have a short trip coming up and it is a relief to have caring sitters when our girl can’t join us.”

“We were visiting Las Vegas on an extremely hot day and needed a safe, cool, and welcoming place for our 115 lb Cane Corso, Liberty, to stay for the day. Wendy was incredibly kind and provided a comfortable environment that immediately put us at ease. While in Wendy’s care, Liberty—who occasionally experiences seizures—had an episode. Wendy handled the situation calmly, professionally, and with genuine care and compassion. It meant so much to know our dog was in such capable hands during a stressful moment. If we are ever back in the area, we would absolutely contact Wendy again. Highly recommend!”

Kong is amazing! Alfie gets so excited that he cries to see him every time. It’s clear that Kong genuinely cares about the dogs and goes above and beyond to keep them happy, healthy, and well cared for. I always feel confident leaving Alfie with him and highly recommend him!

Jamie took such wonderful care of Mylo! Finding a sitter was challenging, but she was incredibly flexible, kind, and accommodating. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing Mylo was in good hands today. I truly appreciated her help and would definitely recommend her.

I recently lost my other furbaby, and I noticed that my senior dog was also deeply affected by the loss, too. I didn’t think his dementia would make him as vulnerable, but it did so I was looking for someone with dogs who could provide daycare for my dog, and I found Matt on Rover. He has two dogs of his own, Tito and Sky, who are great with my dog. They are the welcome committee and are energetic just as they are easygoing with him. Matt was also very understanding when my dog pooped in his living room. He didn’t make me feel bad about it, knowing that my dog was a senior and not quite as sharp as he used to be. I feel comfortable and confident leaving my dog in Matt’s care while I’m at work. He keeps me updated on how my dog is doing throughout the day, so I don’t have to worry about him. I highly recommend Matt if you’re looking for a dog lover who is comfortable taking care of your furry friend.

Roberta took wonderful care of Lucky while we were in town visiting. She was very flexible with timing, watched him on Christmas Eve, and even gave him the sweetest Christmas gift. She also sent adorable videos and pictures, which we really appreciated. We felt so comfortable knowing Lucky was in such great hands.

This was our first timing using Rover, and we had a wonderful experience with Priya. She was so great with Maple! She was flexible with setting up a meet and greet before, answered all of our questions, and even dropped Maple off late so that we could enjoy our wedding. Thank you Priya!

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NV ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
