“Sarah is absolutely the best person. I unexpectedly had to be in hospital and she was able to take care of my kitties that day, and, on top of that, she cleaned up my kitchen for me because I told her I felt bad about it being a mess. She is great!!”

“Ashley was absolutely phenomenal caring for my pets while I was away for a week. Leaving your babies behind is never easy, but she made the entire experience stress-free. She was reliable, communicative, and clearly treated my pets as if they were her own (even when Figaro got a little spicy). Ashley kept me updated with messages and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was traveling. When I returned home, my pets were happy, relaxed, and well cared for, and everything was exactly as it should be. It’s obvious that Ashley genuinely loves animals and takes great pride in providing excellent care. I couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter, and I would trust her with my babies again in a heartbeat. I highly recommend Ashley to anyone looking for someone dependable, caring, and attentive to care for their pets!”

“Breayn was wonderful with my cats and I would definitely hire her again. She was reliable, easy to communicate with. I could genuinely cared about my cats and enjoyed spending time with them. Knowing they were being cared for by someone so trustworthy made it much easier to be away for 10 days, and I came home to two happy, healthy cats!”

“Catherine always goes above and beyond with my dogs. She treats them like they’re her own, and it shows in everything she does. I trust her completely and truly appreciate the love and care she gives them!”

“Always a great experience! It is so nice to be able to get away for a bit and truly relax knowing our fur babies are in the most capable and loving hands. Sandra always goes above and beyond to make sure our cats are happy, safe and well cared for when we are away.”

“Natalie was able to accommodate on short notice. Summer is brutal so she is able to use her best judgment to take our dogs out so they could do their business but brought them inside to cool down and played with them for the remainder of their visit time!”

“Alicia is one of the most caring people you will ever meet. In addition, she was very precise, very prompt, very flexible and a delight to interact with. She knew that I would not be a regular client since we were just visiting Vegas for the week and live at quite a distance. Nonetheless, you could not have a sitter whom you would trust or appreciate more than Alicia. I feel so fortunate to have met her. I didn’t trust my little senior Maltese with her. Thank you, Alicia!”

“We just watched footage of our dog racing to the door to greet Karli! Needless to say, the pups (cats) love her and they are always happy and healthy when we get home. Thanks, Karli!”

“No complaints he sent pics of my fur buddies, he even put our FedEx packages in the house, very courteous. Definitely would recommend Redmond to anyone that needs a pet sitter and I will request Redmond again.”

“Araceli is amazing! All my cats usually avoid strangers, but all of them came out at the very first visit for pets and treats. She was extremely responsive to messages, punctual, and highly communicative. We will absolutely be requesting her again for our future pet sitting needs!”

“Rachel was amazing! We went out of town for just one night and she was able to drop in on our boys for potty breaks, playtime, etc. She took care to follow our instructions, and made us feel at ease with them under her care. I would definitely recommend Rachel for your pet’s needs!”

About: Hello! I have been a Rover pet sitter in San Diego for the past 7 years. I just moved to Las Vegas and I am looking forward to meeting and caring for new 4-legged friends! At this time, I am offering house-sitting in the owner's home, dog walking and drop-ins. (I am temporarily in an apartment and will resume dog boarding when I find my own new home.) I grew up with dogs including golden retrievers, labs, and bull mastiffs. I absolutely love them all! I can't have one of my own because I travel for work and I couldn't bear to leave one in a kennel over and over, so Rover is perfect for me - I'd love to spoil your dog(s) when my schedule allows, and get my dog fix at the same time! When I was a kid, our family found an injured dog in the woods. We brought her home and nursed her back to health. I've been in love with dogs ever since. I was responsible for our labs while I was growing up: feeding, walking, playing and exercising them. The second I'm able to get my own pup, I will. In the meantime, I will love your pets every moment they are with me and I will keep them happy, safe and wagging their tails! *Update: I have been a 5-star Rover sitter since 2019. Absolutely love it! I am a loving, caring, responsible and honest pet sitter. I do require a meet & greet as well as pets that are already house-trained. I cannot care for aggressive, loud animals that haven’t been trained to interact with humans. I work from home (or travel for work) so if I am house-sitting at your home, I can be with your pets all day long. They will get lots of love and attention! For walks and drop-in's, I have a flexible schedule and can accommodate most schedules starting mid-morning. I love animals and will give your babies tons of affection and attention, plus all of their needs - meals, walks, medications, assistance for elderly or disabled pets, etc. They will be the center of my world while in my care!
“Torri is absolutely wonderful sitter. My PSA pitbull terrier was immediatly bonded to him. We had a meet and greet beforehand and I could already tell he was the perfect match. He did everything asked and took lots of photos. I will definitely have him again!”

Yilin was absolutely wonderful with our baby Noah! She provided excellent care during her drop-in visits and clearly went above and beyond to make sure he felt loved and comfortable. She’s incredibly attentive, professional, and caring — we couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. We’ll definitely be booking with her again!

Bob step up to plate with a very short timeline to hire a pet sitter. Originally, the plan was to sit for 5 days but it got extended to 17 days due to a family emergency and overseas trip. He is dependable and flexible with his schedule. I know my bunny is in good hands.

Nichole went above and beyond when taking care of my Bengals 💕 She’s an excellent communicator, so thoughtful, caring, responsible and trustworthy. I’m so happy to have found her, and will definitely leave my cats in her hands when traveling! They were less stressed than I’ve ever seen them after me leaving, and can tell it’s the amount of care + attention she put into taking care of them
Gabriella and her husband are incredibly kind, reliable, and made us feel completely at ease while we were away on our trip. She sent plenty of photos and updates, which really helped us relax knowing our cat was in good hands. She treated our home with great care and respect, and our cat warmed up to her very quickly. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable and caring sitter. 🐾

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
