About: Family pets were obviously my first foray into pet care. Amongst my brothers I was the first choice to watch our youngest four legged family member. This was noticed by neighbors. While young me was a little shy to ask, other pet owners on the block would grab me for the one off walk or dog sitting session. Care continued to my own pets, and here we are. I'm a professional MMA fighter. While I'm not training I get a lot of personal time with my own little fur balls. Walks, play, even just refinding our centers, I think that being close with animals is a true cheat code to personal health. We live in a quiet neighborhood. The area has plenty of walking trails and even some open spaces to really get those four legs moving. Or we could just chill in the sun in the fenced in back yard. At your place I'm able to hang, go on walks (or run), etc. whatever your pet needs!
“Nina was very communicative and went above and beyond. She dropped in twice a day to take care of my cats. She sent photos and made sure they were brushed and exercised. I will definitely book with her again.”

“Shawn was a good sitter for me and my kitten. I appreciate his flexible and his care to my kitten. I was worried due to past sitters and im glad that Shawn took good care of my baby. He was communicative with me, always keeping me informed and I could easily reach him, as needed. He was descriptive in his rover cards and that helped ease my mind on how the visit with my kitten went. I asked for him to check on my kitten’s automatic food dispenser and water fountain, along with cleaning out her litter daily.”

“Mariana was prompt and communicative and super interactive with our two pups and cat. She administered oral medication to the cat and attended to all three little ones’ needs. So appreciate her and will book her again!”

About: Hi! My name is Camila. I’ve always loved animals and enjoy spending time with them. I’m a responsible, patient, and dependable person who understands how important it is for pets to feel safe and cared for. Through my work as a lifeguard and swim instructor, I’ve learned to be punctual, attentive, and calm under pressure. I’ll follow your pet’s routine carefully, give them plenty of attention, and keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I currently work part-time, so my availability varies throughout the week. I’ll always keep my calendar updated and will communicate promptly about my availability. When I’m caring for your pet, they’ll receive my full attention, plenty of care, and regular updates while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I’ll carefully follow your instructions, including feeding schedules, walks, medications (if needed), and any routines your pet is used to. I’ll treat your home and your pet with respect, provide updates with photos, and make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved.
“First time using Ashley and she was wonderful. She treated our baby with sweetness and lots of love. She played with him and cleaned up after him, which was awesome. The one on one attention she gives is extraordinary. Thank you Ashley and we will definitely be calling on you in the future .”

“Debbie is an excellent cat sitter! Both of our cats love her and we are so grateful to have such a reliable person to make sure our cats are doing well when we travel!”

About: I grew up with all sorts of pets, especially dogs and cats, and have become extremely fond of them! I grew up primarily around dogs, but I currently have a cat of my own! I have done plenty of stays to pet sit for friends and family, and am looking to expand my work! I have worked with big dogs and small dogs, as well as cats of all temperments, and am happy to follow any rules that you set! My goal is to provide the level of care asked of me, whether that is a short potty break for puppies, or a longer walk for dogs with more energy! I have a remote job Monday-Friday, which fully allows me to provide overnight care or drop ins throughout the day! I do have a cat of my own, so I am not able to offer boarding at the moment, and would prefer to keep housesitting requests under 5 days, but can make arrangements for him to go to my boyfriends house if needed. I take extra care to leave every home the way I find it (if not cleaner) and would ensure that all messes are cleaned up in a timely manner and communicated! I put a lot of emphasis on respecting other peoples home and pets, and would make sure to provide the best care that I can!
“I had an unexpected trip out of town and Jennifer was able to take care of my cat with no notice. And she was able to extend my care with the trip took longer than expected. I don't know what I'd do without her!!”

“Adam was absolutely amazing! He came round to meet our three senior cats and they are usually very afraid of strangers but they took to him straight away and even while we were away they came out to greet him which is a miracle! He took amazing care of our babies over the last 7 days, sending daily updates and photos of them so we could relax and not worry about them at all. We will definitely be booking Adam again for our next trip. Thank you!”

“We cannot say enough how great Olivia was with our babies. She was very professional and they looked so happy. We got to enjoy our time away without worrying about them. Would highly recommend Olivia. We will definitely book her again.”
“If you need a pet sitter this is the BEST one to get!! This my first time ever needing pet sitting services and Michelle was a complete god send. She sent tons of photos everyday, kept my cats well loved, and was always excited to share about how they were doing. Truly don’t have enough words in the dictionary to positively describe Michelle! ❤️❤️❤️”

About: Pet parents and lovers! We use Rover for our pets when needed, so we understand the importance of finding someone who is trustworthy, reliable, and responsible, but also someone who can make your pet feel a little less alone when you are away. Let us be the break your pet needs throughout the day! We do walks, dog parks, stop-in visits, brief home visits, or longer stays (up to two weeks - and at our place only please). We also do baths, play time (obviously!), and errands. We can also follow any training techniques in place. I’m self employed, running a nonprofit that serves veterans and first responders. We advocate and bring awareness to suicide prevention and mental health initiatives. Since I’m self employed, and given the nature of the daily operations pertaining to my job, I have flexibility. Our “dog proof” home comes with a large, fenced in backyard. We have a doggie pool, all basic dog supplies, dog training supplies, all basic cat supplies, leashes, etc. If we are traveling to your home, we suggest that you send us clear, step-by-step instructions and any expectations you may have, and trust that we will exceed your expectations. We genuinely just love animals and want to help out other pet owners while making a little cash.
“Brandee was a phenomenal pet caregiver professional, friendly, and incredibly dependable. Brandee arrived right on time and followed every instruction perfectly. Junny went above and beyond accommodating my unusual schedule to best support my cat and two dogs. He gave my cat daily medication, engaged my ever energetic puppy, and doted on all three. I am grateful for his help and flexibility and for the adorable photos he shared throughout the week!

Cannot recommend Adam enough. Friendly, professional, and a clear animal lover. We have two cats who aren’t usually friendly to new people, and I work from home so they’re not used to being in an empty house. We were surprised how quickly they warmed up to Adam during his visits, and honestly they seemed disappointed when we came back!
Absolutely amazing cat sitter — could not recommend Liyuan more highly! Liyuan took exceptional care of my cat, Lottie, and I truly could not have asked for a better sitter. From the very beginning, she was thoughtful, responsible, and incredibly attentive. She treated Lottie not just as a pet, but as her own baby — with genuine care, patience, and affection.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
