“My dog, Lady, goes to Heather’s house five days a week, and clearly loves it. She’s ready to jump out of the car as soon as we pull up, and looks almost sad to leave her new friends everyday.”

“Anna and her nice family made Pandora feel right at home! So glad I found Anna. She will be my first choice to take care of Pandora in the future! Very sweet and friendly family.”

“Excellent last minute availability and super close to the Las Vegas Strip. She has the sweetest Pomeranian. She took excellent care of my little dog and even administered her meds as requested. Will absolutely contact again next time in Vegas. Thank you so much!”

“Winston played with a friend and seemed to enjoy himself! Dymin watched him from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and he seemed tuckered out when I picked him up. Thank you Dymin!”

“10/10! Hannah was awesome and super easy to communicate with! Kona had such a great time with his new friends! She made everything super easy for us and was so welcoming. I felt safe bringing Kona over and knew that he was in good hands. Hannah sent a lot of photos and videos while I was away at work which I love! Her dogs are also super sweet and very playful. I can’t wait to go back to Hannah and definitely recommend!”

About: I have worked with 2 rescues in the Las Vegas area for several years, volunteering and fostering. I currently have my 33rd foster. My home has been inspected and approved by both rescues for all dogs, small to large. I primarily do medical rehabs and I am comfortable administering any medications or working with any pet who might have specific needs that require a little extra care. Having worked with so many pups without information about their background, I am able to quickly read each pup and adjust for their safety, comfort and individual personalities. My home is quiet and serene for animals that are not used to noise and they will have total access to the backyard thru the doggie door. I will keep your baby on the schedule they are used to. Not only will your baby be safe, we will have a lot of fun. I will engage them with puzzles, games of hide and seek, playtime, walks, and endless snuggles and will send pictures and videos throughout their time with me. I currently work from home so I will be able to keep a close eye on your baby. I do daily walks and we visit the dog park often. All my animals have the freedom to enjoy the entire home. I will not crate your pet unless specifically asked to. I have a doggy door for easy access and my dogs sleep in the bed with me. I do not have children and I live alone so my home is very quiet.
“David was a kind and caring dog watcher. He went above and beyond our expectations. Kept us informed with pictures, making us feel comfortable during our night out. Thank you David. Go nuggets!”

About: With over 8 years of hands-on experience, I offer loving, dependable care tailored to each pet’s needs. I’m a proud pet parent to a 5 year old border collie and 14 year old Mini Pinscher, so I understand the patience and attentiveness senior pets require. I’ve also worked at my family’s rescue shelter in Mexico, where I helped raise puppies and care for older dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Caring for animals has always been one of my passions, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I have completely open schedule, allowing me to provide flexible and attentive in-home boarding for pets. Since I focus exclusively on boarding in my home, I’m able to give pets plenty of supervision, care, and companionship throughout the day. I’m available for weekdays, weekends, and extended stays, and I strive to create a safe, comfortable environment where pets feel at home. Pets in my home receive attentive, loving care in a calm and safe environment. I prioritize comfort, routine, playtime, and supervision, ensuring every furry guest feels secure, happy, and at home.
“Chase was great! Took Leo for a walk, fed him and looks like our highly anxious dog felt like home with him. We greatly appreciate the care Chase took of Leo!”

“Karyn did an amazing job watching my dog! He’s usually very picky about where he feels comfortable (he literally won’t poop if he’s not into the environment), but with Karyn, he was totally relaxed and happy. Every time I picked him up, he was excited but clearly had a great time while I was away. Karyn was super responsive and gave me peace of mind knowing he was in good hands!”

“Jaclyn baby sat my pup on a whim. We traveled to Vegas for a wedding. I messaged her hours before and she was quick to respond and took very good care of my boy. She was so sweet and sent me pictures of my pup. He is a young blue heeler. I was so happy with her service and would recommend her to anyone! Thanks again girl! ❤️”

My background is a degree in Behavioral Psychology, working for Veterinarians and top rated boarding facilities. I've owned my pet care business for over 32 years. I provide the care I always craved for my pets and could never find. I have been a full time, professional pet caregiver for over 32 years. Why I love dog sitting I'm 62 and have always had pets. I have volunteered for domestic and wildlife rescue. Years ago I decided I needed a break from a very high stress career I was involved in and took a break. While on that break I went to work for a 5 star boarding facility in Oakland, Ca. I learned so much and trained with some of the best in the industry. I moved on to work with Veterinarians in their offices. What I learned was invaluable and instead of going back to my high stress job I decided to go out on my own and care for dogs my way, full time. I've never regretted my decision. My experience administering medication Yes, I can administer oral and do sub-q injections. Pet care is the best part of my day. My life revolves around animal care. I have been a full time companion animal caregiver for many years. Pets are most comfortable staying in their home and sticking to the routine they are accustomed to while their humans are away from them. My style is a favorite Auntie has come to stay and soak them in love and attention. Pet care is the best part of my day. I am semi retired. Dogs are kind enough to let me live in their home- I'm a softie. Dogs are allowed on the furniture and sleep in bed with me. I'm fine with following owners instructions but I like to to give them a vacation from so many rules if possible. Let's PLAY! I am semi retired. Taking care of beloved pets is a joy and takes up the majority of my day. Your pet and I will spend quality time together. Like kids, their schedule comes first. They depend on us for bathroom breaks and food, least we can do to be attentive to those simple needs. Because I care for your pets in your home I am able to follow the routine they are used to. I love to spoil pets. Let me know what their favorite things are to do and their favorite treats.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Winchester commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NV ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
