“Chase was great! Took Leo for a walk, fed him and looks like our highly anxious dog felt like home with him. We greatly appreciate the care Chase took of Leo!”

About: With over 8 years of hands-on experience, I offer loving, dependable care tailored to each pet’s needs. I’m a proud pet parent to a 5 year old border collie and 14 year old Mini Pinscher, so I understand the patience and attentiveness senior pets require. I’ve also worked at my family’s rescue shelter in Mexico, where I helped raise puppies and care for older dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Caring for animals has always been one of my passions, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I have completely open schedule, allowing me to provide flexible and attentive in-home boarding for pets. Since I focus exclusively on boarding in my home, I’m able to give pets plenty of supervision, care, and companionship throughout the day. I’m available for weekdays, weekends, and extended stays, and I strive to create a safe, comfortable environment where pets feel at home. Pets in my home receive attentive, loving care in a calm and safe environment. I prioritize comfort, routine, playtime, and supervision, ensuring every furry guest feels secure, happy, and at home.
“Sandra is the most caring dog sitter I have ever met! She took our dog, Sasha, on a 3-mile walk. She also took the time to play games with her and gave her lots of attention. Sandra understands a lot about dog behaviors and recommended some great puzzles for dogs. We booked Sandra at the last minute, and she was so accommodating. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who needs a sitter!”

About: I offer loving, reliable care with a boutique touch. Whether it’s belly rubs, playtime, or just keeping your fur baby safe and happy while you’re away, I treat every pet like family. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine because I keep my schedule open and flexible. I’m home very often, I plan my days around the needs of the pets I’m watching, and I make sure I have plenty of time for walks, feeding, playtime, and check‑ins. I don’t overbook myself, so your pet always gets my full attention. I keep the atmosphere fun and engaging with toys, affection, and plenty of attention, while still maintaining structure and safety. I’m always monitoring their comfort, behavior, and well‑being, and I make sure they never feel lonely or stressed.
About: I've had dogs for over 20 years but began fostering dogs about 6 years ago. I have fostered with the NSPCA and other organizations both here in Las Vegas and in California. I love animals and always want to make sure that they are cared for. I have nursed dogs back to health from many different situations. I am kind and outgoing and have a passion for taking care of animals and making sure all their needs are met. I am used to giving medications to animals and have dealt with dogs that have seizures and dogs with severe allergies as well. I am a stay at home mom so my schedule is open to being available whenever needed and I'm more than happy to help at any time. I have a completely fenced in yard as well as a fenced in pool with lock so no dogs get in to that area. I have crates for dogs as well but I am home mostly always and I am always available to let them out and be with them while they are in my home.
About: Growing up, our dogs weren't "pets." They had names, opinions, and their own spot on the couch. That's just how we did it, and that's exactly how I treat every dog in my care. I have real experience across the full spectrum of dog needs. Puppies who haven't figured out their own legs yet? Handled with patience and a lot of laughs. Senior dogs who need a slower pace, a softer touch, and maybe some help at medication time? Honestly, that's one of my favorite ways to spend an afternoon. Dogs with behavioral challenges or special needs don't make me hesitate. They make me pay closer attention. I've fostered young dogs and worked with strays to socialize them from fearful to fully adoptable. That kind of work teaches you things no training manual covers. Reading subtle body language. Building trust from scratch. Knowing when a dog needs excitement and when they need quiet. Every dog that comes through my door gets treated like family. Not like a booking. If you want to talk through what your dog needs before committing to anything, I genuinely love those conversations. Reach out! My schedule is genuinely flexible. I work from home running my own businesses, which means I'm not squeezing your dog into a lunch break. Morning walks, midday check-ins, late pickups. I take one client at a time, so your pet isn't competing for attention with a houseful of other dogs. The day actually wraps around them. My home is a house with a fenced yard in Green Valley South. Dogs are welcome on the furniture and the bed. That's not a policy. It's just how we live. When I'm at your place instead, your pet's routine stays exactly as you left it. Same schedule, same rules, same spots. I'm there to look after your pet, not redecorate their life.
About: I’ve taken care of countless pets, including both dogs and cats, since I was 10. Friends, family and neighbors have relied on me to feed, bathe, walk and play with their pets. I also have experience providing specialized care for elderly pets that need medication. I work from home, and I can take breaks to play. I'm available all day for walks, feeding and to pay close and special attention to your fur baby! I will be courteous while taking care of the pets in your home. While boarding them at mine, I have a safe neighborhood with a dog walking area and trails and Foxridge Park around the corner. I will be able to provide a safe home. I have no pets of my own, so your fur baby will have all my attention!

About: I have nearly 10 years experience with providing dog walking, pet sitting and basic grooming. I have worked in a dog salon where I learned handling methods, how to read body language, positive reinforcement, and grooming care. I have assisted my family with caring for an equestrian ranch while they travel; feeding, checking water, cleaning stalls and doing turn outs. I have a flexible schedule for working with your care needs. Just ask and I will find some time to help out where I can. For care at my home I have a fenced in pet yard. I have an 8 year old child so I can only offer care at my home for pets that are friendly with kids.

About: I became a pet lover way later in life than I preferred. Now that I’m in love, I can’t help but share the wealth. I love giving cuddles, playing fetch, tug-of-war, and spoiling all sizes of canine with treats while teaching them something new. I’ve had a chihuahua / rat terrier mix (small - 14 lbs.) and a Basenji (medium - 40 lbs.). Currently, I do not have any animals but I am looking to rescue another one soon. Hopefully, caring for your loved ones will help me decide in the next breed I want to join my family. I wish I could rescue them all. I don’t have my motorcycle anymore so no moto adventures for any of your family. That was strictly for my Ruby (Basenji). I may look rough around the edges but I have a heart of gold. I am the go-to for all dog-sitting requests amongst everyone I know. Reach out and get the information you need. I’m ready to continue your family routine and more when you are away. Taking care of your loved ones would be my only priority, I do not have another job. They would get all of my time and attention. My yard is perfectly suited for numerous potty breaks. I love walks as much as the dogs so taking a few walks a day (when cool enough to do so) would also be a highlight. Pets will have a run of most of the house. The only two rooms off limit are the formal living room and one bedroom used as storage. Rooms that are available are my bedroom, informal living room, dining room, kitchen, back and front yards, pool, etc.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Whitney
Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of our fur baby today! We truly feel so lucky to have found you. Your communication was absolutely exceptional. The updates, photos, videos, and messages throughout the day gave us so much peace of mind and reassured us that our baby was happy, safe, and in the best possible hands. One of the biggest challenges whenever we plan an outing is finding someone we can genuinely trust to care for our dog. We've even skipped trips in the past because we couldn't find the right person. Today completely changed that for us. Your experience, patience, attention to detail, and the genuine love and care you showed made all the difference. We could tell our fur baby was comfortable and well cared for, and that means the world to us. We truly can't thank you enough. You are an exceptional dog sitter, and we're so grateful for everything you did. We look forward to having you care for our fur baby again in the future! Will recommend Sandra to anyone looking to take care of your fur baby to feel they are just like they are in home.

When the AC on my RV went out, I suddenly needed day care for my dog. Tiffany accepted my same day request, took great care of him, & sent me pics throughout the day to calm me. This was my first time using Rover, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Whitney commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in NV ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
