About: I had a lot of pets my whole life and I feel like im a pretty responsible pet sitter. my mom taught me a lot about training dogs too. currently looking for a part time job and other than that I don't have much going on and have a lot of free time right now i live in a little community. my porch has a tall fence and gate around it and my whole house is pet proof for my pets. I also have a another place, I stay at with a yard and other things for certain occasions.

About: The only thing that makes a walk better is a furry friend to share it with! I have been walking neighbors/friends dogs for 3 years, and have just moved to the Las Vegas area! I equally love to pet/house sit, I am an excellent communicator, and have a very flexible schedule! I'm currently working part-time and have a very flexible schedule. I am available for house/pet sitting any day of the week, and am happy to stop by for walks or potty breaks during the day. When pet sitting in a client's house, pets often are extra comfortable being in the space they know so well. In my experience, pet owners always leave instructions when needed, and I take extra care to make sure both the pet owner and furry friends feel safe with me in their space.
“Adriana is so sweet with our two dogs. One has recently needed some medications administered after a procedure and Adriana took on the additional responsibility without hesitation. She’s been with us now for over a year and we are so happy we found her. Highly recommend!”

About: Hi, I’m Alyssa! I’m so glad you’re here. I believe our pets are family, and when they’re in my care, that’s exactly how I’ll treat them. With over 18 years of hands on experience caring for dogs of different breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities, I’ve learned that every dog is unique. Some love adventure and play, while others simply want a calm, reassuring companion. I take the time to get to know your dog’s routine, personality, and preferences so they feel safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. What sets me apart is the level of attention and heart I bring to every visit. I’m dependable, patient, observant, and fully present with the animals I care for. I pay attention to the little things, whether it’s noticing changes in behavior, making sure they stay hydrated in the Las Vegas heat, or giving them the extra affection and reassurance they need while you’re away. I know trusting someone with your pet and your home is a big decision, so communication is a priority. You’ll receive photo updates and messages so you can enjoy your time away with confidence, knowing your best friend is happy, safe, and well cared for. My goal is simple: to provide reliable, loving care that gives you peace of mind and leaves your dog excited to see me again. I can’t wait to meet you and your pup! Pet care fits naturally into my schedule because I own my own coaching business and have the flexibility to plan my day around my clients’ and pets’ needs. This allows me to accommodate morning, afternoon, evening, weekend, and many holiday visits with advance notice. Whether your pet needs a walk, a drop in visit, overnight care, or simply some extra love and attention while you’re away, I’m committed to providing dependable, consistent care. I intentionally avoid overbooking so I can give each pet the time, attention, and quality care they deserve. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well being are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn your pet’s routine, personality, medical needs, feeding schedule, exercise preferences, and any special instructions so I can provide care that’s as consistent as possible with what they’re used to. When caring for pets in your home, I treat both your home and your pet with the utmost respect. I pay close attention to doors, gates, leashes, and the environment to help keep your pet safe at all times. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can feel confident knowing how your pet is doing while you’re away. For pets staying in my home, I provide a calm, clean, and loving environment where they receive plenty of attention, exercise, fresh water, and affection. I intentionally limit the number of pets I care for at one time so each one receives personalized attention and doesn’t become overwhelmed. My goal is for both you and your pet to feel comfortable, cared for, and at ease from the moment we meet until you’re reunited.
“Hilda spent the Christmas-New Years week with our pups and they loved her! Daily walks and occasional feedings. Hilda was exceptional - professional, kind, and thoughtful throughout. HIGHLY recommended for all of your Rover needs!”

I also have experience providing specialized care for elderly pets that need medication. I work from home, and I can take breaks to play. I'm available all day for walks, feeding and to pay close and special attention to your fur baby! I will be courteous while taking care of the pets in your home. While boarding them at mine, I have a safe neighborhood with a dog walking area and trails and Foxridge Park around the corner. I will be able to provide a safe home. I have no pets of my own, so your fur baby will have all my attention!
“I can’t recommend Jamie enough! She was incredibly reliable and was willing to step in last minute to walk Chewy when I had to leave for a trip. Chewy absolutely adores her. He waits by the door for her knock and gets so excited every time she comes by. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. She was truly the best dog walker we could ask for!”

About: I have nearly 10 years experience with providing dog walking, pet sitting and basic grooming. I have worked in a dog salon where I learned handling methods, how to read body language, positive reinforcement, and grooming care. I have assisted my family with caring for an equestrian ranch while they travel; feeding, checking water, cleaning stalls and doing turn outs. I have a flexible schedule for working with your care needs. Just ask and I will find some time to help out where I can. For care at my home I have a fenced in pet yard. I have an 8 year old child so I can only offer care at my home for pets that are friendly with kids.

About: I have had dogs & cats my whole life! I can't imagine not taking care of a dog or cat! I'll never let any harm come to your pets! When your pets aren’t playing in my backyard, swimming in my pool, or doing their business they will have one of the guest rooms in my house to chill. Meet Ethel – Our Official Boarding Hostess 🐶 After I retired in June 2023, I began boarding and walking dogs through Rover and Wag. What I didn’t expect was to end up with a 50/50 business partner. Ethel joined my life officially on January 2, 2025, after boarding with me several times throughout 2024. She quickly proved herself to be calm, confident, and remarkably good at managing group dynamics. A few days after she moved in, I discovered something extraordinary: Ethel was born on my 58th birthday—the very morning I was out walking a dog named Cuda. Since then, Ethel has become the heart of my home-based boarding setup. She’s the official hostess, a natural leader during playtime, and the quiet enforcer of naptime. Boarding runs smoother with her here—less chaos, better routines, and happier dogs all around. Think of her as the technical advisor for playtime logistics… and my most valuable coworker. I will follow their owner’s exact specifications. As long as it is safe and healthy for the dog or cat, I'll follow the owner's directions verbatim! I have always fed my dogs and cats Science Diet pet food!

Deirdre was exceptional, communication, timely manner, care for the pets and care for the home when she did not have to. We recommend her 100% for care for any of your animals and we will be using her in the future. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or want a personal recommendation.

Jamie was absolutely wonderful with our sweet Bruno! She was reliable, communicative, and kept us updated throughout our trip with lots of pictures and messages, which gave us so much peace of mind. Most importantly, Bruno adored her, and it was clear she genuinely cared for him and took great care of him while we were away. We really appreciated her kindness, attention, and consistency. We would not hesitate to book with Jamie again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter. 🐾💕

Michelle has been an amazing dog walker for my girl. I can tell she's getting what she needs as she's super content when I get home. I really appreciate Michelle's prompt communication and care of each individual animal. You can feel Michelle's love of animals when you meet her and immediately feel at ease having her take care of your baby.

Dawnn is helping us change the confidence level in our BMD. We need to travel and we knew we could not board our girl because of her fear of other people. We hired Dawnn to come once a week to walk our girl and get to know her before we have Dawnn house and dog sit. Dawnn has no problem controlling our 100 lb gal. I think we are on our 4th walk and she is so happy to see her. She jumps right in her car and is ready to go to the park. Little by little she comes out of her shell. I’m so glad we tried this approach. Dawnn is sooo good with her!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
