“I couldnt ask for a better dog walker than Josh. When my pitty Mia hears him walk in she is besides herself with excitment. Josh is dependable to a fault. I hired him to walk Mia for 7 weeks while I was out of town and he didn't miss a day. Oh, and great guy too.”

“Erin did a meet and greet before accepting my request for a walk which reassured me more that she would take care of my pup! She was very sweet and attentive. I will definitely walk with her again!”

“Anna does a great job walking our high energy Golden Retriever Maddie. Maddie isn't the easiest dog to walk and can be tough to handle at times. But we trust Anna to keep her in line. I really appreciate her doing this for us.”

About: My husband Michael and I are passionate, lifelong dog lovers who truly treat every pet as family. We’ve both grown up with dogs and can’t imagine life without them. Today, we share our home with our two beloved fur babies: Bella, our sweet 12-year-old Samoyed, and Little Dawg Snacks, our fun-loving 7-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog/Poodle mix. In our home, dogs aren’t just pets—they’re family. Our pups are welcome everywhere with us, including on the furniture and snuggled up in bed at night. We believe dogs thrive on love, comfort, and companionship, and we’re proud to offer a home full of all three. We take our dogs along whenever possible, ensuring they’re included, stimulated, and never feel left out. When caring for your fur baby, we provide the same level of love, attention, and respect that we give our own. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, walks, or simply keeping them company, we’re dedicated to making sure every dog feels safe, happy, and right at home. You can rest easy knowing your pet will be cared for by experienced, attentive sitters who genuinely adore animals and treat them like part of the family. 🐾❤️ We have a 10 year old Samoyed that goes everywhere with us. Our Bella is our family and we take her everywhere with us and make sure she gets as much attention as we can give her. It is very important to make sure each pet feels comfortable and safe in our care. Making sure we are calming and relaxing around the pets.

A two story house with a gate if needed. A turf with space to run on.
About: I’ve always loved all types of dogs. Enjoyed taking them on walks. Playing hide seek and tug of war. Rewarding with treats. Loving animals is healing. With my new retirement, I would enjoy filling it with puppies to play with, that I would take the very best care of. I have a fenced yard and one friendly dog to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your dog if needed. I will ensure your fur baby is safe from eating and chewing anything not supposed to.
About: I've had a variety of pets since I was a kid. In the last 8 years, I decided to take my experience with dog walking to the next level. I have the most experience with leash training. It does take a bit of time for dogs, especially puppies, to get accustomed to walking with a leash. I feel the most satisfaction when I can teach an old (or young) dog new tricks. My mornings start with pet care — before work, I make sure any pets in my care are fed, checked on, gone for a walk and settled for the day. It’s a routine I already follow with my own cats, Francis and LJ, so caring for yours fits naturally into my day. For drop-in visits, I follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible — feeding on schedule, fresh water, and a walk or playtime depending on their needs. For cats, that includes litter box maintenance and making sure they feel comfortable rather than rushed. I always do a quick check for anything unusual — appetite, mood, or behavior — so you’re kept in the loop. My goal is for your pet to feel like their day went on as normal, even with you away.

About: I treat every pup like they’re my own with lots of love, patience, and plenty of tail-wagging fun included. I make sure each walk is a happy adventure your dog will look forward to every day. I’m reliable, attentive, and genuinely love spending time with dogs! I currently work evenings or nights so I have plenty of time during the day to walk your pups! Morning or afternoon times work best! I don’t currently have any pets at my home, but I can crate them in your home or make sure they are safe/ in the back yard.

About: I have taking care of dogs for over 10 years. My personal dogs plus friend's and family's while away. Let me take care of yours. Our 13 year old pity Bruno went to doggie heaven (2020) and we haven't been able to get another one since, so this would be a great chance to play with doggies until we decide to get another. We would love to watch your baby at our home for Overnight stays or for a few hours. Prefer weekends but can watch during the week too. I have a gated yard for your pups to play + a little child who can play and keep them company. I have a fenced in yard with artificial grass for dogs to run and play. The grass is cleaned and deodorized weekly. Doggies will be inside our home unless they are supervised outside. Can't wait to meet your dog! Little and medium size dogs welcome.
“Sara is very reliable and punctual. She knows what our baby Chester (100lb American Akita) needs while we are away. Good energy, playfulness and meaningful walks. Very satisfied with her dog care service.”

About: I’ve taken care of and lived with dogs and cats since a very young age. I started with caring for my neighbors animals and started doing it professionally 5 years ago as a freshman in highschool. I would stay overnight and work with multiple animals at once. I also have cared for animals for up to one month at a time. I am prepared to cater to all animals needs and do everything necessary to keep them safe and happy. I recently moved to Henderson from Oregon and currently work in real estate, which gives me a flexible schedule and open availability. My career allows me to manage my time well and be dependable, responsive, and accommodating to both clients and pets’ needs. I make sure every animal receives the proper exercise, attention, and nutrition while in my care. I understand that some pets may feel nervous or anxious when away from their family, so I always take the time to help them feel comfortable and secure by maintaining a routine as close as possible to what they are used to at home.

Final pricing depends on your dog's size, coat, and the services requested. >Specialize in small and medium-sized dogs. >Offer deshedding treatments. >Have experience with anxious and senior dogs. >Focus on one-on-one care, so dogs receive your full attention rather than being in a busy salon. I work from home, so I'm home most of the day and can give your dog lots of attention and care. I have a doggy door leading to a secure fenced backyard, so pups can go outside whenever they need. Since I groom from home, I'm rarely away for long, and your dog will be in a calm, supervised environment throughout their stay. I live in a single-family home with a securely fenced backyard where dogs have plenty of room to play. I also have two friendly dogs—a gentle retriever and a tiny Yorkie—who love making new friends. Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Henderson
Joshua was fantastic with Meeko! He took Meeko on a 60-minute walk through our local park, making the whole experience easy and stress-free. Joshua was an excellent communicator from start to finish, accommodated my request without any issues, and earned my trust right away. It was clear Meeko was in great hands. I would absolutely book with Joshua again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog walker!

Michelle is amazing and having her and her boyfriend walk Carter has been awesome. Carter loves walking with them both. Michele has been extremely good with communication and has a great personality. I would highly recommend her to take care of any pet you may have.

I am so grateful to have found Kerri C. through Rover! I needed to go out of state for 3 days and didn’t know who I was going find to watch my dogs. I will admit I am a “helicopter” dog mom! So when my dogs, Kelby and Luna, instantly loved Kerri…I knew I could relax they were in good hands. Thank you Kerri…you’re the BEST!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
