Some of my favorite memories growing up involve dogs curled up next to me on the couch, playing outside until they were completely worn out, or spending quiet evenings with my cat in my lap. Caring for animals has never felt like a chore to me—it’s something I genuinely love. Over the years I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities. Right now I have a service dog who has taught me so much about patience and understanding anxious pets. Because she needs extra reassurance, I’ve learned to pay attention to body language, build trust at each dog’s pace, and create an environment where they feel safe and comfortable. I also have a 10-year-old cat that I’ve raised since she was young. When she started having trouble using her litter box, I didn’t give up or get frustrated. I’m especially comfortable caring for pets with medical needs. I’ve also administered eye drops, ear medication, and oral medications to my own dogs, including caring for one of my dogs while he struggled with painful eye conditions that required daily treatment. About: I’ve had one dog personally, multiple fish, and a hamster, but specialize in senior/disabled pet care. Within my family I often take care of a service animal black lab and a special needs lab. Outside experience includes house sitting for a large dog breed home for consecutive days, a home with three Guinea pigs, a multi-cat home, and a saltwater tank. There is a trail/park in my neighborhood where I can take them on walks that they would really enjoy! About: I am a student. I have three dogs of my own ranging from 65 pounds to 6 pounds. I accept all pets. I love training and giving the attention needed to ensure happiness for all animals. I’m doing this not only because I love being around animals but also just gain experience with different breeds and hopefully more cats & smaller animals ❤️ I do have a part time job that starts at 7:00pm- 1200am Sunday-Thursdays . Like my own pets, yours will be taken care of before and after work so ideally the pet care would have to be with animals familiar with longer hours alone on those days. I can easily crate the animal if needed, make any type of barrier or so if needed. I will always be cautious when it comes to the safety of someone else’s pet because I know that’s how I would want someone to treat my pet. I DO NOT stay overnight when House Sitting. It’s a preference for my safety and ideal with my everyday schedule. I will stay as long as possible during the day and make your pet comfortable as possible to be able to be alone during the night.
