About: I am a huge animal lover and have always had pets. I currently have a 5 year old Min Pin Chihuahua mix and a 1 year old Chihuahua Pug mix. I have also had cats and one was asthmatic. I have experience in handling all types of personalities, ages, breeds and am comfortable with administrating medications as needed. I am available for drop in visits and walks. I have been able to earn the trust from animals that are timid and/or not people friendly. I believe pets are our family and should be treated and cared for the same. I will also send photos and a report about each visit and walk. I am also pretty flexible with my schedule during the day as I am currently a stay at home mom. I am a stay at home mom and I like animals more than people. 😁 I have to time and want to give your pet(s). I will follow all rules for the safety of your pet and your home. Leashes don’t come off until we are inside with the doors shut and locked. If we have to be in my home, I do have a fenced backyard (however it is all rock so not much fun).

Now a little bit more about my experience and practices. I grew up around dogs of all sorts and have a soft spot for Bully breeds. I have experience with dogs of all sorts from small to large and everything in between. I've got plenty of cat experience as well. Your dog will be treated like family when they're with me just as they should be. When it comes to beds and the couch for boarding and day care I'll follow whatever you do in your own home. If you don't allow them on the bed in your home I won't allow them on the bed in mine. Bad habits are hard to break and I understand this from first hand experience. I love questions so please feel free to ask away. I want your experience to be as pleasant and stress free as possible. I currently do multi-day fostering and field trips through a local shelter when I have openings in my schedule. Part of the proceeds I receive through Rover go towards toys and private dog park play for the dogs I foster. I work from home so I'm able to provide plenty of potty breaks and playtime theoughout the day. If you're in a pinch I do offer same day bookings so please feel free to reach out. I will feed, administer medication, provide water, and stimulate your dog with short or long walks and play time. For cats I'll do the same minus the walks unless you've got a cat that goes on walks.

About: I’ve always loved animals! I’ve consistently taken care of cats for 30 years. I grew up with a few dogs but they have passed. I was able to take care of them as they were older so I do have experience with senior dogs with special needs. I am kind and gentle and will love your fur/furless baby like it is my own!! At my home I will be the primary caretaker for your pets. I can’t say they won’t get extra love from my children or husband! My kids love to cuddle the animals and be close to them so friendly lovable babies are always welcome. Not to say that babies that don’t love cuddles aren’t! Of course they are I just need to know before the stay. I appreciate full transparency with your animals. Please be sure to fill me in on all the details of your animal so I can give the best care possible. Please be ready share with me any and all behaviors and or quirks. Just share so we can make sure it’s their best fit here. Animals are my life and their safety is very important to me as well as the safety of my family, home and myself of course!! Since I have little kids please only reach out if your pets are friendly with children. I also do not do late night drop offs or pick ups. We look forward to meeting new neighbors and animals 😊 My number one priority for your pets stay is a happy and safe vacation for them and you! However; we live in an imperfect world and accidents can happen, I would like to work with clients who are willing to work TOGETHER to find solutions to things that may arise. I am pretty free and open! Will be flexible to work with your schedule. Available most days of the week mornings and into the evenings. For pets that come to our home it will be a free for all throughout the house. For cats that stay I do request you bring their litter box. I will not let cats out of my house even if they use to being outdoors. They will not be familiar with my neighborhood so they will be kept indoors.

They are my first experience with rover let alone having someone else walk my two dogs (Great Dane and small Cur mix). My Smaller dog is very skiddish of people and while we’ve been in training for it, she warmed up to Tara immediately because she felt comfortable.
