About: I've owned dogs my entire life and currently have an 8 year old Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mix. I've gone through extensive training over the last 8 years that I've used to help friends and family with their dogs, as well as providing dog sitting care. I absolutely adore dogs and have worked with many different types of breeds of all sizes. I'm an active outside person with access to many parks and walking paths within 2 miles of my house. Im a stay at home dog mom so I have the ability to provide around the clock care for your fur babies. I have access to many beautiful outdoor areas and make full use of them! My backyard is big enough for medium/small sized dogs to run and play, but long walks and lots of playtime are also an everyday activity here. I have a fenced in yard as well as cameras that alert to motion around the property. I also have crates and gates to section off areas of the house should your pet need more safe place reassurance. For safety, and to make sure accidents never happen, the cats have their own space and never have access to the same spaces your fur baby is in. My pets are highly socialized and have been around many different animals/pets and are always well behaved.

I have experience with crate training, positive reinforcement training, puppy training, XL breeds, travel, group walks and medical care. I also foster dogs through Hearts Alive Village. I currently have a mini husky and a great dane - please confirm that your dog is comfortable with XL breed dogs (we can arrange a meet and greet if needed). Safety and comfort of your pet is my top priority. Please no un-neutered dogs. Thank you I work from home full time and take routine breaks to care for the dogs and give them some love. I live right next to a great trail that I use regularly for walks in the evening. There is a large dog door for easy in and out to a secure, fenced yard. The dogs have plenty of water, patio misters to keep them cool, a clean turf play area that is sanitized regularly, multiple dog beds and blankets for them to relax and baby gates to keep them out of mischief.

About: I’ve had a dog(or multiple) in my house since I was 6 years old. From the start I treated them with kindness and patience. Especially since I had a gentle giant of a dog. I did start taking care of my dogs when I was 12 years old though and it was exhausting but so worth it. I’ve seen my dogs grow up for 10 years and they’re still wild as puppies. I give my current dogs various medications and have special diets. I just got a puppy so that’s been a good challenge. I am currently potty training, deterring unwanted habits, playing for hours a day, and watching her so closely. I love all pets though, I just have more experience with dogs, and quick at adapting to special needs and dogs with boundaries. I am available any weekday, and am able to have a free weekend. I take turns with my mom watching our rescue puppy but she is mostly guaranteed to be home or able to take her on car rides if I need to be somewhere else. I also have a reliable car I cannot care for your pets at my home, we have 3 dogs and only one gets very unhappy with other dogs so it’s best not to overwhelm him. However! I can and will respect your home or living space if you’ll allow me, I don’t need much, just the supplies needed to care for your pet and some space to occupy myself(if pet sitting). I care for my current pets by paying attention to what they’re trying to communicate, whether they need to go outside, play, eat, or get comfy. I walk my dogs very carefully, not pulling on the leash too hard but establishing some control if necessary.

Lots of rubs, a walk, or just someone to lay with i'm there. I live in apartment thats very pet friendly, have potty area outside and take daily walks. “This is a late review. My apologies. Because when you find somewhere to leave your fur baby that is safe; well taken care of and so happy when he returns to me, then it should be shouted from the highest mountain. My large breed dog (German Shepherd), named Sir, is so comfortable staying overnight; often 5-7 days. I am able to go on vacation worry free. Scretta was especially accommodating when my flight was delayed. I will continue to place Sir in her capable hands for all my future needs.”
