About: I've had dogs for over 20 years but began fostering dogs about 6 years ago. I have fostered with the NSPCA and other organizations both here in Las Vegas and in California. I love animals and always want to make sure that they are cared for. I have nursed dogs back to health from many different situations. I am kind and outgoing and have a passion for taking care of animals and making sure all their needs are met. I am used to giving medications to animals and have dealt with dogs that have seizures and dogs with severe allergies as well. About: I’ve been an animal lover my entire life, and honestly, there’s nowhere I’d rather be than surrounded by animals! I’m a stay-at-home fur baby mom, so I’m home throughout the day caring for my pets, and my boyfriend also works from home and loves helping out. We live next to Whole Foods and have plenty of parks and walking areas nearby, so there are lots of opportunities to get outside, sniff around, explore, and enjoy the day. Inside our home, pets are treated like family. They’re welcome on the furniture, welcome to cuddle, and I usually like keeping everyone close to me throughout the day. If your pet prefers some alone time or needs their own quiet space, that’s totally fine too! We have plenty of room, including a separate second-floor office area where they can relax, sleep, eat, or decompress away from the other animals if needed. I’m also big on the little things that keep pets comfortable. I wipe paws after walks, make sure they always have fresh water during walks and am happy to give baths when appropriate or brush teeth. I’ll always do my best to stick to your pet’s normal schedule, feeding routine, sleeping preferences, and any special instructions you have. I also have experience caring for senior dogs. My sweet Mochi lived to 19 years old, so I understand how much extra patience, gentleness, and attention older pets can need. That experience taught me to slow down, notice small changes, and adjust care based on what an animal is telling me. Most importantly, I treat every pet like they’re my own. I know how hard it can be to leave your fur baby with someone else, so I want you to feel completely comfortable knowing they’re being loved, watched over, and spoiled while you’re away. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, happy, relaxed, and right at home with us—and hopefully excited to come back and visit again! Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine because I’m home throughout the day and already structure my schedule around caring for my own pets. With dogs, cats, and rabbits at home, my days revolve around feeding, walks, playtime, enrichment, cleaning, cuddles, and making sure everyone gets the individual attention they need. Because I have a flexible schedule and am home most of the day, I’m able to give the pets I care for plenty of attention, companionship, and supervision rather than leaving them alone for long periods. Safety and comfort are always my priorities. In my home, pets are supervised closely and introduced carefully to the environment and other animals when appropriate. I follow each pet’s normal feeding, walking, medication, sleeping, and exercise routine as closely as possible, and I make sure they have a clean, comfortable space where they can relax and feel secure. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect both their home and their pet’s established routine. I follow all instructions carefully, keep doors and gates secured, monitor behavior, appetite, and overall well-being, and give each pet the amount of attention and interaction they’re comfortable with. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident that their pets are safe, happy, and well cared for.
About: I’ve always loved animals! I’ve consistently taken care of cats for 30 years. I grew up with a few dogs but they have passed. I was able to take care of them as they were older so I do have experience with senior dogs with special needs. I am kind and gentle and will love your fur/furless baby like it is my own!! At my home I will be the primary caretaker for your pets. I can’t say they won’t get extra love from my children or husband! My kids love to cuddle the animals and be close to them so friendly lovable babies are always welcome. Not to say that babies that don’t love cuddles aren’t! Of course they are I just need to know before the stay. I appreciate full transparency with your animals. Please be sure to fill me in on all the details of your animal so I can give the best care possible. Please be ready share with me any and all behaviors and or quirks. Just share so we can make sure it’s their best fit here. Animals are my life and their safety is very important to me as well as the safety of my family, home and myself of course!! Since I have little kids please only reach out if your pets are friendly with children. I also do not do late night drop offs or pick ups. We look forward to meeting new neighbors and animals 😊 My number one priority for your pets stay is a happy and safe vacation for them and you! However; we live in an imperfect world and accidents can happen, I would like to work with clients who are willing to work TOGETHER to find solutions to things that may arise. I am pretty free and open! Will be flexible to work with your schedule. Available most days of the week mornings and into the evenings. For pets that come to our home it will be a free for all throughout the house. For cats that stay I do request you bring their litter box. I will not let cats out of my house even if they use to being outdoors. They will not be familiar with my neighborhood so they will be kept indoors.
About: I've constantly lived with animals my whole life, even now I live with both Cats and dogs. I also watch over my friends animals while there out of town! I am a great choice for watching your animals and making sure they get the excercise and nutriton needed! She is so incredibly sweet, attentive, sincere, knowledgeable, efficient, organized, professional and just an enjoyable person for myself and my furbaby! Our animals (1 dog 3 cats) took to her right away. Seeking her for attention, affection and responded to her immediately. I was relieved, pleasantly surprised and excited. She went over every detail about my furkid, Baby, who has a laundry list of VERY special needs from medical to behavior. Baby is a mostly deaf rescue with severe allergies, stage 5 heart murmor and an ongoing outer ear problem. Heather was able to get Baby to sit & come to her when called. She catered the walk according to Baby's needs, being mindful of her heart condition and her reaction to seeing other dogs. Heather then left me a haND written note summarizing their walk/visit and later posted pictures online for me to view and share! What an outstanding animal lover she is! After hesitating for so long to use Rover, I can't wait to use it again and again with Heather as my go-to for Baby's needs!”
