About: I've had dogs for over 20 years but began fostering dogs about 6 years ago. I have fostered with the NSPCA and other organizations both here in Las Vegas and in California. I love animals and always want to make sure that they are cared for. I have nursed dogs back to health from many different situations. I am kind and outgoing and have a passion for taking care of animals and making sure all their needs are met. I am used to giving medications to animals and have dealt with dogs that have seizures and dogs with severe allergies as well. I am a stay at home mom so my schedule is open to being available whenever needed and I'm more than happy to help at any time. I have a completely fenced in yard as well as a fenced in pool with lock so no dogs get in to that area. I have crates for dogs as well but I am home mostly always and I am always available to let them out and be with them while they are in my home.

Leaving your dog with someone else can be stressful, but she made the entire experience so easy and comfortable that I was actually able to relax and enjoy my trip without constantly worrying about Luca. She stayed at my house with him, and the level of care, attention, and love she gave him seriously went above and beyond anything I expected! From the moment we connected, I could tell she wasn’t just someone who “watches dogs.” She has this calm, knowledgeable, warm energy that animals instantly trust. Luca connected with her right away, which immediately made me feel better. Dogs are the best judges of character, and it was obvious he felt safe and comfortable with her. What really blew me away is how much effort she puts into making sure the dogs she cares for are actually happy and mentally stimulated. Even while staying at my house with Luca, she brought enrichment toys, puzzles, treats, and activities to keep him entertained and engaged. She wasn’t just supervising him — she was actively interacting with him, playing with him, and making sure he was having a good time while I was gone. Like my dog was basically on his own little vacation too. She was also super attentive to Luca specifically. she really took the time to understand his personality, his habits, his quirks, and what makes him comfortable. That kind of care means a lot because every dog is different, and she genuinely treats them like individuals instead of just “another dog to watch.” Another thing I appreciated so much was her communication. She kept me updated and sent little updates that made me smile and reassured me that Luca was doing great. Because of her, I was actually able to fully enjoy my vacation instead of having that constant little voice in the back of my head wondering if everything was okay at home. But honestly beyond all of that, she’s just a genuine, authentic, caring human being. You can feel how much she truly loves animals. It’s not just a job for her - it’s something that clearly comes from her heart. She has this soul connection with animals that is undeniable, and it shows in the way she interacts with them. The patience, kindness, knowledge, and love she gives them is really special. When I came home, Luca was happy, relaxed, and clearly very comfortable. That says everything. Knowing he was safe, loved, and well cared for in his own home made the entire experience so much easier for me. People like her are honestly rare to find. Your dog will be safe, loved, entertained, and treated like family. I would trust her again in a heartbeat and recommend her a thousand times over!!!!! Due to circumstances, my physical therapist gave me the green light to try normal activities. I need a dog sitter last minute. I contacted Erika and she agreed. She arrived early to meet Sierra. Sierra was happy to see another face other than mine. When I returned home, the house was neat, the food bowl was washed and Sierra was one sleepy dog. Yes. I will be contacting Erika again as my ortho and physical therapists allow me to begin doing more!
