“We hired Mackenzie to stay with our dog and our cat for 4 nights while we were out of town. Our dog- Collie can be somewhat anxious at times. She accommodated our request for a soft hand off and was so patient and good with both of them while we were gone. Collie warmed up to her immediately! We would recommend Mackenzie to anyone looking for over night stays or even drop ins. She was super communicative and sent so many pictures putting us at ease that our four legged babes were well taken care of while we were gone. 10/10 would definitely hire Mackenzie again.”

I’m a recent empty nester and available most of the time. For overnight stays at your home, I would like as much notice as possible, I can accommodate daily check-in’s with less notice. I’m also happy to grab your mail and water your plants! I’m not an early bird, I prefer appointments after 8:30 am if possible. I Can make special accommodations if needed! I will stay with your pet for as long as they want me, I will not be watching the clock to run right out at the 30 or 60 minute mark. I will treat your pets just as I treat my own, I will make sure that their water is always clean, litter boxes and yards are scooped multiple times a day, food bowls and dishes are cleaned in between feedings and that animals are played with and given attention throughout the day. I will shower your pet with love and attention and make sure all their needs are met. I would prefer to walk dogs that are already well behaved on leash.( please no big reactive dogs) I would be willing to work with some smaller reactive dogs but not larger. I’m fine with dogs that want to walk fast! I’m also happy to brush pets that enjoy being brushed. I'll clean eye boogers and ears too.

About: I treat all animals with compassion and patience. I love all kinds of animals. I’ve had animals in my house since I was a little kid and have always treated them like my kids. I know going out of town to be a stressful situation when you’re a pet owner and I just want to alleviate any of that anxiety(: What separates our family from other sitters is your fur babies will be hosted by a family vs an individual. We run our account as a family- kiddos, parents, and all the love❤️ NEW Weekly Pup-date: Starting in September, every Saturday night will be pup movie night for all boarded pups(: we will have pumpkin and rice treats on the menu (for those who can partake), lots of snuggles, and a group sleepover complete with a fort- curtesy of our kiddos! Don’t miss the puppy party and book asap (3 spaces available for each Saturday!) We have dogs as well so pet care and maintenance is a big part of our lives. Between dog walks, taking them out for potty breaks, feeding them, bathing them and making their own food- being a fur family takes up most of our day! Our dogs are crate trained, and stay upstairs in our home as they are seniors now. Any animals that we would be taking in would stay downstairs so they all have their own space. We try to avoid crating and would only crate them if we had to go out for short time periods or if they exhibit signs of needed to be crated (destructive behaviors or aggression). We have a fenced backyard where they can go outside to use the restroom and live in a nice community so we can go for walks or to the park across the street.

About: I’ve had one dog personally, multiple fish, and a hamster, but specialize in senior/disabled pet care. Within my family I often take care of a service animal black lab and a special needs lab. Outside experience includes house sitting for a large dog breed home for consecutive days, a home with three Guinea pigs, a multi-cat home, and a saltwater tank. I’d love to have more experience with all varieties of pets including all dog breeds, cats, reptiles, avians, and rodents. I’m currently a full-time online college student and can offer high flexibility to fit into any homes needs including nights or simple daily drop ins. Weekend stays or overnight needs are available as well. Learning my client’s routine, or training, and staying to it for the pet’s comfort will be a top priority. I am open to both drop ins and house sitting arrangements. If you are interested in me house sitting and keeping your pet company and giving them care at your home I will learn their routine from you that way they can have a slice of their own comfort they are used to while you are away.

About: i’ve been taking care of dogs growing up, all sizes, ages, personalities etc. i love love love dogs, all of them. - i also do nail trimming, bathing and deshedding for a low rate, if interested let me know prior to boarding or day before boarding ends. i’m currently working part time which does allow me to have some open availability and do what i love, it’s I and my boyfriend watching over and caring for your fur babies🥰 i live in an apartment with a dog park in the complex and dog essentials around! along with dog friendly trails near by! i am well with hyper, difficult, disabled dogs. i am more than trustworthy when it comes to keeping them hydrated, fed, safe and active :)
