About: I’ve taken care of animals of my own for the last 30 years including cats and dogs. I currently have an orange tabby and a corgi /blue heeler mix. I have cared for animals for friends and family in the past as well. I left my full time job in November 2025 and have been focused on smaller flexible jobs in order to have more time with my family. I am available throughout the day for drop in’s or walks, I am just not able to house sit or have animals at my home due to my dog not getting along with other animals. I will care for the pets in your home depending on the instructions that you provide to make sure their routine stays as close to the same as it can, and to keep them as safe as possible. I have a list of questions that we can go through before you leave in case there may be something you forgot to mention.

My mom works with a local organization back in Nebraska to help find lost animals and return them to their owners and my sister is a certified dog trainer in Colorado, so I’ve definitely learned a thing or two. I’ve watched after animals all of my life, including caring for my mom’s senior dogs and cats while she’s away on vacation numerous times and also popping by any of my friend’s or coworker’s houses to feed and care for their pets when needed. I also worked with a nonprofit organization when I was a teenager that helped care for and raise money for animals in need. I have two dogs of my own, Hopper and Hanky, who are both pretty particular little guys. Hank has epilepsy and severe separation anxiety and Hopper is reactive to strangers, so I’ve learned how to properly care for them to keep them comfortable and happy. Your animals would definitely be safe in my care and I’d love to meet them! 🫶🏻 I just moved here from Des Moines, Iowa so my schedule is completely open and available to care for your pets! Once I’m settled in, I do plan on only getting part time work, so my schedule will remain flexible. I am reliable and trustworthy and realize some people dont want to board their pets for hundred of bucks while they take a vacation. I will work with you on the price. Grace made this experience memorable with two drop in visits daily for a week. We have 3 dogs. Two young soft coated Wheaton terriers and 1 senior Boxer. Our biggest concern during this process was to make sure our Boxer was comfortable, and not taken out of his surroundings due to his age. In the pass we boarded our dogs. I asked my Vet for advice they recommended this site. Grace follow thru with everything we asked her to do. Our dogs were very happy and our house was in same condition as we left.
