“Maya is a respectful, communicative, and attentive rover who I would be happy to work with again in the future. She went above and beyond taking care of Bog; I can tell they bonded over the week I was away. The photos and written reports were hugely reassuring for me and my apartment was just as I left it upon my return!”

“Sarah was wonderful! One of the puppies got sick and she was so kind to clean up after her. We will definitely book Sarah again! I This was our first time using her but I felt like we’ve known her forever! So sweet to our pup too!”

“Best rover sitter we’ve had Alex was very caring attentive and left great notes. I really appreciated how many pics were taken and our cat seemed very happy to have her around!”

“Bree was able to accommodate our requests. We've never had anyone care for our doggies aside from my brother and sister so I was a bit afraid of using Rover. They are not friendly and would often bark and growl so we never really know how they would react to others. She made an effort to get close to them and that made us happy because it looks like they liked her! Aside from that, we're very appreciative of her services! She gave us a sense of relief while we were away. She messaged and updated us and sent pics of our doggies! I feel like I just made a friend without meeting her in person. We will definitely book with her in the future!”

“Absolutely awesome! Patricia took good care of my babies and on such a last minute booking I am so grateful she could fit in some visits. She was very caring, sent me progress reports and pictures every day. I would absolutely have her again to take care of my babies.”

“Rachel did an Awesome job she took care our our Babies just like we would have. She was always on time and she did a great job. She played with them and fed and held Salem, Nobody holds Mocha not even us LOL She is a very Timid Baby Girl. That was the first time we had ever left them alone. If we ever need Rachel again we Would Love to use her again. Thank you Rachel. for taking care of our Furbabies”

About: I've had a variety of pets since I was a kid. In the last 8 years, I decided to take my experience with dog walking to the next level. I have the most experience with leash training. It does take a bit of time for dogs, especially puppies, to get accustomed to walking with a leash. I feel the most satisfaction when I can teach an old (or young) dog new tricks. My mornings start with pet care — before work, I make sure any pets in my care are fed, checked on, gone for a walk and settled for the day. It’s a routine I already follow with my own cats, Francis and LJ, so caring for yours fits naturally into my day. For drop-in visits, I follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible — feeding on schedule, fresh water, and a walk or playtime depending on their needs. For cats, that includes litter box maintenance and making sure they feel comfortable rather than rushed. I always do a quick check for anything unusual — appetite, mood, or behavior — so you’re kept in the loop. My goal is for your pet to feel like their day went on as normal, even with you away.
About: I’ve taken care of animals of my own for the last 30 years including cats and dogs. I currently have an orange tabby and a corgi /blue heeler mix. I have cared for animals for friends and family in the past as well. I left my full time job in November 2025 and have been focused on smaller flexible jobs in order to have more time with my family. I am available throughout the day for drop in’s or walks, I am just not able to house sit or have animals at my home due to my dog not getting along with other animals. I will care for the pets in your home depending on the instructions that you provide to make sure their routine stays as close to the same as it can, and to keep them as safe as possible. I have a list of questions that we can go through before you leave in case there may be something you forgot to mention.
About: I’ve been dog sitting for friends for 5+ years since my business allows me to work from home. I love being outside so friends and owners appreciate knowing their pups will get some exercise and enjoy themselves! I’m an Online Fitness Coach for business professionals/entrepreneurs. I work remotely so I have open time to care for your dogs. I’m very into fitness and staying active so I’ll bring them on my outdoor adventures (walks, runs, hikes etc)! I live in an apartment with a balcony so your dogs will always be in view. My complex has a dog park with other normal parks walking distance. I can crate your dogs as long as it’s provided and they are trained. I stay local every day so always have time to check on dogs even if I step out. If I’m getting outside for exercise, they’re definitely coming with me!
“Heather and Mike are absolutely amazing! Great communication with photos and they have a huge backyard that my dog was able to enjoy. Cannot thank them enough and will definitely be rebooking!”

About: I’ve taken care of many animals. Barn, cat, dog, and ferrets i’ve seen them all! I’ve given medicine to animals! Good with pups and seniors! I work a part time job I am free Mondays and Thursdays! Friday and Saturday I work 1-6pm so I can check before and after work. I also work Tuesday, Wednesday, and Sunday I work 9:45am-1:45pm. I have 3 gates in my house that I can keep my animals separate! I also monitor toys they play with because I know animals are prone to swallow things they shouldn’t.
“Jackie did an excellent job checking on our kitties Walter and Wolfy while we were out of town. She was reliable, caring and kept us updated, which gave us complete peace of mind. We were very pleased with her service and will definitely book with her again.”

About: I have cared for small dogs in my home and special needs and senior cats. I am reliable, flexible, and can provide lots of love and fun for your special furry friend! I'm currently only doing food, grocery, and rideshare services so I have the flexibility to help you out throughout my days, evenings and weekends. Overnights are also not a problem! I am available for uncrated house-sitting and am also a trustworthy and respectful person to come into your home for drop in visits and overnight stays. I don't have a yard, but I have a large patio and there is a park directly across the street that we can play in.

“Asked that Brittney could look in on our pup as we would be away for several hours. All went well, she sent a nice photo, and of course she will be our go-to sitter as and when needed.”

“Sydney did great with Chatty and Pumpkin and they loved having her stop by throughout the day to play and check in on them! Sydney was always super responsive and sent lots of pictures and detailed updates! Will definitely use her again in the future!”

About: Hello! I’m Sara, I truly love all animals and believe they deserve the very best care. Whether it’s walking, playing, feeding, or simply giving extra snuggles, I treat every pet as if they were my own. I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry family members, and I take that responsibility to heart. With a caring and dependable personality, I make sure each pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I look forward to working with you. I’m a stay at home mom so my schedule is flexible to work with you! Just let me know in advance and we will find a time that works. Arthur is a super doggy sitter! He shows up before the time and spends quality time with my fur baby. Kairo is always excited to see Arthur because he gets a little play time in before bed. If you are looking for a great animal's best friend to take care of your pet, Arthur is the man!
Grace made this experience memorable with two drop in visits daily for a week. We have 3 dogs. Two young soft coated Wheaton terriers and 1 senior Boxer. Our biggest concern during this process was to make sure our Boxer was comfortable, and not taken out of his surroundings due to his age. In the pass we boarded our dogs. I asked my Vet for advice they recommended this site. Grace follow thru with everything we asked her to do. Our dogs were very happy and our house was in same condition as we left.

Mya was wonderful! She was very punctual, attentive, and took great care of my pittie, Pebbles. I also really appreciated how respectful she was of my home. It gave me peace of mind knowing Pebbles was in such caring and reliable hands. I’d definitely recommend Mya and would happily book with her again!

Olivia was so great to our Charlie while we were out of town. She played with him and made sure he got pets and love. She even went out of her way to put two unexpected packages in the house. Thanks again Olivia, for being a sweetheart to our four legged baby. Highly recommend Olivia for your pet care needs!! Will be booking her more often!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
