“Amazing experience with Lori, she was very communicative on every visit and sent picture updates of the set up. I felt like I could fully disconnect and trust her to take care of my babies. It felt like having a trusted friend checking on my pets. She even grabbed my mail for me when she noticed the mailbox was full. She also went above and beyond by cleaning the litter box area. Will absolutely book Lori again!”

“My kitty who is afraid of most people and will hide when people come over absolutely loves Erin. I have no worries about my cats being well cared for when I’m gone for a week when she is going to stop and take care of them. My pup loves her too!”

“Jill was so great to work with, our sweet girl liked her from the start. You can tell how much Jill loves animals and they love her. Thanks Jill for the peice of mind knowing Bella was in good hands.”

“Mackenzie was awesome! It’s such a load off our shoulders when we know there’s someone to help take care of our animals while we’re away. Mackenzie was very reliable and we can tell she genuinely enjoys taking care of pets! We will be using her again the next time we leave town.”

“Josh is very attentive to Charlie and they hit it off immediately. Josh was so flexible to out last minute request to drop by and check on our boy and did a phenomenal job making him feel loved. Thanks again Josh. Look forward to having you drop in on Charlie’s more often as we travel. Highly recommend Josh for pet child care!”

“We have used Ruth several times now for Drop-In Visits for Ziggy, and Ziggy and Cashew previously. Ruth is consistent in how she cares for Ziggy, following care instructions, and in her communication. I highly recommend Ruth for any form of pet care. She is truly skilled and committed to taking care of our furr babies. Ruth, we appreciate you. Thank you. Ziggy, Lori, and Rick”

“This was my first time using Rover, which was nerve wracking for me. Anna was very reassuring that she would take care of my animals. She was diligent in making sure my cats would not sneak out the door and was great with my dog! I’d recommend her to friends and family!”

“Patty worked well with my parents in the home and they were able to accommodate each other. Which is very appreciated, since I am nervous about my elderly parents going down the stair with no one home. Will definitely use her again if she is available. We have trips planned for the future and having Patty checking in on my kitties will be a blessing. My fur babies loved her. She gave my one kitty her pills without issue and sent pictures of both.”
“Elisa is very professional and reliable. She has maintained excellent communication with me while I was out of the country and is perfect with animals. I hope when I need services again, she will be still available. I would highly recommend her!”

“Heather and Mike are absolutely amazing! Great communication with photos and they have a huge backyard that my dog was able to enjoy. Cannot thank them enough and will definitely be rebooking!”

“Fiona was great as a drop-in sitter while I was away on vacation. Very communicative and detailed in the notes for each visit. She sent lots of pictures each time and I was content knowing my cats were being well cared for so I could focus on enjoying my travels.”

“Mya was absolutely amazing! From the moment she arrived, it was clear she genuinely loves and understands dogs. She treated my home with respect and took the time to give Pebbles plenty of attention, care, and quality interaction rather than just completing the visit. Her experience really showed in the way she connected with Pebbles and made her feel comfortable and cared for. I had complete peace of mind knowing Pebbles was in such capable hands. I highly recommend Mya to anyone looking for a reliable, knowledgeable, and compassionate pet sitter. We will definitely be booking with her again!”

About: I’ve taken care of animals of my own for the last 30 years including cats and dogs. I currently have an orange tabby and a corgi /blue heeler mix. I have cared for animals for friends and family in the past as well. I left my full time job in November 2025 and have been focused on smaller flexible jobs in order to have more time with my family. I am available throughout the day for drop in’s or walks, I am just not able to house sit or have animals at my home due to my dog not getting along with other animals. I will care for the pets in your home depending on the instructions that you provide to make sure their routine stays as close to the same as it can, and to keep them as safe as possible. I have a list of questions that we can go through before you leave in case there may be something you forgot to mention.
About: I've had a variety of pets since I was a kid. In the last 8 years, I decided to take my experience with dog walking to the next level. I have the most experience with leash training. It does take a bit of time for dogs, especially puppies, to get accustomed to walking with a leash. I feel the most satisfaction when I can teach an old (or young) dog new tricks. My mornings start with pet care — before work, I make sure any pets in my care are fed, checked on, gone for a walk and settled for the day. It’s a routine I already follow with my own cats, Francis and LJ, so caring for yours fits naturally into my day. For drop-in visits, I follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible — feeding on schedule, fresh water, and a walk or playtime depending on their needs. For cats, that includes litter box maintenance and making sure they feel comfortable rather than rushed. I always do a quick check for anything unusual — appetite, mood, or behavior — so you’re kept in the loop. My goal is for your pet to feel like their day went on as normal, even with you away.

I have experience in everything I offer, I’ve pet sat for dogs, cats, fish, a tortoise and even a parrot, I love all animals! I’m available for all the services listed above Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at whatever time needed on those days! I have open availability and accept same day bookings as of now :) I will update you guys immediately if anything changes. I’m located in castle rock ! I have a couple pets of my own and I really enjoy caring for them but teaching them tricks for treats and taking them on walks.
“Michelle took great care of our senior dog! Took her on several walks, even in the rain and spoiled her like family. We truly appreciate her and will certainly use her again!”

About: I have cared for small dogs in my home and special needs and senior cats. I am reliable, flexible, and can provide lots of love and fun for your special furry friend! I'm currently only doing food, grocery, and rideshare services so I have the flexibility to help you out throughout my days, evenings and weekends. Overnights are also not a problem! I am available for uncrated house-sitting and am also a trustworthy and respectful person to come into your home for drop in visits and overnight stays. I don't have a yard, but I have a large patio and there is a park directly across the street that we can play in.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Henderson
Our cat got sick shortly before a week long trip and I was so glad that we had Alex booked. Alex adjusted our schedule to add visits to help with our cats medication and went above and beyond to help her while we were gone. It was such piece of mind having Alex take care of our sick cat!

Grace is a true cat whisperer! We were very concerned about the emotional state of our 2 y/o ragdoll who we have never left before. Grace befriended him from the start and he came through our week absence without any emotional scars. We're sure that Mister and Thai can't wait for our next trip so that Grace visits them again.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 – Amazing Cat Sitter! Priscila was absolutely wonderful with my cat! She was reliable, attentive, and genuinely caring the entire time. We loved getting updates, photos, and little notes about how our baby boy was doing each day—it gave me so much peace of mind. My cat can be a little shy with new people, but he warmed up to Priscila right away, which says a lot. I came home to a happy, well-cared-for kitty and a clean space. I highly recommend Priscila to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving cat sitter. I’ll definitely be booking her again!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Henderson. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
