About: I started fostering dogs and cats in 2020. I’ve cared for 18 dogs and 4 cats of all different ages and sizes. I have 2 small dogs and 1 cat myself. Some of the animals I’ve cared for have had health problems such as blindness, toothlessness and arthritis. I am always gentle and patient with animals. I am an animal advocate and will stop to help a wondering dog and provide food and water to the cats in my neighborhood. My day job allows me to have flexibility to come and go and care for your animals as needed. I am currently working from home and I have flexibility to give your pet my full attention while caring for them. I prioritize giving my dogs daily exercise which often includes waking up before the sun to beat the heat and ensure their safety. Your pets health, comfort and safety is my top priority. My home yard is fenced. I understand schedules are important and will do everything in my power to follow yours. I am a big yapper, expect a detailed note about my visit along with quite a few pictures!
“Nina was so accommodating at last minute (make sure to be polite and tip the max allowed if you’re going to do a last minute booking) ❤️ She’s so nice and takes really good care of our babies. Thank you so much Nina!”

“Larry & Cheri are just amazing. We had them drop by our house a few times a day to check in on/feed our pups while my husband and I were gone on business trips. They did such a great job at communicating, being timely, and caring for our house and pups. They are genuinely nice people and made us feel safe leaving our house and puppies in their hands. When we got back home, the house was just as we left it, probably even cleaner! We will definitely be working again with Larry & Cheri :).”

“There truly aren’t enough words to describe how incredible Joley was. We are beyond grateful for the love, care, and attention she gave Honey, Lacy, and Kiki. From the moment she started, it was clear this wasn’t just a job to her. She genuinely cared about them as if they were her own. Every single day, she sent us thoughtful, detailed updates along with so many photos and videos of Honey, Lacy, and Kiki. Those daily updates meant the world to us and gave us complete peace of mind. She didn’t just say they were doing well, she took the time to tell us about each dog’s day, their personalities, what they had been doing, and all the little moments that made us feel like we never missed a thing. What truly sets Joley apart is how much she goes above and beyond. She did so many thoughtful things that we never even asked her to do, simply because she genuinely cares. It’s incredibly rare to find someone who puts that much love, effort, and pride into caring for someone else’s pets. When we came home, it was obvious our dogs had been loved, happy, and exceptionally well cared for. Honey, Lacy, and Kiki absolutely adored her, and it gave us so much comfort knowing they were treated like family while we were away. Finding someone you trust with your pets is one of the hardest things, and Joley exceeded every expectation we had. We can honestly say we will never have anyone else watch our dogs again. She has earned our complete trust, and we cannot recommend her enough. If you’re looking for someone who will love your pets as much as you do, communicate every day with detailed updates, photos, and videos, and go above and beyond in every possible way, Joley is the absolute best. We are so thankful we found her, and our pups can’t wait to see her again!!!”

“Catherine was a phenomenal caretaker for my two cats while we had to leave town for an emergency. She sent numerous pictures and assured me to the cats well-being and safety. My schedule was not set in stone, and Catherine was so helpful and willing to accommodate me. I would recommend anyone needing pet care to keep her in mind.”

“We had a great experience with her! She responded quickly, was reliable, and took excellent care of our cats while we were away. Our pets clearly felt comfortable with her and seemed very happy. Everything went smoothly, and we felt at ease knowing they were in good hands. We would definitely recommend her and would be happy to book with her again.”

About: Hello! I’m Anna! I grew up with dogs my whole life, from mastiffs to shitzus. This year I said goodbye to my blue heeler who I had for 11 years. He was the best and I miss him everyday. I would love to care for your pet and would care for them as if they were mine. The first time I booked on Rover for my dog I was so nervous, so I understand what you are going through! Trust that your loved one is in the best care! I am able to do drop ins, walks, as well as dog sitting in your house or mine. I have experience with senior dogs, medication, and disabilities. Cant wait to meet you and your pup! I work full time as a social media manager but my work day is flexible and pretty routine. I am able to come check on your pets during my lunch break, to make sure they are taken care of. I loved my dog more than anything and will treat yours the same! Either in my home, or yours, or on a walks. If in my home I will make your dog is comfortable and taken care of.
“Mary went above & beyond to come take care of Ivy last minute when our flight back home was canceled ! She definitely helped relieve the stress of not getting home to Ivy when we supposed to return. Received lots of pics and kept us updated;)”

“Another amazing service provided by Kim! We’re so thankful that she takes great care of our pups every time. Made relaxation on our family vacation that much easier. Thank you Kim!! 🐾”

“This is Keila second time keeping Marley and she did an amazing job. I got daily pictures and updates on my grandson. He absolutely adores her. Highly recommend her services. ***** 5 stars”

“Mackenzie was awesome! It’s such a load off our shoulders when we know there’s someone to help take care of our animals while we’re away. Mackenzie was very reliable and we can tell she genuinely enjoys taking care of pets! We will be using her again the next time we leave town.”

About: I got my first dog when I was 6 and confidently started taking care of him when I was 12. Ever since, I have had a great passion for animals of all kind! I currently have a 2 year old Italian greyhound and a 4 month old silken windhound! I’ve got experience with all kinds of animals and have worked in a large array of animals settings including: a animal hospital as a tech, at a boarding and daycare facility, as a private pet sitter and dog walker, and also in an exotic pet store! I have learned to read body language and I also have a deep understanding that animals have boundaries just like people do. I love to work with clients to learn what’s best for them and their pup and will always respect what they need to be comfortable. I can work with reactive animals and also with animals who need their medication administered. I can’t wait to work with you and your furry family 😁 I am currently working in endangered animal conservation so my schedule has me up and early! I am home by 2pm and home for the rest of the day. I am home all day on weekends and believe in getting my dog out for fun activities when the weather allows. I’ve house-sat on multiple occasions and always follow owner instructions. Communication is key so any uncertainties, and I’ll check in! I can do daily updates and send pictures as often as desired. I also can tend to house plants, take out the trash on scheduled trash days, and set security systems.
“No complaints he sent pics of my fur buddies, he even put our FedEx packages in the house, very courteous. Definitely would recommend Redmond to anyone that needs a pet sitter and I will request Redmond again.”

“First meeting - Brittany was awesome. She was so accommodating and is great at communicating! She was incredibly kind and understanding and we will definitely be booking with her again.”

“Angela did a wonderful job taking care of our fur babies while we were out of town! She was always on time, did exactly what we asked and even sent daily pics of her visits. We had peace of mind knowing our babies were in good hands while we were away. We would highly recommend Angela!”

What can I say about this lovely couple! I instantly felt at ease when meeting and messaging with Larry and Cheri! They took excellent care of our 3 cats and kept us updated with daily photos and notes. We had to change our reservation time frame, extending it several times and they accommodated us at every turn! We had something very trying and uncertain to deal with away from home and the fact that I had no worries about my babies being taken care of the whole time was essential to my sanity!!! They made it all possible and allayed my worries with outstanding care!

Arianna showed herself to be a reliable pet sitter. She was on top of communication from the moment I showed interest in her service, and ensured I knew that every request for my furbaby was handled with care. If you love your pet, give yourself the peace of mind by booking a sitter that takes their job seriously! She earned the aunty badge, will be calling her back in the future!

Olivia was fantastic! She left detailed notes for each drop-in, as well as plenty of photos. When there was anything that needed clarification she make sure to ask me. As well, when my cat got sick (which was already prone to happen) she made sure to clean up the mess and notify me. I'd highly recommend her to anyone in the future.

Samantha took the best care of my dog and my 2 cats! She was so attentive to their needs it really helped me not be so anxious being away from my babies and I think it helped them not be so stressed being away from me! We will definitely rebook with her in the future

Hannah was an absolute dream pet sitter!! My two senior cats are very skittish around everybody who enters our home. I told Hannah she may mot even see my two boys when she came over to take care of them. Not only did she see them, she also interacted with them giving them pets (which they allowed)! Hannah provided us with fabulous service and peace of mind which is priceless when you are entrusting your babies to someone else’s care. Thank you Hannah!!!!!!

We love Alexandra!! She cat sits for us and our cats love her (they usually take a while to warm up to people, but they’re really good with her.) She is so attentive and great with following any instructions, and we love her notes and pictures from her check-ins. Also she has actual vet experience so when one of our cats got FIP she was able to give him his injections (which was not easy, cause he was not always well-behaved for his meds!) We are so happy to have her take care of our kitties when we can’t ❤️😊

Keila responded to our service request quickly and accepted the job with short notice. She came on time and followed the schedule for our two kitties thoroughly. I highly recommend her services and hope to be lucky enough to book her again when needed in the future!

Roman is the answer to a cat owners anxiety. My two adore this guy and when I get home they are disappointed it’s only me…wait for him by the door at 6 am and 6 pm. I’m putting out food for them to eat and they wait by the door! What am I doing different than Rome? lol Great sitter and always goes that extra unspoken mile.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
