Trust that your loved one is in the best care! I am able to do drop ins, walks, as well as dog sitting in your house or mine. I have experience with senior dogs, medication, and disabilities. Cant wait to meet you and your pup! I work full time as a social media manager but my work day is flexible and pretty routine. I am able to come check on your pets during my lunch break, to make sure they are taken care of. I loved my dog more than anything and will treat yours the same! About: My parents have always had a pet. I have been around my pets or friends' pets my entire life. Since 2013, I have had the privilege of being a private dog-sitter in the Ann Arbor, MI area. When you are away for whatever reason, you can trust that your pet is being taken care of in a loving, responsible manner. I work as an online tutor, so I can be at your home morning, afternoon, and evening. I can also set my schedule to allow for walks or breaks your dog needs and give them the attention they need throughout the day. Your dog's safety and your home's security are my top priorities. I will keep a watchful eye on your dog and follow any instructions you provide. I enjoy providing you regular updates on your dog. I can also only contact you in case of emergency and everything in between. I will clean up after myself and your dog and will do laundry if needed. I am a guest in your home, and I will treat it with respect and leave it as I found it.
About: I’ve had pets since I was around 5 years old - dogs, cats, hamsters, a rabbit - so caring for them is second nature to me. I’ve looked after friends’ and family members’ pet dogs a few years back and am a cat mom of two currently. I have been known by my colleagues to be a dog and cat fancier who can name dog and cat breeds on the spot. Dogs and cats also seem to take a liking to me almost every time, so it’s easy for me to get along with them. I am currently working evenings at a casino job, but will be available two weekdays and while I am on temporary layoff scheduled every 4 months every year - usually a week and a half each time. I make sure to feed my pets as soon as I wake up each day, and make sure they are set up with food and water before I leave for work. I make sure to get instructions from pet parents and communicate with them prior to each visit. As soon as I come into their home, I make sure to give the pet my warmest greeting with pets and cuddles whenever possible before checking on their food and water. I also try to engage them in a little playtime and make sure to walk them, let them go potty, or check on their litter boxes.

Caroline was fantastic with our fur babies. My crew includes a rescue that does nothing but bark at "strangers," an emotional hot mess, and a boy lab who doesn't realize he is as big as he is. They were all taken care of and loved the photos. My dogs also pee out of spite when left, and she even went out of her way to mop so we did not walk into a mess.

My cheddar is a very territorial baby. However, he has warmed up to Valeria rather quickly. She is making sure that he is comfortable and gets all his zoomies out, while I am at work. I am so grateful with her being so attentive and extremely happy that she is taking the time to get to know cheddar, so that she can give him what he needs whether it’s belly rubs or a chase around the yard!

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
