Luke is hands-down the most caring, compassionate, and trustworthy person you could ever ask to watch your fur family. He has been our go-to sitter for so many different situations, and he truly treats our dog Sabine like his own, giving her all the love we could ever want. Whether he’s coming over in the middle of our incredibly busy workdays just to spend time with our anxious girl, or house-sitting while we are away on vacation, Luke always goes above and beyond. Sabine had a bout of pancreatitis last year and is now on a super strict diet. Leaving her can be stressful, but Luke followed our strict feeding directions down to the very last detail. He provided thorough and frequent updates that completely put our minds at ease, allowing us to actually enjoy our vacation knowing she was in the best possible hands. He also handles unexpected situations flawlessly. While out on our last vacation, we had back-to-back thunderstorms three nights in a row. Storms absolutely terrify Sabine, but Luke didn't hesitate to take her down to the basement (her safe, quiet spot), where he stayed with her throughout the entire storm to keep her calm and comforted. Luke has been pet sitting for our family for 14 years. He is amazing! He stayed in our home for long lengths of time and he is completely trustworthy. He is very attentive to our pets . He was able to help when medicines are needed . We have had an elderly cat and a couple of elderly dogs throughout our time together, he was very sensitive to these pets. We have had puppies and he helped train our current dogs , he can handle it all. We were able to travel abroad and not worry because he was very competent. I would not hesitate to have Luke watch anyone’s pets. I would hire him with no reservations.
