“Shawn was a good sitter for me and my kitten. I appreciate his flexible and his care to my kitten. I was worried due to past sitters and im glad that Shawn took good care of my baby. He was communicative with me, always keeping me informed and I could easily reach him, as needed. He was descriptive in his rover cards and that helped ease my mind on how the visit with my kitten went. I asked for him to check on my kitten’s automatic food dispenser and water fountain, along with cleaning out her litter daily.”

“I have been so grateful to have found Anna. She really took care of my fur babies and kept in touch every single time she came to visit. I loved that she was so gentle and caring and she kept in contact with me every single time.”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I am beyond grateful for the care Ashley provided for my elderly dog while I was away. I was in a bind last minute, and she was available on such short notice, which immediately put me at ease. She was incredibly responsive, provided consistent updates, and treated my dog with so much patience and care. Knowing my senior pup was in trustworthy and reliable hands made my vacation completely stress-free. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable and compassionate pet sitter, especially for older dogs.”

About: Family pets were obviously my first foray into pet care. Amongst my brothers I was the first choice to watch our youngest four legged family member. This was noticed by neighbors. While young me was a little shy to ask, other pet owners on the block would grab me for the one off walk or dog sitting session. Care continued to my own pets, and here we are. I'm a professional MMA fighter. While I'm not training I get a lot of personal time with my own little fur balls. Walks, play, even just refinding our centers, I think that being close with animals is a true cheat code to personal health. We live in a quiet neighborhood. The area has plenty of walking trails and even some open spaces to really get those four legs moving. Or we could just chill in the sun in the fenced in back yard. At your place I'm able to hang, go on walks (or run), etc. whatever your pet needs!
About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, from Golden Retrievers, to Lhasa Apsos, to rescue mixes, so I’m comfortable with a wide range of personalities and needs. I’ve helped train two dogs and enjoy reinforcing good habits, whether that’s basic commands, leash manners, or just keeping consistency with what you’re already working on. I’m happy to incorporate light training into walks or visits if that’s something you’d like. I’m also comfortable administering medications and paying close attention to any specific care instructions. I recently moved to the area and can’t have pets in my current apartment, so I truly love getting my dog time in by caring for others’ pets. I treat them like they’re my own! I’m a part-time student, so I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability throughout the day. I enjoy getting outside for walks and breaks, and I love incorporating that time with caring for dogs. I’m available for daytime walks and drop-ins, and I can usually adjust my schedule to fit your pet’s needs! I prioritize making your pet feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I’m happy to follow your routine exactly, whether that’s feeding schedules, walk preferences, or any specific instructions you have. In your home, I’m respectful of your space and aim to keep things calm and consistent for your pet. I’m attentive to behavior, energy levels, and any signs of stress, and I’ll always keep you updated with messages and photos so you can feel at ease!
“Hannah does such a great job with both our cats! She’s been great about giving meds to our older guy and playing/giving attention to kitten! She gives us peace of mind with thorough reports while traveling and our busy schedules!”

“We were gone for about 8 days and are so glad Nakiah was able to check in on our cats twice a day. They warmed up quickly to her and we can tell by the photos she sent that they felt very comfortable with her. She was always easy to contact and immediately reached out when an issue with the house arose. Thank you again Nakiah!”

“Debbie was a wonderful pet sitter whom we will happily use again. She was quick to respond and flexible. One of our kitties was a little unwell, requiring daily medication, which Debbie administered without issue. We highly recommend her.”

“Elena is a lifesaver. I needed a drop in visit for my two dogs and she was available to do it that day. The professional dog care she rendered to my two corgis is the best based on how happy my dogs are when they’re walking and playing. Her service is excellent.”

“Adam was absolutely amazing! He came round to meet our three senior cats and they are usually very afraid of strangers but they took to him straight away and even while we were away they came out to greet him which is a miracle! He took amazing care of our babies over the last 7 days, sending daily updates and photos of them so we could relax and not worry about them at all. We will definitely be booking Adam again for our next trip. Thank you!”

“Rachel was amazing. Her check ins with the notes and photos let me know everything that was going on and I fell she went above and beyond with her care for my pup. Will definitely continue to work with her going forward”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Las Vegas
Debbie took care of my 2 pets, did drop in visits for 2 weeks. She is an excellent pet sitter. Debbie is very caring, always punctual, and consistently provided detailed information and photos of my pets. One of my pets slightly sprained his leg while playing and Debbie immediately notified me. She stayed longer to care for my pet and checked on him again the same day. Debbie followed instructions very well and she even cleaned my food containers. My pets enjoyed being cared for by Debbie. She went above and beyond, and provided excellent service. I definitely will contact Debbie in the future for pet sitting. Thank you much Debbie!
Cannot recommend Adam enough. Friendly, professional, and a clear animal lover. We have two cats who aren’t usually friendly to new people, and I work from home so they’re not used to being in an empty house. We were surprised how quickly they warmed up to Adam during his visits, and honestly they seemed disappointed when we came back!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
