âWeâre still in love with Shawn!! Last weekend he did a four night/five day overnight stay visit with both the Bandy pup and Diva Dog Tippy. Got great daily communication and pix, and not once did I worry about them. In fact I suspect they didnât really pay me mych thought as their loyalty, particularly Bandyâs(!) switches over pretty quick when their second fave human is around! Very respectful of the house as always! Only one complaint (tongue in cheek) I very specifically told Shawn he was NOT to let Bandy grow any bigger in my absence and he COMPLETELY DISREGARDED MY INSTRUCTION!!! I came home to a pup double in size!! đ¤ŁđŁđđ¤Żđ I hate how fast puppies grow but am so glad Shawnâs been with us on this adventure!!â

âI have been so grateful to have found Anna. She really took care of my fur babies and kept in touch every single time she came to visit. I loved that she was so gentle and caring and she kept in contact with me every single time.â

ââââââ I am beyond grateful for the care Ashley provided for my elderly dog while I was away. I was in a bind last minute, and she was available on such short notice, which immediately put me at ease. She was incredibly responsive, provided consistent updates, and treated my dog with so much patience and care. Knowing my senior pup was in trustworthy and reliable hands made my vacation completely stress-free. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable and compassionate pet sitter, especially for older dogs.â

About: Family pets were obviously my first foray into pet care. Amongst my brothers I was the first choice to watch our youngest four legged family member. This was noticed by neighbors. While young me was a little shy to ask, other pet owners on the block would grab me for the one off walk or dog sitting session. Care continued to my own pets, and here we are. I'm a professional MMA fighter. While I'm not training I get a lot of personal time with my own little fur balls. Walks, play, even just refinding our centers, I think that being close with animals is a true cheat code to personal health. We live in a quiet neighborhood. The area has plenty of walking trails and even some open spaces to really get those four legs moving. Or we could just chill in the sun in the fenced in back yard. At your place I'm able to hang, go on walks (or run), etc. whatever your pet needs!
About: Iâve grown up with dogs my whole life, from Golden Retrievers, to Lhasa Apsos, to rescue mixes, so Iâm comfortable with a wide range of personalities and needs. Iâve helped train two dogs and enjoy reinforcing good habits, whether thatâs basic commands, leash manners, or just keeping consistency with what youâre already working on. Iâm happy to incorporate light training into walks or visits if thatâs something youâd like. Iâm also comfortable administering medications and paying close attention to any specific care instructions. I recently moved to the area and canât have pets in my current apartment, so I truly love getting my dog time in by caring for othersâ pets. I treat them like theyâre my own! Iâm a part-time student, so I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability throughout the day. I enjoy getting outside for walks and breaks, and I love incorporating that time with caring for dogs. Iâm available for daytime walks and drop-ins, and I can usually adjust my schedule to fit your petâs needs! I prioritize making your pet feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while youâre away. Iâm happy to follow your routine exactly, whether thatâs feeding schedules, walk preferences, or any specific instructions you have. In your home, Iâm respectful of your space and aim to keep things calm and consistent for your pet. Iâm attentive to behavior, energy levels, and any signs of stress, and Iâll always keep you updated with messages and photos so you can feel at ease!

âPeaches and I absolutely love Hannah! She took wonderful care of Peaches, who is 10 & needs meds, while I was attending to a family emergency out of town. She played with her, walked her and took great care of my dear dog. I received photos from each visit and Hannah made sure to communicate with me when there was a minor issue. I will request Hannah again when I travel. I know my pet is in excellent hands while Iâm away!â

âMindy was so awesome! Great communication, very easy and accommodating to sync up with and took wonderful care of our 14 year old cat, Teacup. She took amazing photos and left really thoughtful notes that really put my mind at ease, since this was our first trip away from Teacup in over two years. Overall A+++â

âElena did drop-in visits with my puppy, Rosie, and was wonderful. She was very thorough with making sure she was taking care of her the way I would. It is clear that she loves dogs, and I think Rosie loved her too! She was communicative on all of her visits and I loved the pictures that she sent me. I would work with Elena again and recommend her to anyone!â

âAdam is a godsend! Our cat is quite nervous, and has medical needs that can be too much for many people. Adam treats her with great care and patience, and has no problem administering her medicine. Truly a lifesaver for our little family!â

âWe couldnât have asked for a better sitter! Brandon took amazing care of our dogs. He followed all our instructions perfectly and even accommodated our last-minute schedule change without any trouble. Super responsive, kind, and reliable. We came home to happy and well-cared-for fur babies. Highly recommend!â

âHilda was great! She did a meet and greet with us to make sure she was compatible with our pups. They warmed up to her quickly. Would book her again for drop in visitsâ

âI couldnât be happier đ we donât use a sitter often and she was so helpful through the process and my favorite part were the pictures she sent to update us! Oreo is barely a year old and didnât do well with boarding at a facility so this was a breath of fresh air to know she was in good hands. Will definitely book again!â

âItâs always such a relief knowing someone is there to look after my little buddy â even if he hides under the bed the whole time! Thank you for being there for him to make sure he had everything he needed.â

About: I grew up with animals from dogs to guinea pigs. I have experience with owning and caring for a pet. I have the space and recourses to board or pet sit. I would love to care for your fur baby. I am free during day all week. I have an open schedule Saturday, Sunday and Monday. I have time to care for pets whether it is giving scheduled medications or just to be walked and played with. My backyard is completely closed with concrete wall. I do allow pets in my house. The pet will have easy access in and out of the house.
âOlivia was the best pet sitter for our two cats- one is super affectionate and friendly and she spent extra time loving on her. My other cat hides the whole time, but she went to his hiding spot to make sure he was okay every time. I Really recommend her, it is obvious how much she loves pets and cares so much it makes you feel less nervous about leaving your fur babies.â

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Las Vegas
Debbie took care of my 2 pets, did drop in visits for 2 weeks. She is an excellent pet sitter. Debbie is very caring, always punctual, and consistently provided detailed information and photos of my pets. One of my pets slightly sprained his leg while playing and Debbie immediately notified me. She stayed longer to care for my pet and checked on him again the same day. Debbie followed instructions very well and she even cleaned my food containers. My pets enjoyed being cared for by Debbie. She went above and beyond, and provided excellent service. I definitely will contact Debbie in the future for pet sitting. Thank you much Debbie!
Cannot recommend Adam enough. Friendly, professional, and a clear animal lover. We have two cats who arenât usually friendly to new people, and I work from home so theyâre not used to being in an empty house. We were surprised how quickly they warmed up to Adam during his visits, and honestly they seemed disappointed when we came back!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
