“Thanks for taking great care of them! Great communication. Was really happy to see Han Solo coming out to see you. Really appreciate how well you took care of everything.”

“Such a great communicator. I know my dog was in excellent hands. It was so nice that she continued to send pictures. My dog suffers from separation anxiety so having her stop in while I was out for the night is priceless. I can't wait to use her again.”

About: I've had pets since I was young. Cat and dogs! I've also helped take care of friends and family pets! Whether it was to feed them, bathe them, or walk them, I did it! I have a very open schedule besides schooling! Weekends I am almost fully available, besides little things here and there. Mornings could be a little rough, but not impossible! Whatever your pet needs, I will accommodate! I am willing to make sure your pet feels safe and comfortable, if the environment isn't up to expectation, I'll try my best to make it better!
“Mya was great! She dropped in 3 separate times to check on our cat when we were out of town. No issues at all! She provided pictures, pet and gave company to out cat, fed and watered, and cleaned litter box. Communication was always very quick. Would hire again.”

“Michael and Heather were absolutely amazing dog sitters! From the moment we connected, they were friendly, reliable, and clearly love what they do. They took such great care of our dogs and made us feel completely at ease while we were away. We got regular updates and photos, which meant so much and really showed how happy and comfortable our pups were. It’s not easy to trust someone with your pets, but they went above and beyond in every way. Highly recommend Michael and Heather to anyone looking for trustworthy, caring, and attentive dog sitters. We will definitely be using them again!”
About: For me, I have always been a dog lover of my own. When I lived in Florida I would dog watch 3 dogs that were my neighbors. Then I had decided to make it apart of my career. So I did local dog walking, dog sitting, dog play dates for people at the hospital that owned dogs and were busy working during the day. Then when I moved to Las Vegas, I started school back up and I had to find another career because it was hard to do both. Now I want it to be apart of my day to day life. I always make sure that any dog I see, I say hi and give them affection to any size, any breed, and gender! I am also in the process of learning the ways of how to train puppies more so as well. I’m always available at any time in the day. My schedule is pretty open. As long as I have a 2 hour minimum, we will be good! I always update my calendar so any days I am booked, I will mark it in the calendar. I currently stay in a home with my two dogs and My 1 year old baby girl. The house has 3, it is a 1 story home, in a quiet community, in which I have neighbors who are all great people. I have a small dog of my own, her name is Bella. She is a cock-a-tzu (which is a mix of a cocker spaniel and a shih) she is a friendly dog, is up to date on all shots and is clean and free from any and everything. I do have my bigger dog, Ky who is a Husky mix. He is full of energy and loves to be around other dogs. If needed, I can seperate them from your dog if needed. My fiance is also an animal lover and is a genuine person to be around. I have a backyard that has brick walls surrounding so there’s safety and assurance. There is grass, Rocks, pants, and a patio with shade and furniture. I do provide treats, drinking bowls, and food if needed (if they require special food, we can arrange such) the home is spacious, the are allowed on furniture and I do own a play pin for dogs and toys. Along with a cage if needed, if you have a cage (if they are kennel trained) you may bring it along as well.
“"Ana was wonderful! She looked after my elderly cocker spaniel and my blind standard poodle for the last two days. She was punctual, provided great updates, and made sure all medications were administered correctly. Both dogs seemed so much happier when I got home. Highly recommend her services!"”

About: What sets me apart is my lifelong experience with animals of all sizes and personalities, along with my ability to confidently care for multiple pets at once. I’m comfortable with everything from energetic puppies who need structure and consistency to senior pets who require a slower pace, patience, and extra attention. I focus on making pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while keeping their routines as consistent as possible. I’m also very attentive to behavior, so I can pick up on signs of stress, discomfort, or changes in mood early. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, and I make it a priority in my schedule. I have the flexibility to plan my day around feedings, walks, playtime, and check-ins, so pets get consistent care and attention. Whether it’s early mornings, midday visits, or evenings, I’m able to stick to your pet’s normal routine to keep them comfortable and stress-free. When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent as possible. I follow feeding schedules, provide fresh water, regular potty breaks, and plenty of exercise or playtime based on their energy level. I make sure pets feel safe and comfortable by giving them attention, affection, and a calm environment. I also keep a close eye on behavior and health, and I always respect the client’s home by keeping things clean and organized.
“Olivia takes great care of our Koda boy! He always a gets some loves, a good walk and some play time before getting his meal. Olivia continues to be flexible even when we are in a crunch and our needs are same day. Life saver!”

“Jill was so great to work with, our sweet girl liked her from the start. You can tell how much Jill loves animals and they love her. Thanks Jill for the peice of mind knowing Bella was in good hands.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for many years on and off. I’m intuitive and want to help them enjoy their lives on this planet! :) I work multiple jobs in the film industry, so I’m usually on and off with work. This allows me time to pet-sit and walk on the side- my favorite! I’m great with many different temperaments and love to spend time with animals. I usually take my own dog out a few times a day to the park for a walk.
“Katti is a wonderful sitter. She took great care of our cats while we were out of town. Katti sent numerous pictures daily to show their playtime, pets and snuggles. Even our older, shy cat came out from under the bed more than once when Katti was there. We will definitely use Katti again.”
“Let me begin by saying on a 1 to 5 scale I give Joy a 10! I had to take an unplanned 9-day trip due to a family illness. I have two cats adopted from a shelter as adults. One is a feral cat and the other was mistreated and dumped at a park. To add to the complication the second is a diabetic that needs shots twice a day. Joy put in the time and effort to make sure that they were well cared for. She has a much stronger knowledge of animals that most and was able to adjust the insulin as needed based on the diabetic cat's food intake.”

About: I stand out because I have hands-on experience with strong, reactive dogs. I owned a reactive Australian Cattle Dog for 14 years and walked him two miles daily until he developed hip issues, so I understand both behavioral challenges and physical limitations. I also worked at a dog training kennel where I safely handled groups of dogs and supervised play. I prioritize calm, structured, and safe interactions, and I take time to understand each dog’s unique needs, whether they are reactive, high-energy, puppies, or seniors needing a slower, gentle approach.I treat every dog like my own, focusing on building trust and creating a positive, comfortable experience. Pet care fits easily into my routine because I’m a student with a flexible schedule. I can plan my days around walks, feedings, and check-ins, making sure each pet gets consistent care and attention. I already enjoy staying active and spending time outdoors, so daily walks and playtime are a natural part of my day. This flexibility allows me to be reliable, attentive, and responsive to each pet’s needs. I provide care in my client’s home to keep pets comfortable in their familiar environment. I follow their usual routine for feeding, walks, and any specific instructions to maintain consistency and reduce stress. I’m especially mindful with reactive or anxious dogs, using a calm, patient, and controlled approach during walks and interactions. I also keep the home clean and secure, provide regular updates, and make sure each pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, and care. My goal is to make your pet feel safe and cared for while giving you peace of mind.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Boulder City
Ashlyn was absolutely wonderful while caring for our little Yorkie, while we were out of town. She was dependable, caring, and gave us complete peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands. Ashlyn also went above and beyond by watering my plants and taking care of the little extra things around the house. Her communication, reliability, and genuine love for animals truly stood out. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter, and I would absolutely trust Ashlyn again. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone responsible, kind, and trustworthy to care for their pets.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
