Fiona was an amazing sitter, kept me updated about her drop in visits with my cat Scarlet, sent pictures and responded to any of my messages. My cat seemed very comfortable and happy after her visits and relaxed when I returned. I would definitely recommend Fiona’s pet sitting to others.

My two kitties are not the easiest charges. They were adopted as adults from the shelter and are fearful of people who have not always been nice to them. Tasha worked really hard to make sure they were cared for. I believe anyone one could feel comfort know she was caring for the feline or canine family members.

About: I stand out because I have hands-on experience with strong, reactive dogs. I owned a reactive Australian Cattle Dog for 14 years and walked him two miles daily until he developed hip issues, so I understand both behavioral challenges and physical limitations. I also worked at a dog training kennel where I safely handled groups of dogs and supervised play. I prioritize calm, structured, and safe interactions, and I take time to understand each dog’s unique needs, whether they are reactive, high-energy, puppies, or seniors needing a slower, gentle approach.I treat every dog like my own, focusing on building trust and creating a positive, comfortable experience. Pet care fits easily into my routine because I’m a student with a flexible schedule. I can plan my days around walks, feedings, and check-ins, making sure each pet gets consistent care and attention. I already enjoy staying active and spending time outdoors, so daily walks and playtime are a natural part of my day. This flexibility allows me to be reliable, attentive, and responsive to each pet’s needs. I provide care in my client’s home to keep pets comfortable in their familiar environment. I follow their usual routine for feeding, walks, and any specific instructions to maintain consistency and reduce stress. I’m especially mindful with reactive or anxious dogs, using a calm, patient, and controlled approach during walks and interactions. I also keep the home clean and secure, provide regular updates, and make sure each pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, and care. My goal is to make your pet feel safe and cared for while giving you peace of mind.

Alex was very accommodating, even on extremely short notice! Within 24 hours of our needed day and time, Alex made certain to come do a meet and greet with our dogs. During Alex’s time with our boys, we received many photos and information about how the stay went. We are greatly appreciative of Alex and we look forward to working with Alex in the future as needed.

About: I am comfortable caring for dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies who need extra supervision and consistency to senior dogs who may require a slower pace, medication reminders, or additional comfort and attention. I pay close attention to each pet’s routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, and personality to help them feel secure and at home while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I currently work from home, which allows me to provide plenty of supervision, attention, and companionship throughout the day. Pets are rarely left alone and can enjoy regular potty breaks, playtime, walks, feeding schedules, and lots of affection. I provide a clean, pet-friendly environment with plenty of supervision, attention, and affection throughout the day. Dogs will have opportunities for exercise, enrichment, and rest, and I make sure they always have access to fresh water and a comfortable place to relax.

Maranda was a lifesaver for us during the holiday! We’d never used a service to have our pets looked after in-home, and were a bit apprehensive, but Maranda put us totally at ease. She came over a few days early to introduce herself and meet our cats, and it made us feel completely comfortable. She also was completely willing

About: For me, I have always been a dog lover of my own. When I lived in Florida I would dog watch 3 dogs that were my neighbors. Then I had decided to make it apart of my career. So I did local dog walking, dog sitting, dog play dates for people at the hospital that owned dogs and were busy working during the day. Then when I moved to Las Vegas, I started school back up and I had to find another career because it was hard to do both. Now I want it to be apart of my day to day life. I always make sure that any dog I see, I say hi and give them affection to any size, any breed, and gender! I am also in the process of learning the ways of how to train puppies more so as well. I’m always available at any time in the day. My schedule is pretty open. As long as I have a 2 hour minimum, we will be good! I always update my calendar so any days I am booked, I will mark it in the calendar. I currently stay in a home with my two dogs and My 1 year old baby girl. The house has 3, it is a 1 story home, in a quiet community, in which I have neighbors who are all great people. I have a small dog of my own, her name is Bella. She is a cock-a-tzu (which is a mix of a cocker spaniel and a shih) she is a friendly dog, is up to date on all shots and is clean and free from any and everything. I do have my bigger dog, Ky who is a Husky mix. He is full of energy and loves to be around other dogs. If needed, I can seperate them from your dog if needed. My fiance is also an animal lover and is a genuine person to be around. I have a backyard that has brick walls surrounding so there’s safety and assurance. There is grass, Rocks, pants, and a patio with shade and furniture. I do provide treats, drinking bowls, and food if needed (if they require special food, we can arrange such) the home is spacious, the are allowed on furniture and I do own a play pin for dogs and toys. Along with a cage if needed, if you have a cage (if they are kennel trained) you may bring it along as well.

About: I love dogs and taking care of them. I have taken care of many of my friends and family’s dogs and my own! I love taking walks and having your fur baby come with me would be a beautiful addition! I also have my own website for pet sitting and dog walking if you’re not a fan of having a whole process over Rover. Just message me and let me know you’re interested in that! I currently work from home and I have so much time on my hands to be able to care and play with your precious fur baby! I live in a condo with no yard, but with a beautiful grass area right next to me to walk and play with a leashed dog. ( or unleashed, if you’re comfortable with that) I currently don’t have a dog, so if your dog is selective with other dogs this would be a perfect fit! I am able to go on walks and outside to play anytime of the day as long as the ground isn’t too hot for their paws! My home has a gate the upstairs for any dogs that could potentially hurt themselves trying to use stairs.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Boulder City. On Rover:

  • 93% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
