I am currently in college (this will not stop me from watching your pets!) which sometimes results in me having to ask for slight time changes. Overall, I will make schedules that will work for you based on a time that you provide me. I do work on Fridays from 2pm-5:30pm and 8am-1pm on Saturdays. I am able to take care of animals right before work and I can stop by after work to ensure that the animals are taken care of. I am generally not a busy person, so if you need a specific day and time, let me know and I can work something out.

I really prefer to take pets while they are at their own homes. Pets feel more comfortable knowing where their territory is and finding the places they can hide in if they are having trouble getting used to the sitter. This allows me to take it easy and slow and go where the pet allows me to. I can take care of your home while you are gone too, like watering plants or closing the blinds, but I will mostly focus on the dog and their needs, ie. food, water, play time, potty time, and attention of course. I want the client to know that their animal is safe in their home and comfortable while the client is gone.

Please let me know in advanced if your animal has dietary restrictions, special needs, medications, or anything that might impact their daily living. I want to ensure that all animals are properly cared for especially if it is the first time working with them. Nothing will be missed and if it is, then I will contact the client straight away to receive the information needed.
A typical day
If it is acceptable by the client, I would love to take your animal(s) to a park or even out in an open yard to let them play and sniff as needed. I generally try to tire out the animals so that they feel cared for and taken care of in the event that I have to leave and come back at a sooner time. From throwing a ball to just sitting in the sun with your furry friend, I will do anything that makes them happy.

Hi, my name is Ashlyn, for 10 years of my life, I have had an animal by my side. I have worked with small chihuahuas, gentle pit bulls, wild cattle dogs, and senior golden retrievers before. I have had to work with partially blind dogs and auditory impaired cats, so I know the needs of different animals and can accommodate for their needs and how they are treated. I have not had the chance to work with puppies yet, so I would eventually like to work with them after I gain some experience. I am willing to meet any dog and I do not exclude any breeds. I know the site asks for pictures, but I mostly do take pictures with the dogs unless the owner asks me to, I focus on the pet rather than posting pictures.

Ashlyn was absolutely wonderful while caring for our little Yorkie, while we were out of town. She was dependable, caring, and gave us complete peace of mind knowing he was in such good hands.
