Tasha was fantastic taking care of Red my enthusiastic Vizsla. And everyone at the dog park fell in love with her son, Braxton, including Red, who had never met a young person before. I can't recommend her highly enough. Thank you so much Tasha.

Ashlyn is absolutely wonderful! She is the best dog walker I could ever imagine having. We have a relatively skiddish Boarder Collie rescue dog, and Ashlyn was so calm and patient with her. Now our dog absolutely loves Ashlyn. She is super flexible, reliable, and communicative. On more than one occasion I’ve needed to request her last minute, and she always does her best to accommodate. I’m so grateful to have found someone so reliable and so wonderful with our dog. Thank you, Ashlyn!

Brittany walked Milo and Cooper for me while I was out of town for the weekend. She did a great job making sure they were taken care of while I was away. She was very friendly, caring, and kept me informed throughout the process. I would highly recommend Brittany and plan to use her services in the future.

About: My husband Michael and I are passionate, lifelong dog lovers who truly treat every pet as family. We’ve both grown up with dogs and can’t imagine life without them. Today, we share our home with our two beloved fur babies: Bella, our sweet 12-year-old Samoyed, and Little Dawg Snacks, our fun-loving 7-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog/Poodle mix. In our home, dogs aren’t just pets—they’re family. Our pups are welcome everywhere with us, including on the furniture and snuggled up in bed at night. We believe dogs thrive on love, comfort, and companionship, and we’re proud to offer a home full of all three. We take our dogs along whenever possible, ensuring they’re included, stimulated, and never feel left out. When caring for your fur baby, we provide the same level of love, attention, and respect that we give our own. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, walks, or simply keeping them company, we’re dedicated to making sure every dog feels safe, happy, and right at home. You can rest easy knowing your pet will be cared for by experienced, attentive sitters who genuinely adore animals and treat them like part of the family. 🐾❤️ We have a 10 year old Samoyed that goes everywhere with us. Our Bella is our family and we take her everywhere with us and make sure she gets as much attention as we can give her. It is very important to make sure each pet feels comfortable and safe in our care. Making sure we are calming and relaxing around the pets.

About: I love dogs and taking care of them. I have taken care of many of my friends and family’s dogs and my own! I love taking walks and having your fur baby come with me would be a beautiful addition! I also have my own website for pet sitting and dog walking if you’re not a fan of having a whole process over Rover. Just message me and let me know you’re interested in that! I currently work from home and I have so much time on my hands to be able to care and play with your precious fur baby! I live in a condo with no yard, but with a beautiful grass area right next to me to walk and play with a leashed dog. ( or unleashed, if you’re comfortable with that) I currently don’t have a dog, so if your dog is selective with other dogs this would be a perfect fit! I am able to go on walks and outside to play anytime of the day as long as the ground isn’t too hot for their paws! My home has a gate the upstairs for any dogs that could potentially hurt themselves trying to use stairs.

Alex was very reliable, responsible, and friendly sitter. She took the time to come by ahead and introduce herself. She sent photos and a diagram of where she took Marlie for a walk. We were visiting Yellowstone and w/o cell service, I was still at ease everything was ok. I recommend Alex and would use her in the future if we are in the area.?

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover and currently have two dogs and a cat of my own, so caring for multiple pets with different needs and personalities is part of my everyday life! I understand how important routines are for pets, especially when their people are away. I’m comfortable following detailed instructions for feeding, walks, playtime, litter box care, and each pet’s individual routine. I’m also comfortable with different personalities. From energetic dogs ready for an adventure to shy or independent pets who need some extra patience and space to feel comfortable. Most importantly, I’ll care for your pets the way I’d want someone to care for mine: with patience, attention, affection, and plenty of updates so you can feel confident they’re happy and well cared for. 🐾 I currently work full time, but on my days off I have plenty of flexibility to dedicate to pet care. I’d love to spend that extra time helping your pets get the exercise, attention, and companionship they need. I’ll keep my Rover availability updated so you’ll always know when I’m available! Your pet’s safety and comfort will always be my priority. I’ll follow your care instructions closely and respect your pet’s normal routine and boundaries while in your home. I’m attentive on walks and during visits, and you can expect updates and plenty of photos so you can feel confident knowing your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for.

About: I have done in home dog/house/baby sitting for years now. My word of mouth references are phenomenal, I can get you references upon request. I am reliable and trustworthy and realize some people dont want to board their pets for hundred of bucks while they take a vacation. I will work with you on the price. I love dogs of all sizes/breeds. I grew up with dogs all the time. I would prefer to see some sort of shot record for the dogs, as I do not want to get into a job and have the dog bite me and get sick. Hope that is understandable! Message me for details. I am flexible with dates. I hope to speak with you in the near future! I work from home and have a dog door and yard so the pets can easily access outdoors to use the restroom at any time I have a grass area in the yard and plenty of area for pets to play in and/or be separated in if need be of course

About: I’ve taken care of and lived with dogs and cats since a very young age. I started with caring for my neighbors animals and started doing it professionally 5 years ago as a freshman in highschool. I would stay overnight and work with multiple animals at once. I also have cared for animals for up to one month at a time. I am prepared to cater to all animals needs and do everything necessary to keep them safe and happy. I recently moved to Henderson from Oregon and currently work in real estate, which gives me a flexible schedule and open availability. My career allows me to manage my time well and be dependable, responsive, and accommodating to both clients and pets’ needs. I make sure every animal receives the proper exercise, attention, and nutrition while in my care. I understand that some pets may feel nervous or anxious when away from their family, so I always take the time to help them feel comfortable and secure by maintaining a routine as close as possible to what they are used to at home.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
