“Ashlyn is absolutely wonderful! She is the best dog walker I could ever imagine having. We have a relatively skiddish Boarder Collie rescue dog, and Ashlyn was so calm and patient with her. Now our dog absolutely loves Ashlyn. She is super flexible, reliable, and communicative. On more than one occasion I’ve needed to request her last minute, and she always does her best to accommodate. I’m so grateful to have found someone so reliable and so wonderful with our dog. Thank you, Ashlyn!”

“Tasha was fantastic taking care of Red my enthusiastic Vizsla. And everyone at the dog park fell in love with her son, Braxton, including Red, who had never met a young person before. I can't recommend her highly enough. Thank you so much Tasha.”

“Emily was so fantastic with Olive and Koda. I was so nervous to leave my girls but they were left in such great hands. We will be booking so often now that they are comfortable and we’re so happy! Thank you again!!!”

“Angie is amazing! I have two mini schnauzers one of whom is very hard to get to know. He is just so wary of strangers but when we did the meet and greet he took to her almost immediately I was pleasantly surprised. Needless to say she is my regular walker! My boys absolutely love her. She sends tons of pictures and is trustworthy! I am fortunate to have found her! If you need a great dog walker, pet sitter etc. Angie should be your first pick!”

About: I have taken care of pets from as young as 8 weeks old all the way to senior dogs. I’ve been taking care of animals pretty much my whole life and have always helped out relatives with their own pets. I don’t have any pet preferences as I’m not allergic and I love all animals. Officially I have been taking care of other people’s animals outside my own family and friends for 5 years I’m a college student the only days I can’t do are Wednesdays since I have class but besides that my schedule is pretty flexible. Will work with you according. My dog Freya is friendly and doesn’t have an aggressive personality she is a submissive to other dogs and animals I used to have guinea pigs and they would even bully her. But in other people’s home I like to learn what their pets boundaries are how they like to receive affection. I want to know if they are weary of certain actions like touching their paws or they don’t like their belly to be touched. It’s important to respect animals boundaries especially in their own home.
About: As a self-employed, work-from-anywhere business owner and avid animal lover, I'm able to be with your animals around the clock in the comfort of their own home. My schedule allows me the flexibility to give them plenty of love and attention so boarding isn't ever a consideration. I have done a variety of pet-sitting jobs throughout my life but most recently stayed back-to-back in the homes of two Southern California families who took vacations a week apart and didn't want to put their animals in a boarding facility. Not only were they more relaxed about knowing a reliable person was there to look out for their home, but they also were able to enjoy themselves more knowing their pets were happy in the comfort of their own home, receiving just as much love (or more!) as they do any day of the week. To me, pets are just as important as any human member of the family and I'm on a mission to help families keep their pets at home instead of forcing them to endure the potential trauma of a boarding facility, allowing everyone to have a better experience. I work from home and I'm available to provide round-the-clock care to your pets while you are on vacation, away on business, or in whatever situation takes you from home. I am self-employed and have an extremely flexible schedule. I'm interested in preventing families from having to board their pets when they are out of town, whether it's for the weekend, a quick mid-week trip, or several weeks at a time. I am not opening my home for this service, but am committing to keeping your animals in the comfort of their own home and all that is familiar to them while you're away.
About: More than just a lifestyle, the ability to communicate with pets is a genuine gift, one I'm grateful to have. There's a certain magnetic connection some individuals share with animals, and I count myself among them. Treating them with respect opens the door to profound understanding and response. The deep bonds I've nurtured with my own and my friends' beloved animals are a testament to this. The thought of the symbiotic relationship between humans and pets fills me with joy. The simple pleasures of running, walking, and playing together highlight this beautiful connection. In a world that often demands human connection, the unique bond we share with our pets offers something truly special and essential. It's a mutual need, a reciprocal love that enriches both our lives. Being a graduate student on summer break means my scheduling is very flexible and I'm readily available. I am not able to host right now. Check fences for gaps or weaknesses. Keep harmful items out of reach. Appropriate and safe chew toys. Comfortable rest area with a crate, bed or quiet corner
About: I am a student with animal hospital experience and a big heart for furry friends. I can administer medication, first aid, senior care and puppy care. I am currently part time, Monday-Wednesday, therefore have plenty of open availability / time for overnight house sitting and drop in visits or extended stays. I will always prioritise the safety and security of not only your pets / family but your home during my visits. I am very detail oriented and cautious about safety.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for many years on and off. I’m intuitive and want to help them enjoy their lives on this planet! :) I work multiple jobs in the film industry, so I’m usually on and off with work. This allows me time to pet-sit and walk on the side- my favorite! I’m great with many different temperaments and love to spend time with animals. I usually take my own dog out a few times a day to the park for a walk.
About: Hi! I’ve had dogs since I was a teenager and currently have a 7 year old Jack Russel terrier. I have a lot of experience with dogs that are easily skittish or a bit aggressive. I currently work from home so have all the time in the world to care for your pet! I don’t have a set schedule so I can be flexible. I have a fenced in backyard. I am careful to make sure your dog is always leashed up and is safe for a walk or boarding.
About: My parents raised Old English Sheepdogs and when my kids were growing up we did rescue for Yorkers and our kids learned how important it is to take care of your pets and show them all the love and affection you can give them. We have a 10 year old Samoyed that goes everywhere with us. Our Bella is our family and we take her everywhere with us and make sure she gets as much attention as we can give her. It is very important to make sure each pet feels comfortable and safe in our care. Making sure we are calming and relaxing around the pets.
About: I LOVE animals of all kinds and have lived alongside onw for as long as I can remember. I am so drawn to them and adore their company. I have been on the Rover app for over 5 years now, I’ve volunteered in shelters, cat sanctuaries & before that would watch family, friends and neighbors pets! I am open to providing any services you’d like when it comes to taking care of your pet. We will spend lots of time together, I will be feeding, playing, keeping them company, giving them lots of love, going on walks and administering any medication if needed. I will take in your pet as if they were my own and consider them to be my number one priority. It doesn’t matter if your pet is extremely shy, super friendly, or if there are multiple, I am happy to assist however I can in helping with anything you need! I also have experience with anxious pets so no worries at all if you feel yours may need more time to warm up to people. After looking after so many different four-legged friends over the years, ranging from dogs and cats to fish & reptiles, I can say that I am very confident when it comes to caring for animals. I really connect with them and understand them. Some might call me the pet whisperer hehe I mostly provide house sitting services, drop-in visits and walks. House sitting gigs work best for me, that way I'd be staying overnight in your home with your pet(s). Alternatively we are also happy to board here in our family home, we have a big yard for your pet(s) to run around in and lots of space for them to explore inside our home. (Not to mention my family are also animal lovers!) However I will say, the only thing with boarding is that we do have cats so as long as that’s not a problem, reach out and I'd be more than happy to help you with what you need. You should expect plenty of photo and video updates throughout the stay! Once you’ve reached out, we can start by arranging a meet and greet so that we can ensure it’s a good fit. I am currently pet sitting full time and have a really flexible schedule. Whether you’d like me to look after your pet overnight or just in the daytime, like I said above, I am available to house sit or board, regardless of the length of stay. I also accept longer bookings that last a few months at a time so if you need to leave town for a longer period, no problem at all! If you have any questions, requests or concerns, please don’t hesitate whatsoever to reach out and I will get back to you asap! I look forward to meeting you and your pet(s), - Grace :) *Previously ‘Grace & Selina’* My schedule is very flexible as I now do this full time so I am always available to keep an eye on the pups, play with them and give them plenty of attention! I will take care your pet and your home as if it was my own. I will leave your home the way I found it.

With experience in dog behavior and training, I’m prepared to handle dogs of all temperaments, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for each pet. I prioritize communication and provide regular updates, including photos, so owners can feel at ease knowing their dog is in good hands. I’m also trained in pet first aid, so safety is always my top priority. My flexible scheduling, combined with extra services like extended walks, playtime, and even grooming, ensures that each dog not only feels comfortable but truly enjoys their time away from home. Above all, I love building a bond with every dog I care for, giving them a trusted companion while their owner is away. As a part-time worker, I’m able to fit pet care seamlessly into my daily routine. My flexible schedule allows me to balance work and personal time, giving me the freedom to organize my day around pet visits, walks, and care sessions. This setup means I can dedicate quality time to each pet, ensuring they get the attention and care they deserve while I manage my other responsibilities. The variety in my day keeps things interesting, and spending time with animals is such a rewarding break from work—it truly enhances my routine. When caring for my own pets at home, I focus on building a routine that ensures they get plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and affection. I make sure they have a mix of outdoor activities, like walks and playtime, as well as indoor enrichment with toys, puzzles, and quality time together. Health and hygiene are priorities too, so I stay on top of feeding schedules, grooming, and any necessary vet check-ups. For my clients’ pets, I bring the same level of dedication and care. I take time to understand each pet’s specific needs and routines, so I can provide a consistent, comforting experience for them. Whether it’s regular walks, feeding schedules, or just plenty of companionship, I aim to create a stress-free, enjoyable time for each pet I care for.
About: Besides having dogs as my best friend all my life, I have also worked for Animal shelters and a privately owned rescue shelter. One shelter I worked for had 75 dogs I cared for and learning as much as I could for them was beneficial for my safety and the dogs well being. I am currently retired and have lots of flexibility. I sometimes travel for business but this is easy to work around. And I know well in advance. I have always believed that pets are much like children, if I can see or hear them I have to check on them. I like to be familiar with any "noises" a dog makes for particular needs. I am a published writer and will most likely spend time on my laptop. And I need silence so I hear everything!
