“Ashlyn is absolutely wonderful! She is the best dog walker I could ever imagine having. We have a relatively skiddish Boarder Collie rescue dog, and Ashlyn was so calm and patient with her. Now our dog absolutely loves Ashlyn. She is super flexible, reliable, and communicative. On more than one occasion I’ve needed to request her last minute, and she always does her best to accommodate. I’m so grateful to have found someone so reliable and so wonderful with our dog. Thank you, Ashlyn!”

“Tasha was fantastic taking care of Red my enthusiastic Vizsla. And everyone at the dog park fell in love with her son, Braxton, including Red, who had never met a young person before. I can't recommend her highly enough. Thank you so much Tasha.”

About: I've had pets since I was young. Cat and dogs! I've also helped take care of friends and family pets! Whether it was to feed them, bathe them, or walk them, I did it! I have a very open schedule besides schooling! Weekends I am almost fully available, besides little things here and there. Mornings could be a little rough, but not impossible! Whatever your pet needs, I will accommodate! I am willing to make sure your pet feels safe and comfortable, if the environment isn't up to expectation, I'll try my best to make it better!
About: More than just a lifestyle, the ability to communicate with pets is a genuine gift, one I'm grateful to have. There's a certain magnetic connection some individuals share with animals, and I count myself among them. Treating them with respect opens the door to profound understanding and response. The deep bonds I've nurtured with my own and my friends' beloved animals are a testament to this. The thought of the symbiotic relationship between humans and pets fills me with joy. The simple pleasures of running, walking, and playing together highlight this beautiful connection. In a world that often demands human connection, the unique bond we share with our pets offers something truly special and essential. It's a mutual need, a reciprocal love that enriches both our lives. Being a graduate student on summer break means my scheduling is very flexible and I'm readily available. I am not able to host right now. Check fences for gaps or weaknesses. Keep harmful items out of reach. Appropriate and safe chew toys. Comfortable rest area with a crate, bed or quiet corner

About: As a self-employed, work-from-anywhere business owner and avid animal lover, I'm able to be with your animals around the clock in the comfort of their own home. My schedule allows me the flexibility to give them plenty of love and attention so boarding isn't ever a consideration. I have done a variety of pet-sitting jobs throughout my life but most recently stayed back-to-back in the homes of two Southern California families who took vacations a week apart and didn't want to put their animals in a boarding facility. Not only were they more relaxed about knowing a reliable person was there to look out for their home, but they also were able to enjoy themselves more knowing their pets were happy in the comfort of their own home, receiving just as much love (or more!) as they do any day of the week. To me, pets are just as important as any human member of the family and I'm on a mission to help families keep their pets at home instead of forcing them to endure the potential trauma of a boarding facility, allowing everyone to have a better experience. I work from home and I'm available to provide round-the-clock care to your pets while you are on vacation, away on business, or in whatever situation takes you from home. I am self-employed and have an extremely flexible schedule. I'm interested in preventing families from having to board their pets when they are out of town, whether it's for the weekend, a quick mid-week trip, or several weeks at a time. I am not opening my home for this service, but am committing to keeping your animals in the comfort of their own home and all that is familiar to them while you're away.

About: Im new too Rover, but I have around 2 years of experience caring for dogs while being in college through helping friends and family! During that time I’ve helped feeding, walking, playtime, and sometimes overnight care if they were going on vacation. I’m patient, dependable, and genuinely enjoy being around animals. I understand how important it is for pet owners to feel confident that their dogs are being cared for with intention and love. 😊 I’m currently free for the summer so I have very flexible availability until my classes start up again in August! I would prefer to walk in the mornings due to Vegas heat being too hot for little paws but I am open to whatever is needed About once or twice a week I help take care of my grandparents dog on various days when they need me they are retired so every couple of months they go on cruises and I am usually the one who stays at their house to care for their dog
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for many years on and off. I’m intuitive and want to help them enjoy their lives on this planet! :) I work multiple jobs in the film industry, so I’m usually on and off with work. This allows me time to pet-sit and walk on the side- my favorite! I’m great with many different temperaments and love to spend time with animals. I usually take my own dog out a few times a day to the park for a walk.
About: Always been a pet home since I was little. My pets are my family too. I'll make your feel at home while there here too. I'm home so taking care of your family member is my priority. Lots of rubs, a walk, or just someone to lay with i'm there. I live in apartment thats very pet friendly, have potty area outside and take daily walks. Small friendly 2yr old Yorkie to keep your baby company. Following your instructions on care of your family member is important to me to be sure there taking care of just like they're at home.
“I appreciate Anna's care and attention to Cooper. She went above and beyond in spending time with him and providing the needed care. Will deficit request her for future needs.”

About: Besides having dogs as my best friend all my life, I have also worked for Animal shelters and a privately owned rescue shelter. One shelter I worked for had 75 dogs I cared for and learning as much as I could for them was beneficial for my safety and the dogs well being. I am currently retired and have lots of flexibility. I sometimes travel for business but this is easy to work around. And I know well in advance. I have always believed that pets are much like children, if I can see or hear them I have to check on them. I like to be familiar with any "noises" a dog makes for particular needs. I am a published writer and will most likely spend time on my laptop. And I need silence so I hear everything!

About: I’ve had a range of animals from birds, fish, reptiles, dogs, rodents, you name it. My mom was also a dog breeder growing up so I’ve raised and trained many puppies. I served an LDS mission in Australia so I’ve seen it all and am not afraid. I’m currently studying at BYU Hawaii and will be home for the summer starting July. I will return back to school in the middle of August. I may do a few trips in the summer but none are for sure yet. As of right now I’m willing to work everyday! Animals to me deserve to be treated like humans. They bring me so much joy and I know how to read an animals body language very well. Whatever your pet needs I will do my best to go above and beyond

About: Now I know you always want the best for your furry ones and I can assure you when they are in my hands they will receive nothing but the best care! Hello, I’m Bailee! I have been watching dogs for years. Whether it is a neighbor away on vacation or at a vet clinic. I held an internship at a vet’s office for almost a year working with the boarded animals. I fed them, watered them, played with them, and even bathed them. Short and tall I have surely seen it all! If you have any questions or would like to get some more info about me feel free to message me! I promise I won’t bite! I am available for walks on the weekdays and full availability on the weekends for anything you need! Have something specific in mind? Reach out and we can figure something out! I am very flexible and can tailor the service to your pup's needs. We can figure out a plan to make sure your furry friend gets the best care possible!
“Alex was very reliable, responsible, and friendly sitter. She took the time to come by ahead and introduce herself. She sent photos and a diagram of where she took Marlie for a walk. We were visiting Yellowstone and w/o cell service, I was still at ease everything was ok. I recommend Alex and would use her in the future if we are in the area.?”

About: I LOVE animals of all kinds, I am so drawn to them and adore their company. I’ve lived with pets for as long as I can remember. I have been on the Rover app for over 6 years now, I’ve volunteered in shelters, cat sanctuaries & before that would watch family, friends and neighbors pets! I am open to providing any services you’d like when it comes to taking care of your pet. We will spend lots of time together, I will be feeding, playing, keeping them company, giving them lots of love, going on walks and administering any medication if needed. I will take in your pet as if they were my own and consider them to be my number one priority. It doesn’t matter if your pet is extremely shy, super friendly, or if there are multiple, I am happy to assist however I can in helping with anything you need! I also have experience with anxious pets so no worries at all if you feel yours may need more time to warm up to people. After looking after so many different four-legged friends over the years, ranging from dogs and cats to fish & reptiles, I can say that I am very confident when it comes to caring for animals. I really connect with them and understand them. Some might call me the pet whisperer hehe I mostly provide house sitting services, drop-in visits and walks. House sitting gigs work best for me, that way I'd be staying overnight in your home with your pet(s). Alternatively we are also happy to board here in our family home, we have a big yard for your pet(s) to run around in and lots of space for them to explore inside our home. (Not to mention my family are also animal lovers!) However I will say, the only thing with boarding is that we do have cats so as long as that’s not a problem, reach out and I'd be more than happy to help you with what you need. You should expect plenty of photo and video updates throughout the stay! Once you’ve reached out, we can start by arranging a meet and greet so that we can ensure it’s a good fit. I am currently pet sitting full time and have a really flexible schedule. Whether you’d like me to look after your pet overnight or just in the daytime, like I said above, I am available to house sit or board, regardless of the length of stay. I also accept longer bookings that last a few months at a time so if you need to leave town for a longer period, no problem at all! If you have any questions, requests or concerns, please don’t hesitate whatsoever to reach out and I will get back to you asap! I look forward to meeting you and your pet(s), - Grace :) *Previously ‘Grace & Selina’* My schedule is very flexible as I now do this full time so I am always available to keep an eye on the pups, play with them and give them plenty of attention! I will take care your pet and your home as if it was my own. I will leave your home the way I found it.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
