“Ashlyn is amazing. She has watched our older cat a few times now. She always sends the cutest pictures and keeps us updated on how he is doing. Ashlyn is very respectful of our house and we will definitely be booking her again. Thank you”

“Madi is fabulous!! We used her as a house sitter and to watch over our 3 small dogs and she did a wonderful job. The house was left in exceptionally clean condition and from the daily photos she sent us, we know the dogs loved her. Highly recommend her and for sure, she is on the top of our list for future services.”

“Jill was very communicative and easy to work with. We enjoyed her daily updates and she was very patient and thorough with my senior dogs specific needs. We would definitely book again!”

About: I treat all animals with compassion and patience. I love all kinds of animals. I’ve had animals in my house since I was a little kid and have always treated them like my kids. I know going out of town to be a stressful situation when you’re a pet owner and I just want to alleviate any of that anxiety(: What separates our family from other sitters is your fur babies will be hosted by a family vs an individual. We run our account as a family- kiddos, parents, and all the love❤️ NEW Weekly Pup-date: Starting in September, every Saturday night will be pup movie night for all boarded pups(: we will have pumpkin and rice treats on the menu (for those who can partake), lots of snuggles, and a group sleepover complete with a fort- curtesy of our kiddos! Don’t miss the puppy party and book asap (3 spaces available for each Saturday!) We have dogs as well so pet care and maintenance is a big part of our lives. Between dog walks, taking them out for potty breaks, feeding them, bathing them and making their own food- being a fur family takes up most of our day! Our dogs are crate trained, and stay upstairs in our home as they are seniors now. Any animals that we would be taking in would stay downstairs so they all have their own space. We try to avoid crating and would only crate them if we had to go out for short time periods or if they exhibit signs of needed to be crated (destructive behaviors or aggression). We have a fenced backyard where they can go outside to use the restroom and live in a nice community so we can go for walks or to the park across the street.
“Haley was a great sitter for our three dogs for the ten days we were gone. She would send messages and pictures to keep us updated. She went above and beyond by doing a few chores and cleaning up after herself and the dogs.”

“Cody was great watching our dog Bella doing overnights at our house. We took an international trip with a large time difference, so we needed someone trustworthy, reliable and responsive. He communicated excellently and was available whenever we reached out to him for updates. It was very apparent that her well-being and comfort was very important to him. She bonded with him easily which put our minds at ease while on the trip. Plan to use Cody again on our next trip and would recommend him wholeheartedly. Thanks Cody!”

“Maya stepped into a chaotic situation with my three cats: one who wasn't feeling great and only eats tiny amounts, but snacks often, an 8-month-old kitten who isn't very regular with meals yet, and a third adult cat who hates the kitten and isn't shy about letting him know, and who only eats raw food twice daily. A real circus. Maya and her partner who also stayed handled it with poise, and everyone was fed and happy when we returned. Thanks for letting us get away for a few days! Couldn't have done it without you!”

“We had a very smooth and pleasant time working with Maranda! We met with her prior to her stay with our dog Sadie and she was very thoughtful and helpful and asked questions we hadn't even thought of. During the stay she was in contact with us with pictures and updates that we greatly appreciated! Sadie was able to get out of the house a lot and experience things she normally wouldn't, which we think was really good for her. Not only was she watching our dog but she made sure our house was looked after and did a great job. Would definitely recommend!”

“Patricia stayed at our home and took care of our 3 big boys. We came back to a clean home and found our babies well taken care of. She is very professional and at the same time very friendly, kind, and understanding. I highly recommend Patricia to care for your precious ones.”

“Nina went above and beyond in taking care of our furbaby and taking care of our home. She is trustworthy, respectful, and caring. We hope to have her for future care and would highly recommend her. Thank you, Nina.”

“Alex is amazing! We have used here several times and she takes wonderful care of our home and most importantly our pet! Alex goes above and beyond and is great with updates and pictures.”

“Jessica is amazing! I’ve been lucky enough to book her 2x for overnight puppy sitting. I felt so much better knowing she was there. She is great with communicating, sends awesome pictures, and follows all instructions. My dog loves her too. I’d book her every time if I could.”

“Faith did amazing! She was so sweet with all of my babies. I have 2 dogs (one came out of town with me), 3 cats, 2 turtles, and a gecko, so I have quite the crew! She checked on my reptiles, cuddled with my dog all day, and continuously checked in on both my kittens and my older cat. Her communication was amazing, and she sent me tons of photos and updates throughout my trip. When I got home, the house was picked up and everything and everyone looked great. She truly went above and beyond! I 100% recommend Faith and will definitely continue using her in the future!”

“Alexis is so sweet. She took such good care of our Bailey. She kept in touch and sent pictures which always makes us feel good. We will definitely use her again! Bailey seemed very happy.”

About: I’ve spent the past 10 years working in veterinary medicine, including 4 years in emergency and critical care. My career has given me extensive hands-on experience caring for cats and dogs with a variety of needs, personalities, and medical conditions. I’m passionate about animals and truly enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality. I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, litter box care, medication administration, and monitoring for changes in behavior or health. My veterinary background also allows me to recognize when something may not be quite right and respond appropriately. My work schedule allows me to have a flexible and consistent schedule for pet sitting. I work three 12-hour shifts from Sunday through Tuesday, which means I’m off Wednesday through Saturday every week. Having four consecutive days off gives me plenty of availability to dedicate time and attention to your pets. I’m able to schedule drop-in visits, walks, and overnight stays during my days off, and I’m happy to work with you to find a schedule that fits your pet’s needs. When caring for your pets in your home, my goal is to keep them comfortable, happy, and on their normal routine while you’re away. I understand that pets feel most secure in familiar surroundings, so I’ll provide attentive, loving care in the comfort of their own home.
About: I’ve been dog sitting for friends for 5+ years since my business allows me to work from home. I love being outside so friends and owners appreciate knowing their pups will get some exercise and enjoy themselves! I’m an Online Fitness Coach for business professionals/entrepreneurs. I work remotely so I have open time to care for your dogs. I’m very into fitness and staying active so I’ll bring them on my outdoor adventures (walks, runs, hikes etc)! I live in an apartment with a balcony so your dogs will always be in view. My complex has a dog park with other normal parks walking distance. I can crate your dogs as long as it’s provided and they are trained. I stay local every day so always have time to check on dogs even if I step out. If I’m getting outside for exercise, they’re definitely coming with me!
About: I have worked with 2 rescues in the Las Vegas area for several years, volunteering and fostering. I currently have my 33rd foster. My home has been inspected and approved by both rescues for all dogs, small to large. I primarily do medical rehabs and I am comfortable administering any medications, medicated baths,or working with any pet who might have specific needs that require a little extra care. Having worked with so many pups without information about their background, I am able to quickly read each pup and adjust for their safety, comfort and individual personalities. My home is quiet and serene for animals that are not used to noise. I do not allow any bullying, humping or aggression between any pups. They will have total access to the backyard thru the doggie door. I will keep your baby on the schedule they are used to. All dog beds, toys, blankets and floors are washed and sanitized between every client. Not only will your baby be safe, we will have a lot of fun. I will engage them with puzzles, games of hide and seek, playtime, walks, and endless snuggles and will send pictures and videos throughout their time with me. I currently work from home so I will be able to keep a close eye on your baby. I do daily walks and we visit the dog park often. All my animals have the freedom to enjoy the entire home. I will not crate your pet unless specifically asked to. I have a doggy door for easy access and my dogs sleep in the bed with me. I do not have children and I live alone so my home is very quiet. *All dog beds, toys, and home are washed and sanitized between each client.
About: I provide dependable, attentive care tailored to each pet’s personality, routine, and individual needs. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or prefers a calm, quiet environment, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’m patient with puppies and kittens who are still learning routines, including reinforcing basic training, house-training schedules, and positive behaviors. I also have experience caring for senior pets, providing gentle exercise, administering medications as directed, and accommodating mobility or special dietary needs. I believe communication is just as important as great pet care, so you’ll receive regular updates, photos, and prompt responses throughout your pet’s stay or visit. My goal is to give you peace of mind while ensuring your pet receives the same level of care and attention they would at home. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I plan my schedule to ensure pets receive consistent attention, regular walks or playtime, feeding on schedule, and plenty of companionship throughout the day. I enjoy being active and spending time with animals, so I make sure each pet gets the exercise, enrichment, and affection they need. Whether it’s maintaining a puppy’s routine, caring for a senior pet with specific needs, or simply providing company while you’re away, I prioritize making pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. When pets stay in my home, I treat them like part of the family. I provide a safe, clean, and pet-friendly environment where they can relax, play, and feel comfortable. I follow each pet’s regular routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and any special care instructions. I take the time to get to know each pet’s personality so they receive the right balance of activity, attention, and rest. Whether they enjoy playing, going for walks, or simply relaxing, I make sure they feel secure and loved throughout their stay. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can have peace of mind while they’re away. I also have a fence yard for play time.
“Olivia was absolutely AMAZING! She was attentive, communicative and took amazing care of my dog. She sent daily updates that were detailed and showed just how much she really took the time to get to know my dog. My dog can be very wary of new people and most of the time is very timid with sitter but by the second day Olivia had worked so hard to build her trust that my dog was playing with her in the yard and was excited to see her everytime she came over. Olivia is also incredibly clean and considerate. She will be the only dog sitter I use moving forward. Don’t hesitate, BOOK HER NOW!!!”

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Boulder City walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Boulder City maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Boulder City choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Boulder City. On Rover:
- 94% of sitters can help with special care needs

- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
