“Madi is great! We were very happy with her taking care of our pup and watching our house. She is punctual with communication and meetings; she accommodated our requests; and she was a very good house guest. We would book with her again anytime.”

“Olivia took excellent care of my dog, my cat, and my sister's dog as well! She stayed in my home for a three day, two night petsitting request, and she took great care of my house & belongings as well. Olivia is very pleasant to be around, and the animals loved her. She'll provide plenty of cuddle time as well as play time, and she follows detailed instructions without issue. I'd certainly hire her again. Thank you!”

“Jill took great care of our French bulldog Koda while we were out of town working. She was very attentive and caring about his quirks and special needs. We always got updates and pictures everyday so we knew how things were going and how our Koda boy was doing. You could tell in these updates that Jill was taking wonderful care of Koda and appreciating his personality. Jill also took great care of our house while we were gone. When we arrived home, everything was clean and tidy.”

About: Hello, Hope your day is going well! My name is Crystal! I’ve been a Boulder City resident for the past 10 years, and I truly love being part of such a close-knit, supportive community. I grew up in a small town on a farm, where caring for animals was a daily part of life. I have hands-on experience with a wide variety of animals including farm animals, rabbits, birds, hamsters, dogs and cats. Over the last 30 years, I’ve cared for my own pets and also helped family, friends, and neighbors with theirs, building trust and long-term relationships. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it’s something I genuinely love. I’m passionate about making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. I take the time to understand each pet’s personality, routine, and needs so they can enjoy a fun, stress-free experience. Whether your pet playtime, feeding, or simply companionship, I will treat them like family and give them the attention and care they deserve. I’m reliable, attentive, and committed to giving you peace of mind while your pets are in good hands. I look forward to meeting you and your furry (or feathered!) family members! I am available for boarding at my home overnights only. Drop off is 8:00 PM and pickup is 8:00AM. Your pet must not be able to jump a 4' fence or dig under the fence. For safety, No escape artists please. I have a fenced yard with a large doggie door. Pets can go out anytime to play and or have a potty break. I have two friendly female dogs that can keep your pet company and play. Your pet will be comfortable inside the house in a temperature controlled environment.
“Patricia stayed at our home and took care of our 3 big boys. We came back to a clean home and found our babies well taken care of. She is very professional and at the same time very friendly, kind, and understanding. I highly recommend Patricia to care for your precious ones.”

“We had an amazing experience with Haley! She stayed at our home to watch our dog and cat, and she went above and beyond. Her communication was excellent the entire time—we always felt updated and completely at ease. We came home to happy pets and a spotless house. We’d absolutely book with her again!”

About: I grew up with pets at home, so I've always been around dogs and know how to read their needs. Over the past year or two, I've taken care of dogs for family and friends, including puppies, which means I'm comfortable with extra potty breaks and energy. I'm attentive, on time, and treat every dog like it's my own. As a college student with a part-time job on weekends, I have plenty of free time during the week to dedicate to your pup. I'm available weekday mornings, afternoons, and evenings, and happy to discuss weekend availability depending on my work schedule. Since I house sit at your home rather than my own, I focus on keeping your space secure by making sure doors and gates stay locked, sticking closely to your dog's normal routine (feeding, walks, bedtime), and sending photo updates so you can relax while you're away. Your home and pet's comfort are my top priority the whole time I'm there!
“Isabella is an amazing sitter!! Our Biscuit Boy loved her! She played with him daily and made him feel safe (he deals with separation anxiety). She loved on him like he was her own! Shes the sweetest and a treasure! We are truly blessed we found her.”

About: I've had a variety of pets since I was a kid. In the last 8 years, I decided to take my experience with dog walking to the next level. I have the most experience with leash training. It does take a bit of time for dogs, especially puppies, to get accustomed to walking with a leash. I feel the most satisfaction when I can teach an old (or young) dog new tricks. My mornings start with pet care — before work, I make sure any pets in my care are fed, checked on, gone for a walk and settled for the day. It’s a routine I already follow with my own cats, Francis and LJ, so caring for yours fits naturally into my day. For drop-in visits, I follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible — feeding on schedule, fresh water, and a walk or playtime depending on their needs. For cats, that includes litter box maintenance and making sure they feel comfortable rather than rushed. I always do a quick check for anything unusual — appetite, mood, or behavior — so you’re kept in the loop. My goal is for your pet to feel like their day went on as normal, even with you away.
“Nina is the best! I can't imagine being able to go away without knowing that she is taking such great care of our fur babies. She stays in constant contact, and is very loving & caring with them. I have complete confidence in her & know they are safe & well taken care of. I highly recommend Nina! ❤️”

“Always a pleasure having Jessica take care of my animals. She spends so much time with them, and always provides great little updates along with wonderful pictures. Highly recommended.”

“Alex took great care of our cat and house with both drop in visits and house sitting. She sent us amazing pictures and got a lot of cuddle time in with our cat. She also helped out with various other tasks to keep things running smoothly around our house.”

“Tanner did a fantastic job while sitting for our two dogs in our cat. They were in great shape when we got back in the house was in very good condition as well. Very thoughtful young man, and I would highly recommend him for anybody looking for a dog or a pet sitter for their fir babies.”

About: I’ve been dog sitting for friends for 5+ years since my business allows me to work from home. I love being outside so friends and owners appreciate knowing their pups will get some exercise and enjoy themselves! I’m an Online Fitness Coach for business professionals/entrepreneurs. I work remotely so I have open time to care for your dogs. I’m very into fitness and staying active so I’ll bring them on my outdoor adventures (walks, runs, hikes etc)! I live in an apartment with a balcony so your dogs will always be in view. My complex has a dog park with other normal parks walking distance. I can crate your dogs as long as it’s provided and they are trained. I stay local every day so always have time to check on dogs even if I step out. If I’m getting outside for exercise, they’re definitely coming with me!

“Erin was great! Very communitaive, prompt, she sent me daily photos and was always quick with a response if I needed to reach out to her! I will definitely be using her services again! And I know delilah and stella enjoyed her company and felt comfortable because they actually ate while I was gone! Thank you Erin for taking such great care of my fur babies and giving me that piece of mind while I was out of town !”

“Grace left our house clean and took good care of our pup. He was super happy for us to be back. She stayed in touch with us, which made it easier to leave him!”

I have cared for my friends many different animals such as ferrets, geckos, and guinea pigs. I also have experience with dogs that have anxiety, senior dog, big dogs and puppies. I am comfortable with and will babysit any dog! I am currently only working on my online school so l am very flexible with time and can come almost any hour of the day! I am very attentive and affectionate with pets and will make sure they are comfortable & have everything they need. They will receive lots of love and attention when I am visiting! 💕
“Kaya has been excellent with our dogs. Always punctual and polite and our new puppy loves her despite generally being very nervous. Kaya has a gentle spirit, good energy as soon as you meet her.”

About: I’ve been around all animals since I was a child. Dogs and cats hold the closest space to my heart. I run a lot so if your animal has high energy that is no problem. I care for any animal as if it were my own and love to meet any furry, scaly, or even feather friend! I work full time but am off work at 1pm most days I have school Monday and Thursday but only for an hour each of those days. I’m available after 1pm most days for watching, feeding, and taking on walks. I respect the owners rules set for there pet such as feedings, needing to bathe if necessary and taking the animal out when needed. I try to love these animals as much as the owners to create a trustworthy bond!

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Boulder City walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Boulder City maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Boulder City choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Boulder City. On Rover:
- 94% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
