“Hannah goes above and beyond what was expected, her attention to detail and the care she shows for my cats is immeasurable. She even tried to clean up a mess one of my cats left! Highly recommended and will definitely be hiring Hannah again!”

About: Family pets were obviously my first foray into pet care. Amongst my brothers I was the first choice to watch our youngest four legged family member. This was noticed by neighbors. While young me was a little shy to ask, other pet owners on the block would grab me for the one off walk or dog sitting session. Care continued to my own pets, and here we are. I'm a professional MMA fighter. While I'm not training I get a lot of personal time with my own little fur balls. Walks, play, even just refinding our centers, I think that being close with animals is a true cheat code to personal health. We live in a quiet neighborhood. The area has plenty of walking trails and even some open spaces to really get those four legs moving. Or we could just chill in the sun in the fenced in back yard. At your place I'm able to hang, go on walks (or run), etc. whatever your pet needs!
“Kriztel was very kind, responsible, communicative and patient with Apolo. I really appreciated her and definitely recommend her to trust your pets with her. thank you 😊”

“Elena did drop-in visits with my puppy, Rosie, and was wonderful. She was very thorough with making sure she was taking care of her the way I would. It is clear that she loves dogs, and I think Rosie loved her too! She was communicative on all of her visits and I loved the pictures that she sent me. I would work with Elena again and recommend her to anyone!”

“Shawn was a good sitter for me and my kitten. I appreciate his flexible and his care to my kitten. I was worried due to past sitters and im glad that Shawn took good care of my baby. He was communicative with me, always keeping me informed and I could easily reach him, as needed. He was descriptive in his rover cards and that helped ease my mind on how the visit with my kitten went. I asked for him to check on my kitten’s automatic food dispenser and water fountain, along with cleaning out her litter daily.”

“Nakiah is the sweetest with our two cats! She’s been so great with them and they both love her. She’s extremely responsive and communicative. Highly recommend her for your furry babies :)”

“It’s always such a relief knowing someone is there to look after my little buddy — even if he hides under the bed the whole time! Thank you for being there for him to make sure he had everything he needed.”

“She was very communicative and did well with my pups. She followed instructions well and always left my home in good condition and locked up accordingly. She also took pics of the pups which helped ease my anxiety. I highly recommend her to watch anyone’s pets.”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, from Golden Retrievers, to Lhasa Apsos, to rescue mixes, so I’m comfortable with a wide range of personalities and needs. I’ve helped train two dogs and enjoy reinforcing good habits, whether that’s basic commands, leash manners, or just keeping consistency with what you’re already working on. I’m happy to incorporate light training into walks or visits if that’s something you’d like. I’m also comfortable administering medications and paying close attention to any specific care instructions. I recently moved to the area and can’t have pets in my current apartment, so I truly love getting my dog time in by caring for others’ pets. I treat them like they’re my own! I’m a part-time student, so I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability throughout the day. I enjoy getting outside for walks and breaks, and I love incorporating that time with caring for dogs. I’m available for daytime walks and drop-ins, and I can usually adjust my schedule to fit your pet’s needs! I prioritize making your pet feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I’m happy to follow your routine exactly, whether that’s feeding schedules, walk preferences, or any specific instructions you have. In your home, I’m respectful of your space and aim to keep things calm and consistent for your pet. I’m attentive to behavior, energy levels, and any signs of stress, and I’ll always keep you updated with messages and photos so you can feel at ease!
“I couldn’t be happier 😊 we don’t use a sitter often and she was so helpful through the process and my favorite part were the pictures she sent to update us! Oreo is barely a year old and didn’t do well with boarding at a facility so this was a breath of fresh air to know she was in good hands. Will definitely book again!”

“Mindy was so awesome! Great communication, very easy and accommodating to sync up with and took wonderful care of our 14 year old cat, Teacup. She took amazing photos and left really thoughtful notes that really put my mind at ease, since this was our first trip away from Teacup in over two years. Overall A+++”

“10/10. Debbie took excellent care of my cat Ozzie. She made sure i had updates everyday i was gone. Super kind. Super professional. Just a great overall person. Look no further for your pet care needs.”

“Adam is a godsend! Our cat is quite nervous, and has medical needs that can be too much for many people. Adam treats her with great care and patience, and has no problem administering her medicine. Truly a lifesaver for our little family!”

“Brandee was a phenomenal pet caregiver professional, friendly, and incredibly dependable. Brandee arrived right on time and followed every instruction perfectly. Her patience and care with my pet instantly put me at ease. She stayed responsive throughout the entire booking, which made communication effortless. I will definitely be requesting Brandee again!”

About: Although I grew up with 2 cats and an energetic Springer Spaniel, right now, I am happily co-parenting a precious rescue terrier pup named Poppi with my best friend and roommate :). I have been around animals my whole life so I am very comfortable around all types and I can build trust with them very quickly. I promise your pets will be in caring and attentive hands! I am patient and detail oriented and just want you to be able to relax while I take care of your furry family members! I am currently training in Circus school during the middle of the day (10/11am to 5/6pm depending on the day), so I am consistently available early mornings and evenings. My roommate and I don't want to do boarding at our place with Poppi quite yet, but I am more than happy to stay the night with your pups or cats if you are comfortable with that. If not, I completely understand and I am also happy to check on them late nights & early mornings. I am available weekdays and weekends. I live in an apartment currently so no yard unfortunately, but I do live in a very walkable area and my apartment is well spacious enough for all sized dogs.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Las Vegas
RUTH WAS SIMPLY EXCELLENT!! She communicated before , during and after the visits. She kept my little monster fed while I was out of town. I contacted her on such short notice and she replied back so quickly. I am extremely satisfied. Next time I am out of town again she is my go to person.

Cannot recommend Adam enough. Friendly, professional, and a clear animal lover. We have two cats who aren’t usually friendly to new people, and I work from home so they’re not used to being in an empty house. We were surprised how quickly they warmed up to Adam during his visits, and honestly they seemed disappointed when we came back!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Las Vegas. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
