I respect their boundaries, animals are no different than humans and they deserve to be respecte, if an animal does not want to be played with, pet, or be around me, I won't bother it outside of feeding and potty time. I like to stay gentle with pets because after all they are in a new place and I know I get nervous when I'm in a new place too! I'll make sure all your pets are safe, comfortable and happy in my care!

As stated before, my care adapts to your pets needs, but if they have specific things they need I'd like to be informed, specific feeding times, or certain behaviors are very helpful to know about! Especially with older animals any advice is good advice!

I love to care for dogs and cats alike, the typical day depends on your pets personality, clingy? Probably some snuggles while watching shows, energetic? Walks, playing with toys, or helping them stay consistent with tricks (sit, stay, come, etc) I adapt to your pets, to make the change of a new person easier on their furry faces!

I've been raised around animals my whole life, taken care of many dogs and loved every single one of them. I have experience in stubborn animals, and adore playful ones too, all animals deserve love no matter age, shape or size and I'd love to give your pets some love!

I cannot recommend Kelli and her family enough! They went above and beyond while staying at our home and taking care of our four dogs (all different ages, different temperaments and needs). Kelli is a great communicator, sent us lots of updates and pictures, and has a natural way with dogs. One of our puppies can be high strung and doesn’t always listen, but was very responsive to Kelli. My husband and I returned to a very clean home and to our calm and happy four dogs. It was almost like they didn’t even notice us being gone haha. Kelli even washed out sheets and towels, which we never expected or asked for!!! This time we were gone for 3 nights and are looking forward to our soon upcoming trip abroad of 16 days. We both are relieved to have found somebody like Kelli and her family and could not ask for better dos sitters. HIGHEST recommendations!!
Kelli did an excellent job every day! She sent daily photos, and my cats were relaxed and happy. She spent time with them. When I returned, they were at peace! The cat room was clean, and they were well-fed. I definitely will hire Kelli from now on. I have a possible upcoming weekend trip in October and November. I will be traveling in January and during spring break. For sure, I will be hiring Kelli next June/July/Aug 2026, when I go to Japan for three months for a class and a pilgrimage.
