About: I come from a big dog and cat loving family. We always had at least 2 dogs and 2 cats at any given time, so I have experienced large animal families! I am very active and love to walk, and I have my own pitbull who I walk frequently. I work in a hospital and I only work three days per week, so for the entire second half of the week my availability is completely open to come check on and walk your fur babies! I care for pets in your home/during walks by sticking to the routine and rules outlined by you, prioritizing their safety, and ensuring their enrichment both mentally and physically.
About: What sets me apart is my genuine, lifelong love for animals. I truly believe pets are too good for this world and deserve endless love, patience, and attention. I don’t see them as “just pets,” but as family members who deserve to feel safe, happy, and understood. I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, which has given me strong knowledge of their needs, typical behaviors, and what they should and shouldn’t eat. I’m naturally patient and kind, love taking dogs on walks and to dog parks, and focus on positively reinforcing good behavior so every pet feels confident, cared for, and loved. 🐾❤️ I am available to engage in dog care Monday- Friday, and Saturday and Sundays if told with enough time in advance. I am flexible and can work with different schedules. I am very respectful of each owners routine for their fur babies and can navigate complex instructions for their care. The pets wellbeing always comes first, and my care will focus on their safety, joy, and needs.
“It’s always such a relief knowing someone is there to look after my little buddy — even if he hides under the bed the whole time! Thank you for being there for him to make sure he had everything he needed.”

“Mandy takes great care of my pups. They are high energy and she does a nice drop-in visit that includes great details about what they do each time. She's an excellent sitter!”

“Chanel was amazing! My cats were shy, but she made a point to still find them and send pictures. She was really communicative and got back to me super quickly. It made our trip much better knowing our cats were okay!”

About: I have taken care of pets my entire life and always had at least one furry friend. I currently have a senior cat who is 18 years young. My schedule is flexible and I would love to care for your pets! I love my own pets fiercely and know how important it is to have a trusted sitter while you are away. I will care for your pets in your home. I feel that they feel more comfortable in their own environment and can meet their needs there.

About: Hello, my name is Alexa (some friends also call me by middle name, Cecilia). I have been a dog lover and parent since I was young, and as an adult have gotten the opportunity to care for a variety of breeds and ages. I have experience with small breeds, senior dogs, and puppies/adolescent dogs in my own home as well as when friends and neighbors need some extra help. Medication regimens, playtime, training sessions, and of course some cuddle time are all in my comfort zone. Whatever accommodations you need for your pet, I am happy to provide and send photo/video updates while you're away! I currently have a part-time job in the evenings only a few days a week, and also take classes at UNLV. However, most of my schooling is online and my work schedule is very flexible as well. With that flexibility, I can be available in the Daytime and Evenings. For longer stays, extra notice will help me plan accordingly to accept the opportunity to care for your pets. Whether there's a backyard available or not, I'm happy to take your pet out and about to ensure they stretch their legs and get their sniff on. Depending on your pet's temperament and your comfort level, I can facilitate play dates or keep them company solo. Safety is important to me, and I treat every pet as if they were my own.
“Carrie has been an absolute life saver! I recently adopted a 6 month old puppy and was looking for someone that could work with my work schedule since I work long hours at night. Carrie always replies quickly, works perfectly with my schedule and any sudden changes, and she treats Don Julio so well and is always keeping me updated with pictures and what they get up to. This was my first time using rover and Carrie has made it so easy and not stressful at all. I will continue to book her in the future”

About: I’ve taken care of animals ever since I was younger including reptiles, birds, cats and of course dogs! I especially love pit bulls! I love to go out on walks and teach dogs basic tricks. I’m available whenever except after 11pm-8am, so I can spend all day with your fur baby ! On the weekends I'm free to spend my full time!(╹◡╹) I care for your pets the same way I care for my own. I’ll follow their routine closely and give them lots of affection and attention! I make sure to stick their feeding, walking, and play schedules. I can send regular photo updates so you can feel reassured your fur baby is safe and happy. (^^)

About: I have been caring for pets for several years, including running my own house and pet sitting business in the UK. During that time, I provided dog walking, overnight pet sitting, and long term in home care for repeat clients, often during extended holidays. I work full time during the day on weekdays, so I am best suited to overnight stays, evenings, early mornings, weekends, and longer bookings where pets are comfortable with a normal daytime routine. I have experience with dogs and cats of all sizes, including senior pets, anxious animals, and multi pet households. I am comfortable administering medication and understand how important routine, patience, and a calm approach are, especially for pets who may feel unsettled when their owners are away. My focus is always on making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for in their own environment. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
