About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have cared for every kind of personality from playful puppies to slow moving seniors. I’m currently a dog mom to Sunni and Cher, my five year old duo. Before them, I raised Roxy and Lily from puppyhood all the way into their senior years, and Roxy lived to 17. Friends and family have always trusted me to walk, feed, and look after their pets, and I take that responsibility seriously. I work full time as a nurse, so I offer pet care on Wednesdays and weekends. Those days are completely open for walks and drop ins, and I’m reliable with scheduling and communication. When I’m caring for someone else’s pet, I treat their home and their routine with the same respect I expect for my own. I pay close attention to feeding instructions, meds if needed, and any quirks the pet might have. I’m big on safety—locked doors, leashes clipped, and keeping a close eye on the pet at all times. My goal is to make sure your dog feels comfortable, calm, and cared for while you’re away.

About: Having a pet means creating a unique bond with a four legged friend. These past few years, working from home or being displaced by a natural disaster, our pets have become even more significant to our daily lives. It’s safe to say everyone has experienced much more daily one on one time with their fur baby and it’s been a blessing and a curse. I understand this first hand. As we have started to get “back to normal” our babies are left at home totally confused and lonesome. They aren’t used to being home by themselves anymore…or they never have been alone. My two dogs have never experienced a life with me being gone from 8-5 everyday. And trust me, they have developed some serious separation anxiety. Leaving can sometimes be nerve wrecking for me and my weenie dogs. That’s why I understand the importance of finding a dog sitter you can trust. I have experience with all ages. I’m comfortable administering most medication. (Within reason) I am willing to work with dogs who have anxiety. I have experience with basic obedience training. I have a very flexible schedule. I spend the majority of my time at home. When I’m not working with my own pets I’d like to offer help to pet parents who are working during the day. All three of my dogs have varying personalities. One is high anxiety and is currently medicated. For everyone’s safety, I follow a very strict protocol when it comes to interacting with other people and animals. My male dachshund is very social and friendly but impulsive and leash/boundary reactive. Meaning, off a leash is everyone’s friend. On a leash he panics and is reactive. Again, we follow strict protocol for everyone’s safety. Finally, there is my very friendly and neutral with everyone puppy. Although he is great with all people on and off leash we are still mindful of interactions with other dogs and how people approach him. Dog parks are a big NO! Leash safety is #1 Only secured yards are considered safe to be left unattended.
